Best Potions Poems

Magic Potions

All the creams and all the lotions,
Are not always the magic potions;
That keep our fleeting youth alive,
And help our dimming hopes survive.

As I sit here and ruminate,
On age that comes as sure as fate;
Finding wrinkles here and there,
Are right in tune with thin grey hair.

All that was said is coming true,
It comes to all not just a few;
So we need to shield the eyes,
From finding that time truly flies.

I’ve heard with doubt there is a rumour,
We need treat age with some humour;
But best we sit and think awhile,
And embrace old age with a smile.

Black Magic Potions

Across vacancy memories invoke forgotten years
Exodus from antipathy inscrutably liberates fears
                     Intransience spiritually battles amoral challenges
                     Crucially revitalized measures presaging changes

Deceptions obscure lies within fraudulent sleeves
                     Bringing adversaries down indictments aggrieves
                     Justifications echoing beyond overpowering roars
Unlike forsaken vessels reality lands upon shores

Probing mortal frailties evading blind perceptions
Enlightenment transcend old black magic potions
                     Delusion transmogrified into vanishing blemishes
Swept along eroding waves of abandoned wishes

Witches Potions

I really can't stand
to feel anything at all.
But being sober
feelings begin to crawl.
Into my brain
and than they invade my heart.
Why can"t they keep me
and my feelings apart?"
What am I supposed to do
with all of these emotions?
Is there something I can take?
Perhaps, some witches potions.
I get so confused
I thought I buried love.
Why did they dig it up?
Please, I've had enough.
Oh no, it seems I'm starting
to care about people again.
I know that care walked out on me
just like most of my friends.
Please God deliver me
I don't think I can cope.
I pray it's not too much to ask.
But could I have a little hope?

Like unwilling alchemy,
A forceful transmutation,
Tragedy to sanity -
Through sudden abnegation.

With fluid emotions -
The mixing of potions -

Alchemical abjuration.

Premium Member Love Potion Number Six

Though he tried to win her affection
All he got was her rejection
Then his best friend said he knew
A woman who could make a 'love brew'

So off they went with the notion
That they could acquire this love potion
They knocked on the old lady's door
She let them in, so they could explore

He told her of the girl he adored
And how by her he was ignored
Old lady Annie knew just what to do
She whipped up a most potent brew

It was indeed her favorite mix
She called it "love potion number six"
Then she said; "After putting this in her drink my boy
The first person she sees will be her love toy"

Just one drop and the girl would brim
With so much affection, only for him!
But now he had to think,
How to get one drop in her drink

He knew the place she'd go to eat
And that's where he'd put in the potion sweet
So his friend distracted her, and in a wink
He put the love potion into her drink

He puckered up for a passionate kiss,
    But then something went amiss
After she took a sip of the potion's blend
The first person she saw was his best friend!!

Bitter Potions

Bitter forms of breathing
The silent smile of death
We’ve drawn another reason
To let out this bitter breath

Can’t remain in patience
Can’t create my light
I only want this closer
This focus through the night

The chaos is my nightmare
It sings to me in dreams
What is truest pleasure
When it should all just make me scream?

I drink this bitter potion
In discontent of my real mind
While nothing else can save me
This concoction makes me blind

At times I can still wake up
I see the ashen skies
The reflections of my reason
And the poison in my lies

Where is all beginning
When I just start with death?
With hope my life comes after
This is the end of my last breath

My Potions of Love

My potions of love I create with great care
To help the lonely end their despair

Secret ingredients I carefully pick
Into the pot I stir with a stick

My potions of love I gather about
Full moons blessings offer strong clout

Drink on a Thursday then chant “I Love You”
Before you know it, you’ll be saying “I Do”

My potions of love go straight to the heart
A new life begins right from the start

Maybe some flowers maybe some salt
Whatever happens it isn’t my fault

Poetry positively proud
Purposeful Pondering Petals
Of a softest
 perpetual Persuasion poetry
Soup potion renders elation
Energy elevation? It is the
Escalation of the notion of a
Poetrysoup potion. Skipping
Stones at the liquid ledge at
The edge of tomorrow look
Through time. Is it the kind of
Time when promises are
Kept. Rhymes to eccept. Left
Right left right crept. The
Potion of devotion. Explosion
Of the heart. Is there a Cardiac
Guard. It especially exceptionally
Excellently. Artfully, awesome,
Substantially systematic just
Poetic words. That of which
Definitions never ever heard
Poetry potions poetic notions
I think the course has ended
But since I'm a versatile
Occupational better version of
Myself I'll continue in another
Rhyme at a different kind of
Communication but, I care only
For diligent conversation it
Really shouldn't matter though
I communicate in poetry I know
All the cues. Carry on my poetic
Friends this is me signing out.
Farewell, Farewell again.
Farewell.

What Is My Factory Going To Make

I’ll mix , I’ll stir, I’ll brew,
All kinds of potions new,
Yes, that’s what my factory’s gonna make,
We won’t make old biscuits or cake,
Happiness potions and weird notions,
That’s still hot, that some precautions,
Unlimited fun I will brew,
And potions that make everything go askew,
Beauty and growth and fairness,
Everything my potions would harness,
Smiles and hair they can grow,
Just the seeds you have to sow,
Potions of justice and equality too,
For everyone, both me and you,
That’s what my factory’s going to make.

Her house is hidden deep inside
where most will never go
Beyond where little children play
and wild strawberries grow

It’s camouflaged with plants and vines
she uses in her spells
A pentagram adorns her door
with silver antique bells

The people say the witch’s brews
all have some magic powers
She makes them with the plants she grows
and oils from special flowers

Some of this and some of that
the mystery remains
Her tangled web of secret plants
grow stronger when it rains

The people from the nearby town
all purchase her home brews
For health and love and longer life
which ever they might choose

At first newcomers don’t believe
her potions really work
And drink a few to get along
but always with a smirk

And then one day they ask a friend
to take them to the gate
So they can get a bottle too
Because they’re feeling great

Pills and Potions

Pills and potions
If only they could solve all the problems
One magic pill to make it all go away
If only it were that easy
Pop them in a cup, a concoction of things you don’t even know
Sip, and swallow, and it’ll all get better
But it doesn’t
It’s a choice between every thought urging you to take that jump, to strangle yourself,
That there’s no place in this world for you
And being too drugged up to even think about it
A mindless droid that purely exists and nothing more
And which is better really?
Is either option better than the other?
In the end, we trust the process and hope
Because hope is the only thing that can truly hold a person together
Without hope, there is nothing
No light
No path
No handle to grasp

Are all magic potions green?
I stare at my latest painting
This one is.
I reach for green.
Somehow I accidentally pick up pink.
I paint the magic potion pink.
Once again my subconscious
outsmarted and outperformed
my conscious
