Play-A Romantic Adventure

Written by the hands,
  Of James Matthew Barrie.
Came a remarkable play,
Of four kids and a fairy.

Of a boy named Peter,
Who took Wendy by the hand.
Leading her and her brothers,
  To the magic of Neverland.

With childish innocence,
  Written in every line.
This ingenious play,
  Stood the test of time.

For Peter never ages,
  He’ll never be a man.
Solely a boy forever,
  Thus.......Peter Pan.

With a little pixie dust,
Off the wings of Tinker Bell.
Came a romantic adventure,
In the words of a fairy tale.

Don'T Play a Dirge, When I'M No Longer

Don't play a dirge, when I'm no longer
Cozy dreams and fickle nights we used to ponder
Shut down the roads; close off that phone,
For I am no more.
Hold not a vigil, even though we're really prone

Rather, just say a few happy things,
A poem or two that are far from gloom
With a few friends and then lay under the stars
Where you'll remember me, as the anchor to your heart
Like the moon always holds the stars.

My everlasting North, my lighthouse
You are the anchor to my soul
Remember me for my smiles like the calm in the night
And not for my hurt and anger like those raging tempests

Although I may seem far
Look at the night sky, you see our star
Remember that I'll be near
Even though I won't be here.

Like that simple kiss in December
That we always seem to remember
My heart knows not of extravagant things.
So light a candle in my memory, only one.

Though cozy dreams and fickle nights we used to ponder.
Don't play a dirge, when I'm more longer.

Lets Play a Game

One false move,
with one short breath,
opening my soul,
to someone i trust,
telling him all,
that matures to me,
thinking its okay,
we are meant to be.
Not knowing the truth,
that hides behind that smile,
should have known better,
but i was in denial.
His soft sweet lips,
his beautiful eyes,
full of compassion?
NO! full of secrets and lies.
Thought i found love,
my heart is such a fool,
you broke me apart,
that really isn't cool.
I'll move on though,
you cant keep me down,
the bittersweet game of love,
you were just another lost round.

Now We Play a Selfless Game

As we sit inside our homes
We sit together and alone
change the world we have known
A brand new side of life is shown

Life so selfish and fast paced
our aims, ambitions out of place
The daily grind, the daily race
we now live without this the case

We seek to further for selfish gain
now we play a selfless game
a boat which we all row the same
to keep ourselves and close ones safe

And how the air now tastes clear
the wildlife which does appear
appreciation in national cheer
it took the fear to get us here

But now we know the good of change
neighbours whom are not estranged
Togetherness at first quite strange
all to stop the germ exchange

An understanding we now include
social distance not seen as rude
I do it for me I do it for you
And the rest do it for each other too

A change of life unforeseen
a care and unity never been
Humankind within a dream
A human race we had never seen

From these moments we see the best
with a new anxiety our only stress
as we lay our past ways to rest
I hope that soon you are my guest

Premium Member For You, I'Ll Play a Lullaby

For you, I will play this tune,
So you too can fall asleep soon.

For you, I made a bed out of this blanket,
So that you may rest upon its soft fabric.

For you, I will hum along as well,
So you can be lulled into a deep slumber.

Premium Member I Play a Requiem

I play a requiem
The notes follow
The path of my tears
Down my stricken face
A requiem
For what I carry in my heart
Passion that has died
Leaving no hope for revival
Now to be enshrouded
In layer upon layer
Of misplaced trust
Deceitful dreams
And infertile words

I mourn, I weep
I rend my clothes
And keep
A vigil in this empty chamber
Of my heart
Guarding the dead
Beating my chest
In time with the requiem
That plays incessantly in my head
As I walk along the bier
Refusing burial rights
Hoping for a miracle of light

The requiem plays on
And I sit in a stupor
Exhausted...spent
Tears soaking my gown of mourning
Unable to make sense of it all

What will I do now?
How will I go on?
Without the beat of my heart
Without my little words
Without my passion

I play a requiem
embellishing each measure
with note memories and tears
A requiem for the dead
The impetus for me
To live on....

Play-A-Lot

Play a lot as we always enjoy being just together.
Like kids we would burst our hearts with laughter.
Doing things so happy, having fun seems forever.
The two of us with giggles as if stopping is never.

Play a lot with you my Honey; I love it in the snow.
As we at each other the small ice we would throw.
The coldness of the weather made our cheeks glow.
The perfect joy we shared in our eyes clearly show.

Play a lot what a wonderful time spending with you.
We can do so many things even only with us two.
Whatever it takes there can be no reason to be blue.
Our relationship for me, in my heart is like a tattoo.

Let's Play a Mind Game

Let me guess

You got curious seeing the topic

You wanted to know what it says

Oh you got surprised !

Just a wild prediction

You skim through to know more

Did you get message

You are looking for ?

I hope no ! So far,

Our Mind is like a kid

You give it thoughts to munch

First you anticipated it’s interesting post

Seeing title , your mind believed

After reading, you may have

Second thoughts , so your mind lost interest

Always filter what you tell your mind indirectly

Because you shape your mind images

Make it positive and confident

Feed it constructive thoughts

Agreed !!
Now you might be smiling ,

Or nodding your head,

After all it’s small mind game

To get your attention

I predict you will surely hit like

If you understand above points ??

If I Could Play a Flute Like Krishna

Baby if I could play my flute like Krishna
You would be attracted by my charisma

Baby you are my thought’s mania
It seems you are my utopia

Baby you are my love’s sweetest goal
You can make me a diamond from coal

Baby you are my hope to survive
Your negligence can burn me alive

Premium Member Let's Play a New Game

Dedicated to this promise am I
I swore that one day I would again look you in the eye

Many Moons and many Suns have come and gone
But through the Seasons of centuries I've lingered on

Loved many faces, lived many lives
Been all the places you've sold your lies

You see this world as a place for fun
For you to manipulate every living creature under the Sun

I just wanted to show you; just to let you know
That now I've found you there's no where to go

My old friend, my old comrade
Fallen we may be but we are not the same

The men and women you've made your slaves
You've played your game well but now you're out played

For I am here and here I will remain
My fallen angel;

let's play a new game!

Play a Jedi Mind Trick

How far does the ego inflate
how vain can one man be
thinking you outsmart a mate
controlling as you please

When you become so lazy
every little task is hard work
and mind control seems crazy
yet successful without effort

When you decide that you’ll imply
something you want done
To somebody who doesn’t mind
getting up off their bum

And they complete the mission
whilst you sit lazy as you do
when by your own admission
they were tricked and so by you

When you play this game with me
it’s not something new
I’ve played this game since I was three
yet you ain’t got a clue

I’ll let you build your confidence
so it becomes the norm
you won’t think it’s coincidence
but a skill you perform

And you’ll become reliant
and expect over time
As each time you apply it
it’ll strengthen in your mind

You really think I’m unaware
of the very things I do
showing just how much you care
and what I am to you

All the while you think you’re clever
Or that I am really thick
getting me to do whatever
some sort of Jedi trick

It doesn’t bother me one bit
you’re the lazy one
one day when you really need it
Oops it won’t be done

By when you’ll know no different
Reality as you know it to be
You’ll be left in a predicament
expectations placed on me

And if you’re really big headed
you might even have delusions
you’ve let it become embedded
you’ll fail to reach conclusions

Who the hell do you think you are
using someone you think dumb
Miles ahead of you from the start
I think you’re the stupid one

You thought you had control
and that you could use a friend
how malicious and how cold
get out my life, the end

Role Play- a Tale Without a Moral

everything was
going good
we both
understood
our characters
but the script
was ad lib

we already had
our clothes
off so it would
be in the
dialogue that
would project
and proffer

what the other was
willing to offer
in this made
up world where
words could
up the
ante

and so she said
she was scantily
clad just in a silk
bra and panties
when she got
the door i was
knocking on

with that this was
the time for my
opening lines
being a pizza
delivery man
with a real fat
belly but fake

abs i said you
called in an all
toppings large
minus the pine
apple what's in
the business
called a

supreme with
everything and
she said yes
she did but
didn't have
any money
for a tip

playing coy but
playing my part
i told her not to
worry never mind
but she insisted
that a tip was
what i would

get as she tried
to lead me inside
but holding true
though she held
my hand trying
to drag me across
the threshold

i said and told her
to let go her hold
that i had other
customers and
that their
pizzas
were

getting cold
and then out of
character she let
my hand go and
said she supposed
she would have to
eat her large alone

and left the room
so with a closed
door in my face
i left that house
and wondered
why the next
door neighbor

complained
about me
being
naked
in my
own
yard
