Why

We were born as one of eight,
As always said last in first out,
Some of us unfortunately late,
To be found out what this is all about.

Through as seed to eyes wide,
Reflections of our guardians past,
Our lifes path determined for the ride,
On us as punishment did last.

Running to each for rescue,
Our thoughts, minds a damage,
Not realising all affected as we grew,
By ignorance and uncontrolled rage.

Given a mind of neediness and not real thought,
A reality of life for the rest,
Real knowledge and understanding never sort,
A fight to achieve and make the best.

Of what was afforded to our untrained mind-sets,
Surviving the stages of life,
Who was to know who above placed bets,
A guardian dies and relieves a little strife.

Some leave as falsely grown,
The rest left behind to continue,
To continue in chosen paths without proper seeds sown,
A new step in our life, pain to persue.

A little relief of a place,
Bodies growing but minds stunted,
To a new home we move but same pace,
By continued hurt, pain forever blunted.

Behind closed doors but some unheeded,
Our own flesh grabbed at by a new,
The cries of our little bodies that needed,
Evil persons not of the same blood we knew.

Why was this to be our serve?
Please be taken away,
What did we do to deserve,
As children to avoid more dismay.

The end eventually given,
Finally a space to heal,
By powers unknown for continued living,
A built outer protection sheath for real.

Our own flesh birth we give,
As supposed to be,
To learn from our past and live,
We did not know true glee.

But for us and them we will try our best,
Of ours and heir’s share our pains,
To remain and love as true for the rest,
As in the past hurt always rains.

But to know and learn how,
One day all will know, what,
Life is supposed to be now,
Transpired and by who caused this rot.

Life will continue I know, without shame,
As we all are not the same.

State of Mind

Yo, how long has it been since you quit trying?
Or perhaps your your self-assurance is cooled and drying.
Maybe it is your arrogance that's fortifying
Your state of mind that's forever verifying.

Self-reliance and discretion in latitude,
Confidential secrets kept in gratitude.
Our laziness is a companion to platitude;
Of course we all know it's really an attitude.

So where do you go from here to appreciate
Lessons of objective differentiate?
Making the changes to complete your self-portrait,
Faith and belief reconstruct, reconciliate.

Temerity must fall by the wayside while you persue
Those things given to provide discression to you.
Tact, talent, trust, and truth are the tools we use to work through
Order and procedures that program anew.

Seeing the bigger picture creates flexibility
Thinking carefully opens avenues of discernability.
Your new state of mind, simply served with humility
Shows what fun life can be when you re-think your ability.

New Beginnings

the past turns to rust
Experience is vast, but change has come fast
For tomorow the future i lust
Burn my past, for a new tomorow i must
Tomorow will i awake???, In God i trust
regret torments my soul, but not my thrust
Against all odds, I rose like dust....
poverty and backwardness stood in my life
like a movie cast.
I died, they killed me,.. "yes they tried"
Path of greener pastures i did find
My pain turned blind, they lied...
"Yes they did", because i found purpose and
pride
They died, and i live to forget
Said "no" to my past, "no" to regret
Victory and honor I can bet
I left, to persue life's revealings
born catterpillar, turned butterfly...I CHERISH
MY NEW BEGINNINGS!!!

Ooh la la, the rose, coronate her beauty.
Her ruffled scent, her hues, dare not refuse.
When petals red, like strawberry-fruity,
and lovey-dovey white, one must persue.
Persistent veil of mist will kiss one’s soul,
will kill one’s love for any forthright bud.
She’s no petulant child, a fine trompe l’oiel.
Commands perfume’d ascent of pulse, life’s blood.
Beneath the fray, a thorn’d adversary
will snag the jugular of swivel-head.
Her red pursed lips, dove-skin, a bit scary.
Don’t be tempted to find another’s bed.
She stands ten feet tall-er than uncut weeds.
She possesses a prowess set that leads.

Premium Member Meant For Someone Else

Last night I had a dream
to give to you this song I'd sing
Tho on my mind was someone else
But there were you from off my shelf
So here I am to write to you
that poetry so long overdue

The walls of life were
so high and wide
But feelings are emotions
dictated by the eye's
The dragons that guarded
your tower so high
Responsibility and honor
were reasons to hide
Yet even now
those feelings they stayed
forever in my heart
the beauty it weighs
The eye's, the hair,
and guiltless tones
No reason was ever given
to leave you alone
Never in your actions
would harm I'd see
No rumors infractions
almost sin free
A lasting attraction
you'd always be

Little girls play with dolls
And in a way boys do too
Countless were days and nights
my doll would be you
But always in reality
I could never persue
That higher class fatality
inner feeling I saw as you
In a sad existance
shyness always reigns
Your nothing but a pauper
To a princess your just a stain
But here I am now
with feeling I've not outgrown
I imagin now we both know these feelings
I've only slightly shown
This morning I'd sing you a song
I meant for someone else
But instead I write this poetry
for this reality is myself
She might be my today
But you'll always be my tommarow
And it's a fact that I cant hide
what God see's as my sorrow

Path We Persue

Life as understood by many resembles a journey traveled in a daze.
yet you feel lost, we can't help but carry on.
As we travel up the hill not knowing whats on the other side,
where the next curve begins, when to speed up,
or when to slow our pace.
Even as it seems at times we are blindfolded at very least,
human nature tells us to keep pushing through.
our best interest at that time is to put the path of life on hold,
and asses our situation. Even if common sense makes you believe it would be difficult
or even impossible to resume the path started so long ago.
When it all seems impossible or hopelessness stares you in the eye.
Now is the time to grasp our greatest tool in life, just as God said let their be light.
let our light be the knowledge and support of your friends & family.
Use this and not even the devil himself can use his power and influence to corrupt us.
When we have 100% faith in ourselves combined with love for all that is good and pure.
And the hope that our destiny is not being pursued in vain.
Only positive results are to be found.
If u reach hard towards your soul and gather the will to strike down all that is negative.
Then and only then do the clouds disperse the sun becomes radiant
and all becomes clear. And the realization that our goal is in our grasp once again.
so before i put this pen down and carry on with my quest of surprises
and not knowing whats to come.
a prayer has been said guidance has been asked,
and a sense of relief is then achieved.

One Night Stand

The cocktails were pricy,
but easy to consume
Body language said it all
and invited me up to your room.

Names are not important,
no words will be spoken.
We play the game of strangers
and hope no hearts will be broken.

Our clothes are all crinkled
and laying on the floor,
Your touch leaves me breathless,
yet I'm still gasping for more.

Fantasies turning into reality,
dreams coming true.
Pleasure invades me,
my climax you persue.

Our bodies entangled,
our senses on fire.
One night of passion,
fuelling a deep burning desire.

Epitaph To Fallen Heroes

As we rallied to the Falklands cry,
And prepared ourselves to fight and die,
Some willing, some pressed, some volunteers,
All with deep down hidden fears.
Gangways gone, Hawser sip,
Sail Intrepid, fighting ship!!
Long hard days, sleepless nights
Working hard to get things right.
Ascension passed, Falklands closing
Argentine threat, everyone joking.
D Day troops- we pushed them through,
Still we laughed, so little we knew.
For us the war was still not real,
How could we know just what we'd feel.

Sympathy, hurt, pain and fears,
revulsion, hate, horror and tears
Bombs exploding - war is raging,
Begin to realise what we're facing.
Rockets loud and missiles firing,
Heroes living, heroes dying.
"Hit the deck" we hear the cry,
Please dear God I dont want to die
Air raid over, planes depart,
All quiet, that was just the start.
Weeks go past, countless plans
Intrepid:- Battle hardened veterans
Air raids come and air raids go
British Victory? Hopes they grow,
Ships hit, ships sinking,
People hurt, it gets me thinking,
So much pain and so much sorrow
Christ: it could be me tomorrow

Now at last Port Stanley taken
Argentine hopes, all are broken,
Britain has won, or have we really?
Peace has been paid for, very dearly.
Thousands of lives have been lost,
How can one start to count the cost!
Shortly, back to Britain will be the course,
Set by the victorious:- Task Force!
Into the arms of the waiting newsmen,
To be out on page one to page ten.
But when the publicity has all passed,
As I'm sure you know it cannot last,
Who'll remember the fallen lads,
Who gave their lives for the Falkland Islands.
The distant land no-one recalls,
Except when they bother to take a slight pause.
So take heed Politicians, look back over history,
And forget the Chivalry and the Glory.
They don' exist - lest not in this age,
Or can they in any future war we may wage.
Before you set forth on any crusade you may persue,
Remember the servicemen, you need to back you.
From this Epitaph, let one thing remain,
Don't even let one man have died in Vain!!!!!!

Love Needs Two Hearts

Love cannot bloom,
love cannot go on,
love cannot persue it dreams,
love cannot be what it is meant to be,
love cannot be where it is supposed to be,
if love doesn't have two hearts.

Love needs two hearts to be true,
Like water to a dried rose
makes it bloom in spring weather
with such glory and beauty.
Love cannot be true if one heart
doesn't love the other.
Care, trust, honesty and loyalty
in love it has no boundaries,
it has no color, it has no age,
like a fine wine or an aged whiskey
it grows better with time.
But love cannot fullfill without the other half.

If a woman loves man,
let her love him,
if you love me,
than love me, but if my heart is gone
and cannot be found in such relation with you
then I must halt, till my heart comes around.
If it never does show with the first light of morning,
then it wasn't meant to be with thee.
Come now, do not shed a tear for me,
a simple heathin, who cries havoc
when something doesn't go his way.
Do not cry, do not shed your one of a kind tears
for a souless man, for a heartless man like I,
but do not blame me,
if my heart cannot be found.

Love needs two hearts,
not one or the other can survive
without each other.
Love is patient, love is kind,
but with ever lover comes another.
And we will all fall in great and deep love,
be intoxicated with each other,
and our sweet kisses that God himself would shed a tear
for such beauty that still exisits.
Love needs two hearts,
you cannot have one, without the other.

Pirate!

This man o' war,
comandeered!
By men to be feared,
the likes you never saw

The hunt for gold doubloon
in the Spanish Main
Must end soon,
the buccaneers getting restless again

To take a treasure ship as a prize
To see, such wealth with ones's own eyes
Satins,silks,pearls and gold,
these pirates,so bold!

Silver,rubies,emeralds and sapphires too,
a pirates quest
For they sail the ocean blue,
not willing to rest
until they get the ultimate treasure chest

These rich green isles
set in sea so blue
Bright sun,
for so many nautical miles
By musket and gun
Treasure ships attract pirate crew

Such exotically named ships
and the terror they invoke
Fiery Dragon,Revenge,Adventure Galley
Rising Sun,Fancy and of course...Black Joke

The Caribbean,a favourite hunting ground
Sails unfurled,
they stalk the seas of the world
Unrelenting in their desire for treasure mound

Ripple of shrapnel,
Lunge of grapple
Laying of grapeshot,
this is a pirates' lot

This cannon to make ships heave to
Powder and ball,
on a sea so blue
Treasure! A pirates call.

This lush tropical isle,
so green
The like, you have never seen
Where pirates pertake in cunning and guile
This white beach..............
The haunt of Blackbeard
The infamous Edward Teach!

Gold,satins,silks and rubies too
Diamonds, pearls, they will persue
Spanish galleons of gold,
the best prize to hold

For the pirates of the Spanish Main,
treasure,an ill gotten gain
The risk high
The rewards to hope...........
The likely outcome,
for some............
dangling at the end of a rope

This treasure buried on some tropical green isle
Waiting to be found,
by cunning and guile
Doubloons,silver abound!
Emeralds,rubies and sapphires too,
all waiting on a sea of blue
To be discovered..................
By you.

Sometimes it can be hard to find yourself
The world seems like a really huge place
Graduation is a really big step
You wonder what's the next move you should make

The world seems like a really huge place
The future seems it is so far away
You wonder what's the next move you should make
Contemplating is a good way to go

The future seems it is so far away
It comes regardless of what you decide
Contemplating is a good way to go
Your choice determines which path you travel

It comes regardless of what you decide
Be passionate never settle for less
Your choice determines which path you travel
You are much stronger than you realize

Be passionate never settle for less
Graduation is a really big step
You are much stronger than you realize
sometimes it can be hard to find yourself

I dedicate this poem to you Nicole. My prayer for you
is that you find your inner strength and a worthy dream
to persue. You are capable of more than you realize so
Do not be afraid to choose a challenging path. Surprise yourself,
learn your possibilities, be amazed. Congratulations on
Completing a very important first step. Love Uncle Rick

A Second Opinion

Many of us knows what it's like when the doctor gives us bad new
But before we make any decisions a second opinion we often persue
Now society will look at you and then judge you by your cover
But after a second opinion and another look they may then discover
That you're not as sick as they say you are and you're not at death's door
As the healing spirit of Our Lord Jesus the Christ will likely say much more
For when you touch Jesus and not just bump Jesus the healing process will begin
And no matter what's ailing you will be removed like a malignant sin

Now Jesus had went to a home where the people said a child was dead
But Jesus had a second opinion and His healing spirit said
The child is not dead, she is just sleeping
So everyone needs to stop all this wailing and weeping

What people fail to understand is that their emergencies
Does not always require a Godly urgency
Sometimes we have to wait on God to put things in place
So that our situations can receive His infinite mercy and grace
In other words don't throw in the towel you need to keep the faith
To be a witness to the goodness that in your path God will place

An opportunity for a second opinion you need to just believe
That if you wait on the hand of God a healing you will receive
Just don't possess the spirit of disbelief and negativity
And don't hang with those who'll stifle your desires and God's creativity
And as long as you trust and believe in the Holy gospel
You will find that with God nothing is impossible

A second opinion is what sometimes we need in life
And we will get if we just trust and believe
In the healing powers of Our Lord Jesus the Christ
