The Loneliest Teardrop

The life we choose the choices we make
Knowing how much to give knowing how much to take

Now this equation is not simple at least not for me to ascribe
For a lifetime worth of pain and not once have I cried

It's not remedies or reason for this affliction which I seek
For I am pleased with the joys I have given while not needing to weep

Yet I cant help but wonder though as yet I have not tried
Would my life had been much different were I able to cry

For I have seen the results of tears when they are freely shed
How embraces would soon follow with soft strokes to ones head

Now I can love and be tender without much effort or strain
Yet I am unable to give comfort when tears fall like the rain

But I will always be loving and Gods gifts to me I will share
And maybe the day I meet him in heaven will be the day I shed my tear

This Is the Day That the Lord Has Made

Morning lights on my leaden eyes
And on my body still weighted in sleep
Fuzzy thoughts try to creep into my mind
I try to move not sure if I really want to wake
I check the time on my mobile
That is beside my mattress on the floor
(Even though this bed is not quite ideal I reflect
At least I have a roof over me and I am safe)
My body clock and nature’s demands
Say I must rise
In this I have no option
I roll over holding my sore back
I will my legs to move
I shuffle slowly at first
It helps my circulation
The heaviness dissipates
I start to move less painfully
The warm summers day looks on me with lacksadaisy eyes
My body responds like a dull knife that is not able to cut anything
I need a sharpening tool
They say ‘Iron sharpens iron’
I need this if I am going to make this day cut with any precision
Painlessly, cleanly and with heightened sharpened wit
I look to the Rock that is higher than I
My heart is quickened within as I acknowledge His spirit in me
I am not alone for the sword of His word brings me light and joy
His presence in me brings me peace
And soon that which is corruptible will be swallowed up into eternal day
‘This is the day that the Lord has made’ I will rejoice in it
For YOU have made me Glad!

Bullying Ruin Lives

Every day in school
They would pick on him
And threaten to kill his mom
If he reported them

The constant abuse
And the physical attacks
For months he took it
And the teachers all turn their backs

The shame and humiliation
His peace of mind and sanity is gone
The hurt in his heart
While the girl he likes helplessly looks on

The frustrations of the parents
Seeing their only child health decline
And the teachers who turn a blind eye
Telling them everything in school is fine

The attempt of suicide one night
When the father saw him with knife
Asking if he will go to heaven or hell
If he takes his own life

The tear of the kidney
For the force of the kicks and blows
The lost of appetite and weight
The suffering only he alone knows

But he did open his mind he said
I can’t got through another year like this
And when they were arrested then many
Told the press what they had witness

Today he is trying to get back his life
But his road is pave with bad memories
And sometimes he almost reaches the end
And then get scared of the shadows of the trees

Then he is right back where he started
And then he has to start again with frustration
Sometime lashing out at his parents and family
Trying to get some much need attention

Looking at him very quite sitting alone
Wondering what’s going on in his poor mind
And wishing to that one day god will
Bring him the peace he so much wants to find

He is a fighter and his will are very strong
Yes today he is along way from there
And I know that eventuality the time will come
His smile will return that has now disappear

The war must be over for now
But every day he has a battle to face
But in the end he will be victorious
And get back his life that has been misplace

So many kids has and are being bulled
And some are talking their own lives
For when you feel all hope is gone
Then it’s very hard to survive

They are sick and tired of the abuse,
and they little minds fought so hard, so very long,
And was just couldn’t make it
through the pain, and stayed strong.

I wish all students will look after the weak
The ones who are very quite and shy
And if the teachers and students do this
Then so many of our children will not have to die

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

In My Solitude

In my solitude there's been retreat
From worldly events that brought defeat,
When emotions were too weak to bear
I could always find asylum there.

Through childhood, grade school, college too
And as a Man, I always knew
An inner peace down deep inside
Where I would go sometimes to hide.

Then came one day the hordes of Hell
And darkness all around me fell,
A battle ensued in that black night
For my very soul I began to fight!

From the belly of Hell I began to pray
Like Jonah did on his dark day,
And just like then God heard my prayer
He came, and conquered my enemies there.

He restored my faith, He made me new
He gave me peace I never knew,
He gave me armor and washed off the mud
With nothing, save his own son's blood!

He told me that He was the source
Of peace I'd found through my life's course,
He said that He would always be
In my solitude, waiting there for me.

In my solitude the Master waits
With wisdom there He demonstrates
Life's lessons that He gives through strife
That prepare us for everlasting life.

The last thing that He said to me
On that glorious day of victory,
He smiled, and then He called me "Son"
"Go tell the world what I have done!"

Peoples Peace Day

April the second to be called "peoples peace day".
From Joe
April the second an international holiday, called peoples peace day.
The second of April as its the day after 'April fools day' I think the world populace
have been fools long enough to the cause and effect of wars.'
I would like all who agree to leave
a short message on Joes blog
I wish you all out there the very best,
want to hear from you and want to add; I know we can succeed ..'
p/s you can also leave feedback on my twitter account @maverixk_joe

A poetical essay by Percy Bysshe Shelley,
I stumbled across this by accident Don, it would make
a great read on any April the second holiday.' keep well mate..

Millions to fight compell'd, to fight or die
In mangled heaps on War's red altar lie . . .
When the legal murders swell the lists of pride;
When glory's views the titled idiot guide
Percy Bysshe Shelley

A sad truth for the mongrel aloof,
yet to die in vain is the matter,
make it a matter of pride? oh forsooth?
The Somme had the bones, yes to scatter,
Don Johnson
Thank you Joe Maverick, apologies to Percy Bysshe Shelly.

Sunny Weather Dream Lyrics For Halleluja Contest

SUNNY WEATHER DREAM

There was a child --who had a dream,
Peace gave his eyes a secret gleam,
But no one thought he had a chance to do much,
And every day he went to school, his teachers were some awful fools
But still he tried to keep it all together
     His heart beating:
     Sunny weather, sunny weather,
His heart beating : sunny weather, sunny weather
====================================================
The boy became a man one day
The dream was safely tucked away
Though no one thought he had a chance to do much
Kept his nose clean-- to the ground, sure his life would turn around
There must be Someone who holds it all together!
     In the distance:
     Sunny weather, sunny weather,
     In the distance:
     Sunny weather, sunny weather
====================================================
The world was heavy --time’s were rough
And all alone life seems so tough
Still no one thought he’d had a chance to do much
But he stayed faithful to his song, Did more right than he did wrong
tried to keep his life and loves together
And he longed for : Sunny weather, sunny weather,
How he longed for: Sunny weather, sunny weather
====================================================
And then one day he fell apart
His precious dream escaped his heart
Still no one thought he had a chance to do much
But every day the world made war, the body count piled more and more
He drifted off as helpless as a feather
    And his soul grabbed
    Sunny weather, sunny weather,
    sunny weather, sunny weather
====================================================
There was a dream that had a man
    Proclaiming peace in every land
Though no one thought he had a chance to do much
The ragged tune a little blurred but was a song that children heard
Rejoiced that he had kept it all together
    Now the world sings
    Sunny weather, sunny weather,
    Now the world sings:
    Sunny weather,sunny weather

Chains

Click, Clack
The sound of their chains dragging the floor.
                                 Chains
My ancestors were bound by their feet and legs.
                                      Chains
                      journeying to a foreign land.
Childern and women on one side, Men on the other.
Brothers can't help their sisters, wives, or mothers they can't help one another.
Hush hear that sound low in the distance.
                               Swing low sweet chariot.
They sing a mighty hymn hoping and praying to one day go back home to the motherland.
                                                 Chains
Together side by side every day and night down in the belly of a ship so long can't remember the last sunrise.
                                             Chains
Rusting, burning into the flesh but the slaves hang on.
                                                Chains
One day They'll break, the slaves will be free because of their faith, and fight.
God will lead them to a better life.
Freedom, Freedom that great day when my ancestors broke free of those chains.

It's day one of the rest of our lives
Beginning as it usually does
But this one seems a little bit different
The old world is all abuzz

It's all abuzz with great excitement
Something's about to take place
Has this old world finally realized a truth
We're destroying the human race

Since the very beginning of time it seems
Wars have forever been fought
Over land, religion and ideologies
In a web of destruction we're caught

A day of awakening is about to take place
We have finally seen the light
From this day on wars will be abolished
Peace is finally in sight

Am I dreaming out loud? Can this be true?
Pinch me to make sure I'm awake
Let's hope this time it's more than a dream
But reality for all our sakes!

What Makes Me Get Up

What makes me get up
is the strongest coffee cup,
and the enthusiasm to live a full day:
either indoor to write, or outside to play.

Watching movies is fun, but laziness stores fat in my belly,
sitting on the coach, eating potato chips and drinking cola;
junk food won't harm my body if used moderately...
is there a sunnier, warmer place than California?

What wakes me up is the noise of a robin
tapping on my foggy window with his tiny beak;
if he's hungry, he'll flap...if he stands still, it means it'll rain,
hoping I'll invite him in and warble another tune he learned down the creek.

Vacations are far away, late July on my calendar of active man...
choose North or South, snow or sunshine?
Go skiing, or play gulf all day then dine
at the nearest restaurant, but my choice would be zesty Italian.

Isn't my lifestyle exciting and busy, not envying the rich,
or resent the luxuries they can afford along with caviar and champagne?
My pleasures are simple and inexpensive, like the sandiest beach...
you can come along and experience the thrill of an enjoyable day in slow lane.

The Struggle of Life

The struggle of life..

The battle is not over, either the peace is not dead
Between the struggle of life is a pain in the world
The objects are not achieved
either the struggle have brought triumph
Between the two walls of hatred, life still found horrible
The games are played in the battlefield with human life
while God is kept as an Umpire
In the battlefield men grapple each other and die
and bring glory for his country just for nothing
We are human creature and our life is a great mystery
And day to day we are living with paralyzing fear
Our life is so much of struggle without peace
and sweeping with confused thoughts.
We travel different journeys with different paths
Our journey is either short or long
but never meant to stay for ever
But during our stay we have to find a peace of life
and it is only possible through the Kingdom of Heaven.

Hate From the Sky

Paper rain falling dark gray sky
Many tears falling disaster on the rise
Many eyes searching for the love lost
From the hate that fell from the sky
So much life gone so hard for those
Who had to survive
Searching for answers for what could
Have gone wrong
Trying to stay strong as they try to explain
To the young at heart how one day
Hate came to devastate and take
The peace bring a storm of pain
And lost love to never be found
On sacred grounds we mourn and pray
For those we lost on a September day
Who is to say we build from old to new
So few knew those lost but on that day
The world held hands to pray
For the fate of those we lost from hate
Now we wont ever forget the date
The world stud still and came together
Hand in hand together we stand
To remember that warm September
Flowers will lay words will be said
Tears will fall memories relived
The world will hold hands once again
To pray for peace and love for those who remain

Season's Greetings

as always, the cycle af night and day
produces weeks,month and seasons
the old year races fast
into the belly of a welcoming past
and a new one is speedily emerging
from the pregnant womb of the morning

as the seasonal cycle procedes
every sunrise brings a day anew
and its dawn signalled another day to renew
may each cycle of days bring you
joy, happiness and strenght to see you through

My Silly Little Love.

My silly little Love,
Is not to far away,
I think about you day by day by day,
My silly little Love,
Your what makes this heart stay a beat,
Pounding, Pounding,
My silly little Love,
You fill in all my blanks,
With out silents without questioning,
My silly little Love,
You sing to me,
And hit all the right tunes,
Makes me giggle,
Oh, How I Love you,
My Silly little Love,
You pull my hair back when it's in my face,
To notice I'm here, For the World to see me,
My silly Little Love,
Tough and strong,
Shows little emotion,
But I know what's going on,
Silly Little love,
You are the One.

A Stain

Each night she goes to bed in fear
Each night a prayer is prayed
For just one night of peaceful sleep
No visit to come her way
Still every night he enters in
He violates her soul
Abruptly leaves this child in fear
A wounded tattered girl
Until one day she’s had enough
His pain she can take no more
She goes to bed and waits for him
To end her broken world
With one wave she cuts away
The life he lives each day
Now in peace she sleeps each night
And all that’s left
A stain

Each day she prays for freedom
Each day she battles on
The day he promised to love and cherish
The day is now no more
With each day she faces fear
From the man she dearly loves
Leaves her in a battered mess
Scarred to face the world
Then came the day she had enough
The fear she could not take
Aimed a gun while in his sleep
One shot would seal his face
Her life is now free from fear
The world she can enjoy
Now in peace she sleeps each night
And all that’s left
A stain

These stories each are similar
The price each paid was death
Two people lived in daily fear
Now live in happiness
Some say the actions
Of these ones
Were drastic steps to take
The bible states
Thou shalt not kill
But help was just too late
Think back the story
Of the cross
Where Jesus bled and died
He shed his blood
To save each soul
For us he paid the price
Sounds like the death
Of these ones
At the hands of ones that feared
Was covered by the rugged cross
Where Jesus paid for sin
For God is love
And each of us
He wants to live in peace
If you doubt
Go to the cross
And you will find
A stain

I Pray For Peace

I pray for peace around the world
Each day on bended knee
So why does such a prayer of peace
Go unanswered, answer me
Its not that God doesn’t hear the prayer
He wants the same you see
God prays for peace around the world
Each day on bended knee
But his prayers remain unanswered
For mankind is deafened to his plea
