Legacy of Arnold Palmer Limerick

Legacy of Arnold Palmer

What a great golfer he had been
At or below par hitting ball in
Always something about Arnold Palmer
You played more steady and were calmer
On day in heaven will see him again.

For My Baby Girl By Dustin J Palmer

As I sit here cold and broken hearted
my life was over before it started.
Until I met this girl that
turned it around, she turned
my frown upside down. This
may sound funny but she is the
love of my life I put down
the knife and started a new life
with my lovely wedded wife.
So as I sit here and cry and I
look to the sky and prayed for
the perfect girl that is my world
God gave me you Briana Lynn
Palmer since you came along I
have been a lot calmer and more
of a staller because you're on my
mind all of the time I see your
face and baby you shine like
my glass of sweet red wine
you're my drug just the way
you love my precious white
dove I swear you fell from
the heavens above when you're
gone my heart bleeds for you
so when you're gone to me
you're really not you're always
in my head. Baby I love you.

My Hubby Dustin James Palmer

My hubby, you see he's so perfect,
Never have done anything wrong,
To him, I write this song.
This song of love,
With a single dove.
My precious Angel,
My whole world, my life, my love, my universe,
My everything, My love for him, well words
Just can't describe it, it's like God gave me a
Precious gift, I am never letting him go, never letting
Anyone else date him, not going to let him marry the
Wrong girl. I love everything about you
My baby! You are better than any other boy in
The world, so just stay with mem as I sing my
Love songs about you. Stay with me Forever~N~Always.
My love, they can't keep me away from you, can't keep me
From loving you, can't keep me from singing about you.
I LOVE YOU! ICH LIEBE DICH!

WOLS EKPHRASIS
Tachiste,blot and stain,spontaneous of
the moment ,like life itself can so often be.
Small scale in composition,compulsive
unrecognised at the time, yet literal and
long lasting, are the memories we see

proliferacy in a pastoral wood

In Memory of My Brother, David Palmer

Never dreamed, it would ever happen that day
My brother would be placed in the arms
Of an angel, taken to heaven to stay

At night, I can look up in the sky
His shiny star, I can see
Shake my head and say, why?
With us, you should be

In reply, I hear him say,
I love you, too, sis
Sorry, so far away
Each of you, I too, miss

Just remember, when you"re down
Look up and you will see me
It will help take away your frown
The happier, you will be

Rip Police Constable Keith Palmer 2017

RIP Police Constable Keith Palmer 2017.
By Stanley Russell Harris
The new mad author

Who shall we bury today?
Who has been taken away?
Not me yet I’m pleased to say.
So I can write these words today!

As we mourn loved ones lost.
Or friends we knew, in days gone past.
Lost to us but not high above!
Where innocents go to be loved.

Cry not more tears, I beg of you.
Remember me as you should do.
The last time you were full of glee.
Remember that time you spent with me.

We mourn a special man today.
Killed on duty policing I say.
Policing outside our country’s Parliament.
Unarmed on duty in these days of torment.

In heaven, he will surely take his place.
Head held high, with no disgrace.
So when we all pass Saint Peter’s gate.
Don’t be surprised to see his face.

Of course off-duty he will not be.
Saint Peter’s gate is so busy.
Yet all who queue to enter there.
Cause no trouble I do declare.

So when we finally do die.
Shake his hand, will you and I.
For he did not die in vain!
At Saint Peter’s gate he is on duty again.

IMAGINATION TAKES HOLD
Like chrysalis asleep,dreaming of
its wings await intellectual recreation
and active benevolence which brings
wisdom & blessedness.Such does
the future promise in the range
of high arts, parcelled out in shades
of pensiveness by the ticking of
the clock as imagination takes
hold and abides in perfection.
Letters of Samuel Palmer 1891

EVERY DAY
Dream the daydream,feel the
poetic in art,a deep glimpse of
landscape,silvering fragments of the
moon through a lattice.Pluck from
memory the rooted sorrow
and embody ideal beauty in a sunburnt
glow.Then rising all besmirched
begin,imitating in detail and
acknowledge momentary phenomena
in continual observation &sketch.
Letters of Samuel Palmer 1891

*A Phrasis is a structured verse where the poet uses selected prose phrases of another writer’s to compile unique poetry therefrom as a tribute thereto, the word phrasis is Greek for phrase.

THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by the enigma so derived
