I am moody, clingy and oversensitive.
It's how I show being dependable.
I'm self-absorbed,but responsive.
That's how I dealt life like a whirlwind.

I'm a woman of strength,
But my strength is my weakness.
Sometimes I can't let go of things.
Sometimes I'm overprotective.

I'm an independent human being,
I love extreme challenges.
But when the rain falls to my face,
I rush like waterfalls in stream.

I am loyal to anyone who appreciates me,
I can make everyone feels good and loved.
I'm a friend you can count on round' a clock.
I can listen to any problem 'bout heart.

Though life is sometimes not even,
I still have power to look up.
Then face the new beginning,
With a huge smile that lasts.

I’m overprotective of my kids; I know that this is true.
But there is a reason why I act, and do the things I do.
I was molested as a child, and still live with the pain.
So if I seem ridiculous, your comments are in vain.
I’d rather them stay innocent, and have fun when they play.
Than live their childhood like I did, afraid of everyday.
Don’t misunderstand my words; my kids aren’t in the dark.
I’ve taught them of the evils in this world from the start.
I want them to be well informed, yet never be afraid.
Knowing they can come to me and never be betrayed.
So if you think I’m foolish for the things I won’t allow.
Just know I do the best I can, it is my solemn vow.

My Love For You Is True

My love for you is true,
For noone else is as special as you,
Ich Liebe Dich My love Anthony James Haniuk.

I can never love anyone or anything but you,
Everyday I find myself Daydreaming about you,
At night I dream about you,
I keep wondering if you are okay,
When I am not with you.

I do my homework, thinking of you,
I finish my homework thinking of you,
My whole life is with you My love.

My love for you is true,
It's as sweet as a rose,
It never dies,
Never wilts,
And is still going strong.

One day I will marry you my love, because noone in this world can even begin to compare to you,
You fill my heart as noone else has,
Noone in this BIG HUGE WORLD can fill my heart as you have.

I can't even begin to think about what would life be like if something ever were to happen between us,
I already know it won't.

My love for you is true.

Yeah I might get Jealous,
A little too overprotective maybe,
But What girl doesn't?

I think this way if you aren't overprotective, and get jealous sometimes,
That they weren't a real girlfriend to begin with.

Dawn the Stalker, Part 3

She devoted her time to poetry and blogs
Addressing his many nonexistent flaws
As if his was the family, being neglected
While she refused to address his rejection
And became something too sad to even mock

You see, Dawn had succumbed to her invective
Unmedicated and overprotective
But of all the wrong things -
The lies about herself she struggled to maintain
And an impossible dream objective

And so, Dawn rots away
Her own twisted mind's slave
Spending time on a man who will never love her
Of whose affections, she is quite sure
While the ones who do care about her are estranged

She thinks only of herself
And ignores her child's wails
Mocks her husband's needs
She is the epitome of greed
And of failing mental health

Her words against him are an inner reflection
Of the emptiness that has become her own life's direction
She gets more repulsive as she pines away
And her husband is tempted to stray
But she thinks he is a fool to her deception

And most of us caught in her narrative live on
While she babbles like a moron
Taking her hate and lies wherever she can
To try and further convict an innocent man
Oh, what a sad old witch, that Dawn!

Drunk On the Couch

I wanna wake up and be blinded be your grin
You spent all your time in my tent
We even ride behind tint just to hide from your friends
But I'm not ashamed of you
I'm focused on changing you
Unchaining you until your heart is free
Don't start with me i know I'm aggressive , overprotective , A drunk brainiac that's so restless
But at night I lay my head where your chest is
Despite all our wrestling
I wanna tell my Bestfriend he can be my best man
I know saying this is so jr high school
But I like you
In prison with my feelings so in my thoughts I write you sweet letters like we should be together
You my Coachella our love is good music
Above the influence but you convinced me to cook for you
I look for you but you no where to be found
I'm not shook because when I needed you you weren't around
I Smile without a doubt but I hate you Because of you I'm drunk on the couch

Emotional Outbreak

A frustration that can cannot be abated,
Knives flashing in the blindingly brilliant Sunshine.
Blood drops spattered across the delicate petals
of white roses clutched in a child's small fist.
horror lances through her body it reacts before her mind does,
all the years of self control suddenly break away,
a woman sits only in a peaceful garden,
not at peace, but thoughts whirling like a deep
malovolent tornado,
as she thinks about the lonely years,
of that little girl that lurks beneath the
surface wanting ,needing, and waiting for
a god to be able to reunite her with now,
her mother, sister, and older loving overprotective brother.

My Brother

In life your my first best friend, the big brother many wish they had, when I felt empty you never let me stay sad. You was always there to catch me at my fall, the best big brother of all, when I was younger an felt scared or had a bad dream you would always wake to my very first scream, when I couldn’t fall asleep at night you’d always check in on me, your the best big brother you see? I never had to worry about who’d I’d call if things went wrong, one dial out an you were right there, as your little sister I’m grateful for all your care, growing up we had some rough patches we had to face, but I knew I always had you to help figure it out, an always believed you were right without a doubt, you protected me as a brother should, an every obstacle you did what you could. Now we’re adults an your still the overprotective brother, I laugh at it all the time when talking to our mother, I’m beyond blessed to have you in my life, an thank you for everything you have done your the best big brother your truly number one.

Father Less Child

Mother knee bending overprotective, strong, sleepless, master of nurture, and idol to child
Father relaxed individual, traveler, never in a weak situation, careless, and has a choice to stick around
Child confused, curious, hopeful, grateful, and has a mother that never let's them down
A strong mother subtract a weak minded man equals a father less child
Father less child with a goal to make mother proud
A father less child tired of seeing mother cry rarely hears her laugh
Child graduates its a victory looks up and hears mother laughter now this would go down in history
Dear mother from your father less child
I know sometimes you frown but I'm glad to be the reason you smile

Let's Hear It

Treasured Moments

School is synonymous with happiness and best friends
That I treasure even four and a half decades
Down the line and we all are still connected
We still become nostalgic about
Sharing tiffins and story telling in lunch breaks
Smuggling the so romantic Barbara Cartland's
And comics in texts books for fair exchange
Yelling and jumping in the throw-ball court
As if fun games were just then or never
Our overprotective teachers and caring nuns
Lined us up under mango trees on river banks
To recite and enjoy the music in poetry
While our eyes were either watching tempting mangoes overhead
Or distracted by the regattas from the Boat Club next door
Bidding farewell to friends and school we entered
Into an adolescent world of freedom encased in insecurities

Nothing Smells Like Heart

overprotective
like ink in a scar tissue
you said I'm stuck in a bad version of a life
and gave me your life mask as a present

now I have an owl in my iris

you've cloak me in aluminum foil
so I can be preserved for later
and settled in the last drawer
to watch patiently how you consume
some other, tender pieces
as my vascular system hinders your digestion

waiting hidden under this metal sheet
through cheap fragrances I'm covering the indications of putrefaction
just in case you decide
to place
one more plate

mine

but you've settled me in the last drawer
where surfaces freeze the most
of our muscles
to the bones

bones become unsteady
a fire whirl has thrown us out of balance

now we're seeking
desperately for solid ground
to lean back
as the option of leaning on one another
is off the table

Protective

protective feelings
remain trapped
within
can't get rid of
overwhelming
urge to run to your aid
even now
even after
these years
of estrangement
I still find myself
feeling
overprotective
over you

Premium Member Sin's Only Strength

Sin's only strength is to blind us to God's love,
Nothing can separate God from His child,
Ego's the choice that allows Satan his day,
Need to control what God thinks is his mainstay,
Grace deemed too easy seems overprotective,
Fantasies we've lost God's love, drive us wild.

Those we blame, block the love we are not feeling,
Though men are sinful, God loves beyond death,
Blood of the Son is the part that's gone missing,
Family ties is what man keeps dismissing,
Efforts to prove our love keep us from healing,
Fearing to breathe we soon run out of breath!

Christian life doesn't belong to a hearer,
Follow Christ humbly, be faithful, be brave,
God is the victor and Satan the vanquished,
Marvel as all but God's light is extinguished,
Seek to serve others; watch heavens draw nearer,
Where's the defeat we once saw in the grave?

Love Or Hate

stand right here in front of me
and tell me that you love me
then follow with you respect me
then follow with you TRUST ME

cause right now it's gone from bad to worse
your shovin me in this hurse
like a game?
I'm just hurt.
it's like your overprotective but at the same time it's worthless
you can't run my life,
but you can sure as hell try
and come close to it.
hate to break it to ya
but im a grown girl,
a grown adult
you have to stop this twirl
that is circling like a merry-go-round!
i can't be sound,
can't be tame
it's no longer a game!
you once said you wanted to have a close relationship,
well guess what,
you're pushing me out,
without even thinking,
in the heat of a moment
and
I'll be gone before you know it
gone before you realize;
that once when we could talk,
once when it wasn't opinionated,
once when you were sincere instead of tuning my heart out
is about to be forgotten,
down a sewage drain,
out the back-door.
Your controlling ways have done nothing but tore
the lining to my emotions,
its ripped, ripped away
and the only way to protect beneath that lining
is to get the hell out.
save my soul before you try to take over it all
ruining the experiences I WANT to have,
you don't get it
you don't want to
and after all of this
even if i surrender over my happiness
it wont be enough,
there will be more-
and with more there will be higher expectations
and lower for others
it's like I have to impress the queen
when all i want back
is you.

Lessons We Are Meant To Teach At Some Point

Were we naive or were we smart?
Were we overprotective or just safe?
Were we in love or horny?

These questions are asked by the “grown ups”,
 the “hags”,
the “just-out-to-ruin-your-lives”,
the people who cared the most for us.

The people who don’t want us making the same mistakes they did.
