Starlings fly at a distance
why do I believe these black beads to be Starlings?
they are so far away
against a powder pink sky her neck
and black bushes of trees stretching long
the black fur of her dress
trailing soft snow
a delicate fringe
then a pause
the break in a song
a blue sky to melancholic black
this is the mood.
The sky is crying tonight
It's tears fall down
Crashing into earth
The cold shards hit the ground
Drenching the world below
Bringing things to life
Letting earth breathe
The sky is done crying for now
So many beautiful things come from tears
Often I heard about the
Stars in the sky at full moon
Staring down at me and you and them
Almost as talking to us
Have I had a moment and gazed
I would have known the
Beauty of it, as the poets praised
With a melody of sound
Of the chirping birds around
The trees beneath my balcony
A splendid thousands prayers
A replica of heavenly beauty
Into the water beneath
A scene thousands of years survived
A thousands more to repeat
It's brighter now and was brighter then
When I had no choice to stare
Years and years I could wait to see
The beautiful sky in front of me
I could lay down here till I breathe my last
I admire when it's present
I want to do it when I'm past
The sky looks like smoke and fire
Boiling from the Southwest
The silhouetted trees seem to be burning
Ablaze from fire in the sky
Roosters are unaffected with the show
Still cock-a-doddling the morning into day
They are joined by one lone crow look-out
Who is letting the others know danger is near
Whitey comes around preening and stretching
For the morning, loosing those joints
While the sky is continuouly changing
From glory to glory while the world moves on
Just like the cat, not even noticing
The spectacular are displayed in the sky
One day in the sky the King will
Come with his display and every eye will see
Now there is a cloud floating carrying
The blaze on it's backside
It is as if the smoke conceals
The blaze just before the blaze explodes
It is as if fierce combustion
Is going to spring forth
Lighting up the world
With a glowing burning sky
The air is chilling me to the bone
For it is damp and cold
Out on the porch at sunrise
Thank you Lord for the few minutes with you and nature
I’ll watch the sky tonight and think of where I’d like to
be. I’ll gaze upon the stars, as stray moonlit clouds drift
high above like dreams.
Steady breezes blow the leaves tonight, as they scrape
and rub against each other, creating the soundtrack of
what once was and what will be.
My body, mind and soul, now as one, I ride upon the
dream filled clouds that float so high above.
I will not rush these moments. I’ll watch the sky tonight,
and gaze upon the stars, and think of
where I’d like to be.
I hope tomorrow, I’ll see my dreams drift
high above on moonlit clouds, but a little bit
closer, and not so far they’ll be.

All the stars rest
Leaving the sky lonely
And to hide does the lunar crest
And the the sun shines only
In on golden rays
A maiden does a waltz
And in the break of days
She suddenly halts
A silence true
as the sky turns blue
The lady of the light
Burns out the night
And starts the day a new
Blustery sky I have read your blotted scroll
Your balmy reams with angry portents roll
A bleary tempest o'er your tranquil plains doth roil
Blackened tenants perch on your billowy shoal
With shutters as dark as night as black as coal
Shading your gilded beams; with menacing shadows troll
From foaming mouths their brackish discharges dole
Stirring your seething pot; bleaching your blithe soul
O'er burnished strand their angry tides stroll
Spewing drops of misery; their boisterous nature to extoll
In thunderous chorus they sound their deafening drumroll
They sear your azure canvas and scorch every silky atoll
Stoke breezes with haunting whispers droll
Oh, blustery sky enfilading torrents seep through every porous hole
spring is here!
spring is here!
proclaimed the cheerful birds,
they sung it up to the sky
so the wind would take there words.
The wind replied "spring is here!"
while he blow a wind so warm,
they where so wrapped up in all there cheer
they didn't see the storm.
the storm crashed agents the sky!
BOOM! CRASH!
they sky began to cry.
BOOM! CRASH!
all the creatures stopped there cheers.
they thought that spring had come,
all there minds where filled with fears
when the thunder played its drum.
a little rabbit ran away
he went home to tell his momma,
he asked her why that sky was gray
she replied "son its Oklahoma."
Barren, sterile sky bleat and sigh
Open your canopy, enlighten our eye
Expose the boundless mysteries that in your realms lie
Reveal your majestic, azure panels on high
Bleed your sappy, snowy cisterns dry
Unmask spirits that in your porous rotunda fly
From your lofty lattitudes carefully apply
Brightly-hued colors that will broadly imply
Beauty and luster to those who your pleated seams ply
Your grand mosaic with hope and promise tie
Bond light and love to uplift hearts that on your fealty rely
Bountiful, beaconing sky so fertile so spry
Shelter our dreams and drown our cry
With our aspiring visions gratuitously ally
Raindrops sparkle any day
Look up the sky for a ray
You may find a rainbow
Enjoy the pleasant Nature's color show
First is Robust Red
Put some jam on your bread
Second is Opulent Orange
Time to have a glass of Tangy orange
Third is Yearning Yellow
Place your books in a row
Fourth is Gracious Green
It comes exactly in-between
Ask your friend 'how have you been? '
Fifth is Beautiful Blue
See the vast sky hue
Sixth is Ingenious Indigo
Say 'See Ya' before you go
Seventh and last is Vibrant Voilet
Thank God! we didn't get wet
If you don't find a rainbow, don't be sad
Wear a smile, we all will be glad!
When you look up in the sky way, way, up there.
What’s the first thing you notice as you start to stare?
Is it the color of the sky that I made so blue?
Or the feel of the wind that I blew on you.
I spoke through the thunder when you heard the boom.
I put you to sleep with the sound of a wind chimes tune.
I’m the one that did it all because I have the clout.
I put the vapors in the air to produce the clouds.
I made a tree grow out an old house way off track.
I made a flower push itself out the concrete through a crack.
Yet my highest beauties went to my lowest desires.
I had to blame it on all of your forest fires.
There’s only one solution so you’d better contemplate.
It’s your pollution that kills everything I create.
When she dresses in her full gown of white
And dances across the starlit sky at night
On sane men’s minds she will play a trick
And convert them into her lunatics.
Farmers will harvest when she abides
She influences oceans, moving their tides
Songs to her glory the wolves will howl
Sinister men, for her will prowl.
Young boys dream of visiting her in space
Mesmerized by her shinning face
Changes in a young girl’s body takes place
When Luna lights the sky with her full grace.
Luna lets you look her straight in the eye
Unlike the other god that graces the sky
But be aware of her influence over you
She can drive you mad and make you play the fool.
the sky is full of gloom
it's heaviness weighs upon the clouds
rain begins to flush out gloom
all over the land
the sky uplifts to a sunny glow
all over the land
rain begins to flush out gloom
it's heaviness weighs upon the clouds
the sky is full of gloom
til the sky uplifts to a sunny glow
Wing flapping on the lake,
geese everywhere you look,
flapping their wings for
all to see.
More geese joining in,
coming down for a fine landing
from the sky to out do one another,
wing flapping, oh what a site.
Cleaning them self in the
clear cold water, then
drying off those beautiful
wings, flapping in air
so loud they are.
In comes one flock of geese,
and there goes another up into
the sky so high, such a buzz
those wings make as they fly
over my head.
Fall days like these are
nice to have such a joy
to watch these fine feathered
friends here at Crown Hill Park.

rainy day after rainy day
the flowers drown in the never ending rain
the sun fights the clouds for attention
the sky so gray
lighting cracking
thunder pounding
what kind of summer is this
what happened to hot days on the beach
and fun in the pool
why is the sky so sad
and crying so many tears
ruining my summer
drop by drop
