Best Moving In Poems
Stars moving in the night
A strange happening, a strange sight!
I watch in trepidation or puzzled freight?
There's something else out there beyond the night.
A cold stillness fills the air
I see them moving now as a pair
They seem to stop dead in mid air
Stars or something else yet unknown?
I see the pair blend into a single moving flare
I see the light change from white to blue
A mist surrounds it, shone by the moon.
The blue light moves away
I know it's not human or of our age
It moves so fast vertically
Disappearing instantly.
The All Blacks, man, are they for real?
They’re faster than the speed of light
Don’t blink, you’ll miss them, they’re surreal
I’m awake, not dreaming, right?
They just left the French for dead
They’re faster than the speed of sound
Eyes in the back of every head
Feet that fly above the ground
What power, what fitness, what on earth
Possesses men to be that fine
What strange goddess gave them birth
What discipline keeps them in line
I sit here gobsmacked, oh my days
I understand now, here’s the crack;
The All Blacks move in mysterious ways
Dark Gods of rugby blessed, in black

I’m packing up my house now.
I’m doing it all by faith.
I’m looking for a house now
No more rent will I have to pay.
This house has served it’s purpose,
Although it was too small.
It was a place of shelter,
After a tremendous fall.
Now it’s time to move on,
No more parking on this day.
I’m moving into a direction,
Because I’m moving in 2008.
As I’m working in my kitchen now,
This is what I see:
A brand new dishwasher and disposal,
No more washing by hands for me.
Hurrying to use the bathroom-before there is a knock.
Two or three will do, all having their own locks.
Four or five bedrooms will compliment me just fine.
I only need the one that I can call mine.
A living-room and family-room too!
My oh my I will not know what to do.
Don’t forget my fireplace to keep me snug and warm.
I know my new house will certainly be a bomb……
Romans 4:17-(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before
him whom he believed, even God, who quickened the dead, and calleth those
things which be not as though they were.
So you thought that I was playing when I wrote this poem.
It has come to pass and the house looks like a charm.
It will be a new beginning and the neighborhood is grand.
On October the 24th the keys will be in my hand....
I will be still renting for a while.
But to us this is Ok.
It will teach us to discipline better.
For our new house is on the way.
