Your love song lapsed into ancient French that April day.
I only understood the words of spring and heartsore
lapsed. Only love and heartsore, I understood your ancient
words of the spring-day song into that French April.
You fabricate my pauses into repetition, silence speaks
of ages strung to rhyme in love’s difficult service
you strung into pauses in service to ages. Fabricate of
love’s repetition, rhyme speaks my difficult silence.
We practice tedium of vows till language breaks apart.
As if art should aim at science, rigorous, quantitative,
rigorous language breaks tedium. Science vows a part of
quantitative practice till we should aim “as if” at art.
Till we lapsed into language. As your ancient ages only
fabricate quantitative French strung to that difficult
practice, science speaks of tedium and understood rhyme.
The spring in service of love’s rigorous vows. April
pauses, heartsore. You and I, apart. If love should aim
my words at day, repetition breaks into silence of song.
I reek havoc on my unsuspecting hosts
hitch a ride on the good cells, then fight
start all sorts of insufferable symptoms
watch them cough and sneeze all day.
I care not, for I have no feelings
wild and unruly, my sole mission is to
make humans hopelessly miserable.
Though I am minuscule and invisible
a mini menace to mankind am I
for I am the almighty VIRUS.

Psychotherapy, micro-bearably.
Pyro-merrily, gyro-herapy,
lots of chatter, bright new ways,
all pointing to one result.
If we are kind to each other,
if we follow our natural loving hearts,
none of these ways or theories
will be needed by anybody.
Be nice. Be kind. Be considerate.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Live as well as you can, by letting others live their way.
Psychotherapy, micro-bearably.
None of it needed if we follow the golden rule.
Micro-Feasting
by Odin Roark
To propagate the dung heap of ignorance,
Is to place on low simmer
A main course of illiteracy.
How festive the chefs of mental starvation
Make the tables of 140-character-feasting,
Luring the gullible
Along with the lazy,
The doltish
And the lost,
To gorge, then purge,
Then ignore the noxious vapor
Of sentience becoming residue waste.
So stirs this caldron of abbreviated ingredients,
Stifling taste buds for savoring delectable elocution,
Reducing vocabulary to bulimic shorthand
And expecting all to join this achromatic work-around.
Hopefully, the language of full syllabic enunciation
Will return with a vengeance,
Sending expression’s drive-by expediency
Into its all too deserving exile.
Consideration pauses in the distance.
One can hear the echoes of dismay,
“Does this mean we’re expected to read…
AGAIN?
I wanna hiding with you and escape
from this moody realm in bathyscaphe
that made from one pea seed or nutshell,
but inwardly this little chamber
must been craftily and exactly
prepared as yacht of Abramowitz,
with precious dine room, cupboard, sofa, nice kitchen,
and others fashion utensils and commodities
protecting gears and comforts setting, -
have you been happy, satisfied and saluted me,
if we are going to trip and dive in depth of joyce and luxuries
in such excellent solitudes
swimming nowhere and everywhere?
I wanna vanish with you in silk cocoon
of mulberry worm,
have gone forever
from all these problems
and hard solved tasks -
jealous, stupidness, side back glances
from this and others world.
I wanna creating own universe personally,
where all have been simple, the best and informal,
boarding the airbus of hollow bean pod
to fly somewhere
there no one to step before us,
diminishing for the tiniest blade of grass
gone to one dust,
fluctuating in Brown chaos,
wrapped to molecule,
absorbed in the cloudily world of atom.
And even punishment in the electron
flying with great speed and for no one known
place in universe
in every instance,
i am gladly received
as get such life and principle of uncertainty existence,
if only you, my dear, have been happy and satisfied
with me in that extraordinarily environment
in micro world of macro love
living nowhere and everywere.

The bigger you mentally are,
the bigger your wishes will be!
calm days oceans fit
dress coastlines in white lace
treacherous... the storm
on the wind it glides
oceans of the south surveyed
albatrosses feed

cross ice bellies down... feet push
water... flight masters
aquatic parrots
puffins come to land to breed
Icelanders eat them
oceans deep smokers
new life evolves... dies when stubbed

babies clubbed to death
great auks... now extinct
flightless... netted then eaten

Micro Aggression
Written: by Tom Wright
7-8-2016
The world suffers from micro aggression,
Seems we’re offended by every little thing.
But we can’t exist in a world filled with bees,
Without occasionally experiencing a sting;
We’re oft offended by the verbiage one uses,
We fret over things that shouldn’t matter.
While people are dying and going to hell,
Mouths release drivel and hurtful chatter.
We all have hurt feelings from time to time,
Through our anger they become revealing.
It’s imperative that we change our paradigm,
Banishing any prejudices we’re concealing.

they will be...
the question...
do we humans want to live...
nature is asking...

MICRO MENACE

People pollute, killing all living life!
When will they understand recycling recovers?
Hopeful, helping some species survive.
Intervention inadvertently stops strife.
Success, still wishful thinking, true,
plastic pollution is, 'catch twenty two'!
Micro menace, plastics one hundred and eighteen years old!

Before the soul left the bed
Whirring of gadgets promised
Earthly pulses and show tunes
As lungs gave out

IN A TIME OF MICRO-IDENTITIES
At my Unitarian Universalist Society
no one is Jane Doe or Jack Spratt anymore!
A person being introduced or referenced for their
political, social or spiritual wisdom, their positive
impact on business, industry, education or community,
inter-faith connectivity or even their potential for
simple friendship and warmth, must be presented and
pre-validated by their ethnicity and race, their religion,
place of origin, their sexual irregularity, behavioral
irregularities, and any number of special pronouns or nouns
that have multiplied like weeds after a soaking late spring
rain or like non-native species of flora or fauna,
imported to address problems both real and imagined,
that have become prolific and invasive, pervasive and
problematic in unintended ways, like the popular new
sport called “daring us to get it wrong”….
These micro identifications give the person being
presented an unnecessary social asterisk that divides our
collective focus, fogging up the intended message, diluting
the joy of engagement, perhaps rendering inconsequential the
reason they are even there!
They are no longer simply folks but a type, a brand, perhaps
another public admonition to check our social attitudes, maybe
scold ourselves a little, and it makes me irritated rather than
appreciative, jaded rather than enthusiastic, somehow
cornered rather than free, a little wary of presenter and
presented, more weary of division, classification and the
perpetually annoying tactics of moral correctitude!
My pronouns, as you can see, are he, him and his, as normal
as water and oxygen in our planet’s biosphere, but more
important are my aspirational adjectives: open, giving and loving,
which admittedly, I’ve discovered, are subject to tidal fluctuations,
my diurnal disposition reaching out and pulling back. But this
disclosure not-withstanding, let the person and the message speak
for themselves like the sun speaks of light and the moon,
like my wife, speaks subtly in phases about sunlight at night!
Let our penchant for insight and moral validity allow us
to determine if speaker and word bring us clarity and truth,
encourages our efforts to find ourselves in each other in this
reckless adventure we call humankind!
