Win Lose Draw

God and The Devil sat counter
over whiskey at the boardroom table,
to negotiate the terms of her surrender;
no real surrender materialised,
but the battle-lines were re-drawn,
albeit imperceptibly so.
The value of the chattel
will not be agreed,
the meaning of defeat
almost as meaningless as winning,
but for the stroking of the battered ego,
chattel’s value unknown.
I sat with God and The Devil
at the blood-stained boardroom table,
they specified the terms of my surrender
and erased the day of my resistance;
the surrender was real and assured,
I haven’t heard from them since.

Understar Understand

Avant Garde declarations of flawed misunderstanding
Ethereal hand's star cast thought's scattered materialised being
From under stones crept
To kindle fires of imagination's spawning grounds
Turned over in tumultuous caverns of repressed understanding
Unbound suddenly as spring leaves answer a sun's call from a hundred light years distant
Feeling crosses dread chasms with invisible bridges having no descriptive language to flaw their being
Under stars knowing by being under stars
Become my brothers outside of time's fantasy born gasp
My eyes know you over centuries in microseconds
Depth forgotten I reach out to hold you in my palms
And for a fleeting heartbeat's moment I hold a universe in my arms
Nails scratching a ceiling of light
The earth beneath me rises to a firmament's elemental haven
Drawn to sky alive
Laying inside the space between
Brink of countless worlds
Mirrored on grass by ancient paths
By fire cast by fire's hand
Kalimba tones underline music's word of finger etched peace
White flower in fields of midnight silver
Glowing through memory screaming parallel truths
Searching through countless lifetimes for bridges
A path to close the gap
I found it in the mirror's face
Dark lakes of highland dreams touching skin to a traveling gleam
Still pools on ancient roads holding timeless light
Reached out again for star's caress
Soul communication's shout
You are the bridges
Minds of walking life
Our transience quantified
By wandering stars

Uncle

little color for facade
and everything is going to be ok

let's put a makeup to the toothless dwarfs

on the podium
painted cow's head
for decoration – everything is ready

TONIGHT THEY ARE EATING DWARFS

I think that I'm autistic
if I'm not
I'll become one
(as the only way they will stop touching me)

I don't like touches
they are glassed
like that time
when he died
vanished
he is gone
and they are touching me

I'm screaming
(It can't be heard)

they have achieved sound isolation by bandages
(so it can't be heard)

I'm screaming
(you can't hear it)

aquarium in the kitchen
has earned a criminal offense
according to the feng shui law

he is guilty for selection of cheap coffin
(when money is in question, punishments are always high)

for an INTRO it was perfect
5 minutes of staring to the fish until you start feeling dizziness
perfect INTRO
for making innocence
(all situations are cheap)

let's make a settlement
cheap
tapping fingers on the table
3 to 12 ... cheap
tapping fingers on the table
3 to 12 ... cheap
easy math for hard lesson

The early hours of dawn had just shown themselves
And I was still lost deep in the forests of slumber;
There where calming and peaceful waves roll by
Allowing me no chance to overthink and to be thus,
Overanxious, for submerged in this type of magic
I can only become a mermaid lapping joyfully around!

But then, the world of lucid dreaming, so like a game
Of immersive virtual reality pushed me to a place
Where I would receive instruction, from the most
Beautiful powers that pervade this world; that of the
Mother Goddess Herself!

The place was silent, still, chillly and laden with an air
Of divine importance
I was hushed, groomed and brought to the entrance
Of a temple standing below a huge mountain by beings
Who looked like celestial guardians;
Then, I was brought in front of the Goddess who told me
That my love story with the one she had willed me previously
Would be over by the time July would show itself!

She gave no reasons for same, no explanations, only
Plain instructions and then I was brought out of the temple
Where I opened my eyes to realize that I was in fact,
In my own bed!

I did not understand the message at the beginning
And I just shrugged it off as a mere whim,
A tantrum of my own mental senses,
But then the dream materialised itself in ways
That I could do nothing about other than
Watch them unfold and letting myself go through them!

The fact that we humans are connected to the skies
Is not a mere old tale, to be talked about when
The conversations have gone down,
Rather,
It is our whole purpose, our meaning and our sense
Guiding us through the murky waters that we wade through!
The reason we have birthed remains a question mark over
Our heads,
However, we should never forget that we are connected
To that which bid us be!

Of more messages do I await,
Hoping to be thrust on the right path
So as to receive smiles and words of grace,
Someday, when I shall meet with this power,
In the world not known to humans!

The Raven

Initiated by a fairy tale
of elf hobgoblins who lived in a dale

Jack Robbins stayed alert throughout the night
Sat looking through his window by moonlight

He saw his swing hanging from the oak tree
Without a breath of wind, slowing moving free

Then a black shape materialised
Forming into a bird before his eyes

Motionless the boy and the bird form stared
Jack opened the window, far as he dared

To throw a piece of his leftover toast
Then quickly shut it again, a brave boast

He then retrieved his book of "Birds of Prey"
From under the shelf of his chest display

Flicking through the entries he found a crow
No, not that one, he had to know

A centrefold he then came across
Unfolding it, there saw a raven embossed

He read the description from word to word
Shuddering, a feeling came, making him scared

Turning to see the window open wide
The raven with flapping wings now inside

Then as the bird advanced Jack backed away
What was it doing here to eat or play

Noting it's sleek black head and twinkling eye
He espied his cricket bat was nearby

Defending himself he struck the first blow
Raven screeched loudly, which way would he go

A silent scream Jack could hardly make to do
The bat thrown wildly, followed by his shoe

As the dawn's light slowly filled Jack's bedroom
Jack opened his eyes to see room festooned

Black feathers were all scattered here and there
Recalling last night's events was just a blur

He did not remember the raven's call
No raven found, just bird tracks in the hall.

Tropical Heats

Iron grips of discipline is strained.
Heats of the moment is sparsely contained.
Powers are overlooked in childish innocence.
Tolerance is not for mockery from aberrance.
Simmering hope and openness of freedom.
Alas, who can stop these steps to martyrdom....
Hearts are wrenching breathlessly in treason
To the stern mind ever destined to reason.
Shivering soul hugs the heat of its own cage
while cool dumb sheets bear frustration of rage.
Waves work overnight to convey words
and unfortunate hearts solve but crosswords!
Sure, it’s never eternal as eternity is abstract
And the heart often knows this bare fact.
Pack it all... emotions in depth of dark grooves!
Time now for a move as conscience proves,
Once again, rule is for a world that materialised.
Insensitive to tyranny that penalised.
Everlasting game; subduing the essence of humanity
while unscathed, it strives to stand in its own dignity!

Note: This poem came upon inspirations derived from my stay with international delegates in India and my wonderful exchange of customs and culture.

Premium Member Macadamia Determinism

'If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door'
                      Milton Berle

Outstretched clever Macadamia tree
Bears talents of both Mama and Papa
Fruit materialised due to insect interlopers
Dangled able honey hundred raceme

Languished beneath its branched limbs
Belonging to this land and each other
Our dream developed entity envelopes
Steadily relishing everything which comes

Impediments proffered excuses to resist
To remain staid, refrain from addendum

Instead choosing skyline over stagnation
Sacrifices made to subsume wider merits
Beholding splendour of shade waved bracts
Combined courage brought bountiful outcome

Prospect extends with each Summer harvest
Macadamia Mama Papa caretaker provides
Canopy which oversees posterity of centuries
Husk crack reveals creamiest tongue rolled gems

Premium Member The Truth in Time

Materialised out of t’ foggy whorl.
Most people have speculated without fail
from whence shores or dimension you have hail’d.
They agreed upon: You’re out of this world!

A temperament like Mercury hurled.
I’m a master in the art of stonewalling.
I couldn’t help but irrevocably falling
for you as my bridled passion unfurled.

You don’t possess the beauty o’ Saturn’s rings.
Idyllic days under Neptune blue skies.
I wouldn’t exchange this time for anything
in heaven or on earth– that is no lie.

The truth and morning become light with time:
True nature of Epona is sublime.

Moving On

Moving on is what they all want to do,
But the victims can't because they are too traumatised,
Or their bodies too damaged,
Maybe even worse, with all contact in this world severed.

The parents of both victim and perpetrator too desensitised,
With too many questions unanswered,
And lack of sleep leaving them broken and demoralised.

The perpetrators may seem pleased,
With no consequences formalised,
But with no help for getting over what materialised,
While taking drugs and alcohol unsupervised,
There is little hope of them being satisfied,
When, if they have not overdosed,
Or spun out while driving disqualified,
They find they have reached an age that makes them terrified,
That jail will be specified.

The police are mortified,
That the rules prohibit any solutions being applied,
Which means no one involved,
Is able to move to a place where sleep is uninterrupted.

Meanwhile those selling the drugs that the waters muddied,
And those who see no harm in shifting the focus to health related,
With no thought being debated,
About the fact that those selling the drugs are not interested,
In their health being bettered,
As they make a killing out of lives being shattered,
Are moving us all to an even darker place, that is more blood splattered.

Are we that unimaginative,
That we cannot find a way to use our initiative,
And find ways more positive,
So, more of us can live,
Without taking drugs more prescriptive,
For our sleep to be less disruptive.

Take Me Away

Take me away from myself
where I can breathe
no smoked refinery air,
somewhere else.

I cast a lonely wish
to be someone else
possessed of life

it never materialised.

I cry an empty shell,
mouthing, moving in circles,
decreasing as I radiate
never to brush the shore.

Let my sweat lie upon you
one more secret time,
sacrifice my heart,

I court fulfilment.

Turning blind eyes
snaps me, breaks my heart,
turning away

I die.

Premium Member Illumined Intent

Pure intent, by love energised
Destiny materialised
Power of our co-creation
Our heart’s desires soon realised

We start with purification
Ending doubts of separation
Becoming still before release
Of potent reverberation

Love caress playful, is at ease
Manifests as heart does so please
Mindful that seeds of joy sown grow
Enlivened by soul spawned bliss breeze

In the same domain as I released several days ago
A magpie with foot caught in wooden mouse trap
Aves my baby is a Saviour, her soul beauty a show

Freedom breadth materialised in blessed moment
Limping gives way to delivery, staid cage collapsed
River snake jaw compels ocean, propels hope that
Latitude comes upon compiled memory's sure flow

Broadsword my boy taught firm ethics keeps pride
Strength activated matures to be a bold protector
Man of moral multitude, by vital sacrifices inspired
A A B expands her brain, guards precious treasure
Chaste of spirit assists needy, heart always in tact

Premium Member Alchemy of Our Attention

Alchemy of our attention
Bubbles forth as heart’s creation
Materialised here on earth
Both union and separation

From birth to death and then rebirth
We choose abundance or dire dearth
Enacting the play, in dream state
Save souls given to playful mirth

Once our heart is cleansed, pure and chaste
Easy, breezy becomes life’s gait
We be to become, living light
Bliss drenched love, that does not abate
