Tropical Heats
Iron grips of discipline is strained. Heats of the moment is sparsely contained. Powers are overlooked in childish innocence. Tolerance is not for mockery from aberrance. Simmering hope and openness of freedom. Alas, who can stop these steps to martyrdom.... Hearts are wrenching breathlessly in treason To the stern mind ever destined to reason. Shivering soul hugs the heat of its own cage while cool dumb sheets bear frustration of rage. Waves work overnight to convey words and unfortunate hearts solve but crosswords! Sure, it’s never eternal as eternity is abstract And the heart often knows this bare fact. Pack it all... emotions in depth of dark grooves! Time now for a move as conscience proves, Once again, rule is for a world that materialised. Insensitive to tyranny that penalised. Everlasting game; subduing the essence of humanity while unscathed, it strives to stand in its own dignity! Note: This poem came upon inspirations derived from my stay with international delegates in India and my wonderful exchange of customs and culture.
