Best Materia Poems

Desayuno

Halo matutino en barro
Depresivo estanque nutricional
Epidermis en amontonamiento
Particular
Escasean; segunda capa
Cableado óseo para tomar
Ligero desvarío perceptual
Deshebra leguaje colegial

Frontal olímpico
Sin dejar de ser materia potencial
Los peces vuelan mejor en estrechos
Posibilidad
Entre espacio gramatical

Pasillo curvo
A punto de fuga
Cascada lo no usual
Riel fijo, se encorva; octagonal
Barbarie sensorial

Extensión de personalidad figurada
Perversión física legal
Ilegible pulso sobre planos
Odisea en cuchara de caucho

Último punto navegable
Sur cenital al salir
Retorna al puerto matinal
Cuadrando patrón monarca
Infinidad

Northern Light

I take a deep breath
My lungs are burning
The air is like ice
Making my skin feel numb
like it is no part of me anymore
A last bit of warmth lies deep inside of me
But it is slowly fading away
The arctic sky above
Makes me feel so insignificant
In awe I watch
Shimmering colors
Ever changing shapes
Waves of beauty
Rearranging and reinventing
Toxic, glowing materia
Clashing against an invisible shield
I take down my armor
And expose myself
I trust you not to hurt me
How long will it last
How long will it feel good
Before you consume me
Kill every cell of my body
Will I be able to turn away
Or will I keep looking
Can I protect myself
Do I want it to stop
Or is pain better than nothing
Was it a lie
A self created illusion
Was is my fault
Will i ever learn
This dancing sky
Is mesmerizing
I should go inside
And lock the door
Start a fire again
And slowly feel the warmth return
Or I just lie down in the snow
and look up to you
As a tear runs down my cheek
I fall into an eternal sleep

Not Convinced and Blistering In the Flame

Gray Materia

a silent silver colored bundle of everything that makes up what it is exactly that
sparks inside the greater ramifications of every single solitary movement & moment
coming upon the turning self within/without &
brown when living inside,
the CNS comprised of
dendrites, neuronal cell bodies,
the glials & the capillaries---
administering & governing
the brain, the muscles,
seeing, speaking, hearing,
all emotional facets,
all memory &
the perception of senses,
the grey matter comes down to the
nitty
gritty
of things---
churning, clicking, purring, humming,
manufacturing all reality within the experience of
being alive,
at the mercy of this matter we
wait,
walking & completely oblivious to the
universe within us---
and though they say we lose it with age,
we pump ourselves full of omega3’s,
do katz’s Neurobics, fill our lives full of
new subjects, new instruments, a new language,
a new route to work, a new book, a new film,
a new friend, a new joke, a new moment
right now to enhance our capacity to live longer with a
stronger ability to
remember.

Creatio Ex Materia

Eternal
or
nearly so.
We see
what we
see.
Nothing more.
We
speculate
on the
rest.
Vastness
beyond
our world,
unfathomable.
Universe to
multiverse
to eternal,
or nearly so.
Universes
budding
one from
another.
Never ending!
How long?
First one,
how long
ago?
Googolplex years,
perhaps
more.
Essentially
“Alway was,
always
will be”
