Premium Member Lonely Lighthouse

The Smeaton Eddystone's architecture
First lighthouse protecting navigators
Light blinking, pulsating, luminously
Loud foghorn resounding resonantly
Guides shipwrecked mariners vigilantly
Or swarthy seafarers incessantly
On oceans perilous, tempestuous
A sailor’s salvation eternally

Premium Member Drifting

The young boy woke up floating, effortlessly above
his own little, living, breathing, body
that could be clearly seen below
with his own intangible eyes,
drifting…
as if he were a concealed cloud or Zephyr wind
suspended within
the borders of his bedroom walls.

A sky full of galaxies and stars
were luminously enticing and inviting him
beyond the curtains and outskirts of his window
as he wondered what it might be like
to let go of his attachments to
the familiar, sleeping boy in bed,
his mother, father, family, friends,
and plastic airplane models he had
recently assembled, painted and placed on cluttered shelves
along with Mark Twain story books and seashells
around his azure blue painted
boyhood bedroom cocoon.

It was all he could do to keep from drifting through
the beckoning window, the ceiling or watchful walls
leading upwards and outwards toward some place
he thought he knew well enough
to call "Home Sweet Home" and yet,
something akin to nothingness suddenly surrounded
this new-found phantom, ghost-like, being
curiously whispering and causing him to realize
it was not yet time for him to fly and instead,
decided to surrender and reenter
that other boy's body, brain, and mind
still lying there in bed.

Before awaking to the warming glow of glorious,
Sunday morning sunlight beams and wondering,
if floating weightlessly above himself
was as real as chocolate ice cream
or nothing more than another delirious dream.

Premium Member Christmas In July

July is the month of monsoon rains in our part of the land when there will be incessant downpour and flooding in coastal areas and low lying lands

In the vast expanse up so high,
In the caliginous July night sky,
A lone star trailed along from Heaven’s arch,
And through hindering clouds it did march.
Its lambent rays dancing in gleeful light,
Making everything luminously bright.
All starlets cowered in shame,
Hiding in corners, fearing blame.

It got stationed above a thatched manger,
Where baby Jesus lay swaddled in rags in rainy weather
Promising the gift of love and joy to mankind
Assuring everyone salvation and peace of mind.

The wind that blows is icy chill
Freezing cold is the water of the rill
Trees stand washed in rain
The sky, in greying clouds remain

Lights from nearby houses shine
Sending out a radiance divine
Christmas trees stand finely decorated
Cribs are colourfully illuminated
Stars and festoons can’t be hung in the open,
As in pouring rain, they may be broken.
July is not a month fit for the king to take birth,
Who has come to bless the world with cheery mirth

Yet, the whole land is vibrant with festivity.
The pouring rain hasn’t doused the gaiety.
Sunshine or rain, no matter the weather,
Friends and family are happy together.
Christmas wraps every heart in cheer,
Though it falls in July, the rainy month of the year!

Premium Member The Hour of All Hallow's Eve

Restless ghostly night,
      whilst full moon hangs bright
         drench in yellow with fright.

The hour of All Hallow's Eve
      has chimed like a venal thieve;
all in wild frenzy they leave.

A shrill whistle in the distance
      behest by spirits persistence
and wicked witches on broom assistance.

Those brave to be out in the dark,
stumble in their steps they mark,
as lanterns in trembling fingers spark.

   Twilight soul into burnt cinder
      shadows and ghost linger,
         as cowering frightened dogs whimper.

   Luminously yellow eyes blaze,
      of the alluring vampire's gaze,
in the dark a hypnotic maze.

   Goblins, gnomes, and black fairies
      dance around blood-red berries;
         a chilling ritual mummeries.

   Standing in the moonlight there,
a few feet from toadstools; a pixie pair,
         merry tricksters everywhere.

Waxen daylight creeps across the sky,
arise a yawn from sneaking dawn nigh.
Gone, in a wink All Hallow's Eve cunning and sly

Premium Member One Red Leaf

Saw one blazing red leaf on the shimmering Maple,
On my way back from a refreshing stroll,
One Red Leaf - indicated the stark truth,
Fall is tiptoeing with her secret footsteps,
                             Luminously veiled autumn not far!
Spotted a flock of migrating Geese gliding by -
                            Are they already departing? Where?

                              Ravishing crimson Roses beaming
On the bush besides the wooden fence,
A few sad dried petals sprawl dejected at the bottom,
Redbreast Robin in euphoria, still crooning full-throated,
Fleecy warmth of air fleeting away, are birds aware?
Truly intoxicated with the aroma of sunshine,
Even for a moment, do not stop trilling at each other!

Iridescent layered floating clouds, a watercolour painting -
Each one speaks celestial bliss to me,
Mauve and scarlet, amber and crimson - intriguing shapes
All mixed in a gorgeous whirlpool,
Inspire ecstatic rhapsodies in my spirit,
Topaz waves when they break on the wide sandy shore
                                         With thunderous roars.

White-petalled Lily, the final quiet visitor to the garden!
Tranquil and serene, peaceful and mellow,
As if in a pensive meditation,
                               Exhilarating celebration over for now,
Crispy, chilly, wind waltz with twirling leaves,
I smell scintillating autumn fluttering and frolicking,
Spiralling, swirling in the golden sunset breeze.

Through the slightly parted drapes
Moon light enters my bed room,
To chase darkness away
Everything is still and silent
I drive all my anxieties away,
Letting the silence of the night in

So fair is the night,
So lovely lies the firmament
I see the moon, stars and galaxies
All luminously set on display
The universe brims with the enormity
Of unfathomable wonders and mysteries

I see God the mastermind behind them all

Dwelling in that serene silence of solitude
A deific discernment dawns in me,
With the affirmation that the universe
And everything in it is a single living entity
Shackled by the unbreakable thread of love.....
And all men of caste and color, one single tribe!

Soon a vibrant blissfulness overwhelms me
I levitate on wings surreal
Leaving the mundane world behind

I Want To Be....

I want to be a star
So high and so far
Always shining in the dark
knowing with her light where you are

I want to be a star
Always around the smiling moon
Doesn't matter if Full, or half
I'm shining there even when it's gone

I want to be a star
You look at me with wondering how
Your sad eyes turned to true pleasure
You forgot about your pain somehow

I want to be a star
Always dazzling in the night sky
Dancing there with the hiding stars
That can't be seen with your eye

I want to be a star
Always shining luminously
Always looking at you from far
And getting her love from you impressively

“Fear not the legendary vampires, but dread the vampires living among us, thirsting for blood!” ~ By Poet

Vampires sleep by the day and fly by night.
They are afraid to come out in to light.
They feed on human blood.
Their lips are scarlet red.
Their flaming eyes are luminously bright.

Vampires dance in the pale glow of moonlight.
Return to their graves before break of light.
They cause such severe dread.
They are souls of the dead.
Ooze out blood and leave the victim to blight.

The Moon-In-The-Man Waxes Lyrical With Nary a Word

Kenny is suddenly,
 Luminously, animated;
with a grin that could crack a safe!
He whistles to get your attention,
then beckons you over
to the parted curtains.

He has something
to share with you.
This is not the usual,
insular,
self-absorbed Kenny.

MoonMan MoonMan
what is it you see?
 Can you read the secrets
of the telling Moon?
MoonMan MoonMan
Show me! Tell me!

This is Moonstruck Kenny.
Touched by Moonpower.
Captivated by Moonpower!
Ecstatic about Moonpower!

He’s made a “lunar-landing”
and he wants you to be “there” too.
Lunatics-in-arms we become,
 in awe of this celestial
visitor peering into
the room from on high.

MoonMan MoonMan
what is it you see?
 Can you read the secrets
of the telling Moon?
MoonMan MoonMan
Show me! Tell me!

The Moon’s pull is irresistible.
Kenny’s pull is irresistible.
And so you succumb,
temporarily mystified – delving within
for ancient knowledge about basic things;
the rhythms of the sky-dwellers.
Knowledge longlost since we insulated
ourselves from
 and against
 The Elemental.

Yet Kenny has not lost The Wonder.
Kenny is over The Moon about The Moon.
He beams a crescent-shaped smile
that’d make even The Man-in-the-Moon
green with envy.

MoonMan MoonMan
what is it you see?
 Can you read the secrets
of the telling Moon?
MoonMan MoonMan
Show me! Tell me.

Kenny is the Moon Man.
He is The Moon-in-the-Man
Just like The Moon, Kenny has phases.
He waxes and wanes as do we all.
But…just now…yes, you catch just a glimpse of it…
Kenny is illuminary!
And you bathe in the light of his delight!

MoonMan MoonMan
Show me! Tell me!

Futurist Singings

Oh sing exponentially sing
  vague ting-a-ling-a-tinglings

singest singing
ring a ring ringing
     lifeless lives lost luminously
singing songs serenely safely

Enchanting Night

Staring up onto the midnight blue
So enchanting and divine
Oh, how I feel alone and lost
I only have the stars in the deep sky
To light my way
A cool breeze blows by
The moonbeam shines luminously
The stars glory their inner shine
they twinkle here and there
the loneliness flies away
the bright stars light my way

Lovely Lily

Time laughs as she looks luminously red
In my longish love-pot looking gorgeous
Rich nature has so fondly invested
Her with marine beauty so infectious

At morning she beautified my garden
With her softly reassuring pink grace
At noon my white lily is quite ardent
At evening oranges come on her face

Maddeningly red lily she is now
Crimson murmur firing sparks from Venus
I am not sure of my art as to how
To hold you tonight for a trip to Mars

Lovely perfume frees all birds of frisson
Getting me inside the clouds from ocean

The Vessel of His Life

Quell not the hearts of man,
But open your heart, let the sunshine in.
A drunkard with sunlight he was,
Right to the end.
Stealing your affections,
But not meaning to offend.
Grand vexations he was,
Luminously portraying a cloudy existence.
Soaring into an atmosphere above life and understanding,
Calling upon ancient idols,
As if morning doves courting life,
A flicker of pleasure,
But not to show weakness
A gallows to be his fate,
As he dreams of the language of flowers and other mute things.
For they give off the answers of life,
Like chatting with the clouds,
While gathering divine honors,
Crested upon the purest essence,
That blaze a trail to his heart.
Pain is the only nobility beyond the clutches of earth and hell,
Clear and easy to understand,
While mounted on strong winds toward serene and luminous fields,
Apathetic fellow travelers close behind.
Pleasures in the night forgotten, never to be unleashed again,
Riding out the storm in his ocean of peril,
Never knowing where he will end,
But in a pillow of perdition,
While deepest feelings for someone clandestine with pleasure.

A commander of the vessel of his life.

Supernova

A light from another system
Sits effortlessly in the world
The light which emits much joy
That which burns like a torch
        In those savvy

The light lifts luminously
Those with even a passing glance
And even more so
If one can have the chance

Even one night
In the city of lights
Beside the bright light
Affects those touched, forever

I know the light
I spent time with the light
It shone in me
Relit my sorry wick
Which was snuffed in a manner most cold

What can I say about a light
That is, was, and will forever
be burning in me
As long as I can shine
She will shine as a heavenly orb
In my heart of hearts

Even though I must part
I will not wear a sullen heart
For I spent one and many eternal nights
With the light that shines so bright

The Sun and the Moon

During the day the sun owns the sky
Like a piece of solar citrus leaking
Radiant bliss
That meets my skin with a warm kiss from on high
Seated alone in a turquoise throne
It greets me as I step from home
It brings the dawn
And fades at dusk
Brushing buildings in a golden dust
It has an ancient kind of flare
Many empires pass beneath its glare
It is brilliant and blinding
To any who stare
And it is to be honest
Quite pretty, quite fair
But as empires rise so they must fall
And to the moon it must be also fair
With the passing day and changes in the air
It will slowly come to abdicate the chair

Overtaking the shores of a sky navy blue
And switching over to evening hue
The black sea of twilight comes rising in the night
And the change of kingdoms comes true
In this sea of perpetuality
Floating luminously, is the moon
Rubbing its glow softly into a land subdued by shadows that have stitched into a garment of gloom
White like porcelain
And pockmarked by craters
It hovers hauntingly above the Earth,
The sun has its signature glee
But the moon brings a different mirth
A beacon of magic
It sits above
Enchanment gleaming from its face
With its rising in the heavens
The world feels like a much different place
There's mystery in shadows
And wonders above our heads
Life in our cities
And dreams in our beds
In me I feel a likeness
That puts me in a ruminating mood
Its lone face rippling on the water
A reflection of solitude
