A Happily Ever After Marriage

There once was a poet extraordinaire,
Who composed sweet poetry with great care.
She wanted to find true love.
So, she prayed to God above.
He swiftly answered, “Sweetheart, you must forbear.”

Forbearance was her lonely heart’s nightmare.
She was a passionate woman with flare.
Singing in a high octave.
Counting petals of foxglove.
She drank martinis alone in her lair.

A brilliant mind with hope and a prayer,
Resting her head on a lonely armchair.
Praising spirits up above,
She heard Ron’s voice, cute white dove.
Alas, she found him…marriage…love so fair.

Us Two?

Fill this lonely darling
take this void and Ill mend yours too
We walk on opposites sides of this road
  aimlessly spacing out sidewalk gazing
our feet shuffle apathetic to the directions we're headed

A lovely thought-these streets meet and there you are....
your eyes shine the neglected light my mirror knows so well
A smile forces its way across your face
Mine is there too and now there is a feeling of two

A hand in mine~~ our steps seem certain...
talking as we go-the direction is toward one another
The breeze blowing gentle wafts the scent of your hair
---and here I realize my senses are returning
As our lips touch, you gasp-knowing the same...
If forever is a fairytale that no love would ever see
...lets take our time now and weave it into eternity

This soul is searching for one as bruised but resilient as mine
....yours is seeking a partner in this trying lonely time
Lets you and I join as one and walk stronger than before
A force the world will coldly walk upon no more
....soothe my scars, and wrongs, and pain
....I'll shatter the walls those things have done to you
....We'll be cleansed in this night walks rain
               ....no more wondering lonely souls....
                    Just us newfound blissfull two

Love Is You

It never comes across my mind
That you're here to be with me
I've been waited a long time
A love like this since you here
And finally I have you in my arms

Together we'll face beautiful days
Don’t listen to what they might say
Just swayed them with your genuine
And stunned them with your love

You are here to brighten up my lonely dreams
I will hold you tight with my love
I will never let you go away
And I promise you dear
This love is only yours

It used to be me and this weary life
But then you begin to give me hope
And now it will never feel the same again
Coz' the love is you, an angel that I need

You are here to brighten up my lonely dreams
I will hold you tight with my love
I will never let you go away
And I promise you dear
This love is only yours

Missing You

Tears on my pillow,
Withered roses in my notebook,
My empty mail,
My bloodshot eyes,
My cold lips wanting for the warmth of yours,
My shivering spirit hungry for your caress,
My lonely days,
My sleepless nights,
My heart’s stitches,
My empty soul,
My lonely valentine,
Wish you were here.

Afterglow Fades

We dance the same old dances but we're wearing diff'rent shoes
long and lingering habits are the hardest ones to lose
decisions left to me are choices I can't bear to choose
when echoes from inside of me are someone else's news.

The flames of passion quickly rise, and quickly they descend
A poet's life in empty pages and a broken pen
I'm scarred forever from the wound you caused that just won't mend
I hide deep down inside the ship of tears I cannot rend.

The ticking clock of Chronos passes time as I move on
in measured differences the distance half takes twice as long
still I sing the lonely notes off key to fav'rite songs
remembering the warmth to which my lonely heart belonged.

What can I do when my dreams come true, but aren't like I planned,
what have I done to lose the one that I held in my hand ?

Share the Same Moon

It is Christmas time my love, you are not here,
am feeling so lonely in this house without you near.

I can feel your pain my love though the distance is far,
but don’t you see if you look to the sky we see the same stars?

The kids have all moved, our friends are all gone,
nothing seems pretty but for the snow on the lawn.

Love I wish I were there to wipe away your tears,
sing you a song, hold you close, and comfort your fears.

It has been so many years now since you have passed,
feeling so lonely I’m not sure how long I can last.

Look above to the heavens, we share the same moon,
stay strong in our love we shall be together again soon.

Jew #3

I know somewhere before I die I must see you again
And take your hands in mine, and let you touch my lips
With joy. Sometimes in wild torrents, sometimes in drips
Memory comes here naked in the broken light of pain
Sometimes I say serai, serai; sometimes I blame me
I lost it all on a pole of innocence, upon a bloodless tree
But always still a fawn illusive in this forest stalks me
The stain of love upon my heart gives me high visibility
I cannot outrun, I cannot hide
The fawn is a brash, young bride
And up and down the hot hill side
Its horn is pointed at my pride.
Go dream, go away, go O coming time of coming sorrow
O lonely time when forever must leave before the other
One of us, hopeless in a gray and so lonely old tomorrow
To go, to go is to forget forever, yet I would not rather
Until somewhere before I die I am made glad to see again
The fawn suddenly still, trembling in the hot tropic rain
And the stag long wounded is delivered from its gray pain
And the tide and the sands of the beach flow over us again.

Lonely But Not Alone

To all the lonely people, I must relate

My heart is heavy, because of your fate

I, too, much like you, held that emptiness for a few

But as time wore on, the answer I knew

The story is the same, for a thousand will claim

That special one, into their life did they come

And when time past and they had their fill

You Lonely soul were the one to spill

With eyes welled up, and tears overflowing

You pondered life's existence, without him phoning

Now in your mind, there is nothing more

But pain and anguish, that's piercing your core

I feel your pain, and it shall wane

But what your going through, all the same

Do not regret, and do not fret

Just try to ignore, that internal war

Now 2bpositive have I sworn

Till the day that I die, to no more mourn

And to my fellow souls clothed in flesh

It is to you I extend my hand to refresh

In final sum, after all having been said

It is you my dear, that have nothing to dread

Another sad soul, looking for another

Replacing that loss, and to once again call Lover....
