it seems in just the twinkling of an eye
life passes by
and one's left at the brink
with time to think
before the fall
into the great abyss
where did time go?
For some, life is short
for others, long
But the years don't count
Nor do the hours
It's the moments which capture eternity
You can live a lifetime in a moment
and face death happy and proud
for eternity has been tasted and lived
Cowardice kills
Bravery lives
Be brave enough to follow your dreams
Don't settle for second best
Mediocrity weighs you down
numbs and suffocates
Cling to your passion
Blaze in its flame
be honest with your soul
in that bid to be whole...
BE HONEST WITH YOUR SOUL!
When you deny your soul
you start to die
Above all....
LOVE
with PASSION
as if this were the last time
your lips were to taste
desire's embrace

Love
Love is the sum total of life
if you have loved

I recently showed some photos to my class of a young man in his twenties who lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis. His sister is my daughter's age, and once when she visited Cyprus, I took her and my daughter and another friend out. She loved me and added me on Facebook. I've followed her brother's journey with avid interest and pain. Her younger brother has cystic fibrosis as well, and her husband has it. He recently had a lung transplant...and for a time, Hannah didn't know if he would make it to the wedding. So much pain in her life. I've recently shared on FB at her request, a site where people can make donations to raise awareness about Cystic Fibrosis. My heart aches for her in her time of mourning. We complain about insignificant things, when all Ben wanted was to be able to breathe free and LIVE!!!
What is life? The Bible says that it's like a flower...here today and gone tomorrow. We complain...about so many things...not realizing that every day we live is a gift that's not guaranteed to many. We need to cherish those who matter. Live life to the full. Find and grasp happiness. LIVE LOVE....LOVE! :) That's the sum total of life.
Life is short and time goes fast
And so, before you know it,
The future waits to join the past –
At least, if we don’t blow it.
It’s hard to leap into a place
Where different ways await us
And we may struggle keeping pace
With habits that may date us.
So grow or stagnate, that’s the choice,
Though change might make us queasy,
Yet all our doubts should have a voice,
For aging isn’t easy.
My mountain man was born in June.
He could do everything, even lasso the moon.
No problem was too big for him to undertake,
Even if it was a fixture that he had to make.
He was like Paul Bunyan, chopping trees and cutting wood,
To keep his little house as warm as he could.
In business he was about as hard a worker as they come.
To be astute and shrewd was his rule of thumb.
He and his wife owned a business and did all right.
Lots of good things were bought to their delight.
But the most important thing that had the highest cost,
Was the love they had for each other they somehow lost.
Now the two people that loved each other for years,
Cannot be in the same room without valid fears.
What happened to their love that began years ago?
Greed crept in, and they did not even know.
They should have been retiring together, holding hands on the beach.
Instead they are going separate ways, and thinking of the breach.
Money is not everything, there is only so much life you live.
Value the love you have, and in your heart forgive.
Life Is Short
so why not
make it sweet also
It is fragile,
can be taken from
you in an instant.
Value it deeply,
don't take it for granted
because you never know
when it will be
exhausted, finished
Savor each moment
Count your Blessings
Enjoy all the fruits
that it has to offer
As long as you
have your health
you're ahead of the game
Be grateful for we
are only on this Earth
for a minuscule time

Torn apart,last day with her,last kiss,last word and then all shuttled down and chapter closed all because life is short..
Life life should be treasured because
Life is short and before you know it
You might die anytime anywhere
Life is filled with with thing to enjoy
Even though life does not seem fun
First but it is worth it.
Life might show it's bad side before
It Shows the good and bright side
You must hold your head high and
Fight against the evil.
Fight against the darkness
Fight against the whispers
Don't let them get to you
Don't let your darkness
Catch you off your guard
Keep your guard up
Try to find the bright thing
In life because once your

Live will your young.................wanna live while your.
I bet heaven is so beautiful,
It has to be glorious and bright.
Imagine, angels singing lovely songs
They sing to Jesus who sitting on His throne.
No light switches or lamps needed there,
For Jesus is the light all over up there,
No way can one of us imagine how wonderful
that could possibly be the light shinning bright.
Shoot down here on earth should be gloomy or sad?
With all the pain, heartaches and death we endure.
Should we act as though this is all we have?
No way go ahead live life to it's fullest before it's to late.
Life is to short and goes by way to quick to fight over
small things on this big old earth, take a breath and
remember life is what we make it and before we get to go
to Heaven live it a minute is a moment but eternity is forever.

Get out and do something to help woman and man.
Love your family because it's the only one you'll get,
Always treat them kind so you'll never have no regrets.
Treat people the way you want to be treated,
Stop being so damn greedy.
Don't fall into the temptations,
Try and be the best of your creation.
Stand alone and dare to be different,
If you have kids be a good parent.
Help the one's who are hungry,
That don't have a lot of money.
Be someone who will listen,
Because you never know how they're feeling.
Randomly help the elderly across the street,
Help a friend get back on their feet.
Help out your community,
So there will be more unity.
Do what's right not what's wrong,
Then maybe we can get along.
Share your story to someone who can relate,
You never know if their life's at stake.
Take a walk and enjoy the trees,
You never know if it's your last day you can see.
Babysit someone's kid,
So they can enjoy life a little bit.
Take extra hours at your job,
Generous acts should never stop.
Stop drinking so much,
Saying you have problems using it as a crutch.
Go to church and hear the word,
God will give you blessings as a reward.
Listen to the birds sing,
Because they're beautiful beings.
Watch the sunset it's beautiful,
You're given a life now do some thing useful.
Stop taking life for granted,
Because you only get one chance.

~The One and Only~
When you learn how to paint you envision a world void of
choice, then like time you give life to the future--creating a garden
where the thoughts of a man dwell in oblivion.
I have learned how to be a good storyteller--to narrate to unseen ears
the miracles that existed before life was brought out of earth.
But this life does not give me credence for my simplicity neither does
it embrace my feelings when my soul seeks a home from fear.
When I told the truth in August: about a Zulu king in heaven, about
the voices that hid themselves beneath the sod, about time and the
sincerity on a seer's tongue--I was romanced with fear, for I thought
death would come like unwanted sleep.
But I have done well. I have made anew the things that matter most
to existence: the complexity of time--which is to rationalize confusion;
and the believe that life is fiction--and most importantly to stay at
home.
Choking, churning dense river of clouds.
Vengeful, raging, wrathful airspace,
where seraphs and cherubs are murdered,
where cold torrential demons are unleashed.
Dank deep noons and nights interbreed,
incestuous and quailing, unholy waters
wailing, exploding, spilling specters,
erasing, defacing, disgracing all that was.
We all know the inequality of cruelty.
Cloudbursts inflict the most on the least.
Drenched hopes and soaked assumptions are
undone by mudslides, unhinged in flash floods.
There are so many conversations we wish
we once had, before the rains started,
before the blast of tainted waters scoured
our private rooms, and it was too late.
No, we don’t know we’re drowning in
the life we repudiate.
LIFE IS SHORT,MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT
Life is short and the world is an ocean of unfriendly people...
A sense of humor is the only paddle you have got....
so hold on it and keep conquering that tide

Life is short
They declare and
I’ m inclined to agree
With that
Short, perhaps, to make
Us happy
BUT
Exceedingly long
To make us unhappy
I may ADD!
