Existential Reprise
Before I scarred the page
Raging what your letters cannot invent
Let me invite you to other books
I wrote before you owed me wage
For all maladjustment and discontent
Tettering on tentacles on hooks
Invite you to an open age
Of change and discourse transfigurment.

In a quiet moment read again
Shards of...

Autumn's Door
Creedence aligned along the corridores of passage
Which usher in through the portends
This Autumn's door....
Such colourful banners a latitudes sprinkling
Flowering waters of repose that still echo
Inside, these sanctuaries walls
Guarded by the sentry whom stands at their gate
The entrance unto the destined temple
Of the blessed, as eternal...

Don'T Ask Me About My Education
From time to time, people ask me
About my education.
Only then, I remember
I have no degrees or diplomas.
I attended no university either.
I hated textbooks and exams.
I still do.
That's bad education, they say.

But they don't know
I was taught by a book
No school could afford to teach from.
There...

Premium Member To Uplift, Or Live Adrift
I ponder my existence beyond the breakers,
Navigating depth’s perils past shallows of youth.
Will I rise with the tides and lift up those near me,
Or will I drift along unanchored by the truth?

Avoiding a solo Melville-penned fate, or wreck,
Depends on my “see man” skills and good...

Through the whispering pines, down the valley's deep
And wide, do they call unto one another, the brother's
Of the winds.
North chases east to west, as south's warming breath,
Begs to play also, once around the world, over land,
Sea, and mountain tops vast divides.
Tag your it, not...

my conquistador dream
Conquistador, for you, my queen,
I want to conquer your heart, cursed star
I want to possess your revolt, and all that is predicted tomorrow,
Conquistador, Conquistador,
I want to tame your eyes, ferocious tigers
I want to share your imagination with the gods
Conquistador, for you my queen,
I want...

Premium Member Garish Should Be
Garish should be the undertone
so say the ones who hold the line
desiring only that mutes explain
the breadth of life beyond the pale

until the souls who dare to dream
demand expression beyond the veil
with vibrancy of color’s swatch
and actions stated to justly shock

these statements exclaimed without regard

Premium Member Behold the Splendor of Fall
Behold the splendor of another magnificent fall!

Every tree is adorned with a resplendent shawl!

All the trees have shed their abundant foliage of jade;

Umber leaves now - they once provided welcome shade.

The ancient Harvest Moon flaunts its ever mellow glow,

Inviting intimate tete-a-tetes for romantic souls below!

Frantic...

Far Away
I guess it’s not easy at first
to experience adjustment
when one gets uprooted
like in any other country.

I first learned the language,
immersed in life experiences;
with cultural differences,
I came along to blend.

With my own companions
living together at home
that through prayers
I was able to deal with them.

Certainly, I miss...

I can hold it in my hands. The heavy book of names
Now laden with the dust and grime. Leather-bound and torn
It is the color of the prairie earth, that changed from rust to gold
Heavy was their lot. of those who tilled the land
Kansas dust,...

Fstop
Fstop. (SNAP!)

our moment.

our pier.
in a split second,
a single-slipped ray
of animation
senses and egresses
ambient light
into the
cauterized bloodstream
of two enamored
lovers.

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our reflection.

my desire for you.
my private folding
twice into your extended arms -
thrice thinking through
the mercurial threads
of my theatrical,
dramatic effulgence; ...

Winter
Whispering color--whites, grays, icy blues, and browns,
Ice-intoxicated, Winter gyrates upon a crystal floor,
Naked, boldly iridescent in a freezing wrap of snow;
Temperance abandoned, the calming virtue her character avoids,
Eventually her dazzle will be forced latitudes away
Retreating the waxing sun's revitalizing rays.
