Following Sandra In New Orleans

Heaviness painfully throbbed your beating heart,
as the world could not understand it
and could never see it.
With your slurred words
and tired, dilated eyes,
I smiled, knowing you were not from here,
watching you drenched in sweat,
dripping down from your neck
in the midst of this muggy

unforsaken place.

And as the last song of thunderous sounds from trumpets played
while golden horns slowly waved in and out of the dark,
screaming to a high climax then falling low
and lower as if it was a rhythm of a train in the rain,

slowing making its stop,

many along the walls stood whispering to others
while gazing back and forth in your direction
as those at their tables whispered amongst cigarette smoke,
using their empty glasses as ashtrays.

And miserably, you walked towards me across the room with courage, and I already knew, just like the others, life had already broken you.

And I waited on the other side with a smile until you arrived,
as you stumbled, drunkenly aroused— into my web.

Then your eyes followed my hips outside the front door.

We walked further away from the departing crowd.

And further away.
Then further away

into darkness,

then

you heard the sound of car doors mysteriously opening.
Footsteps crept closer, and you searched and strained your eyes to see what was waiting.
And when you saw them, you were suddenly

transfixed

You cautiously called my name to get an understanding.
And there was a sound of a closing door,
and I had vanished away.

Desperate scrambling sparked, with a quick touch of a blade to your neck.

Movements pushed and pulled against each other.
And a sound of fumbling,
finally ending with a loud screech—

silence.

Heavy footsteps quickly ran away, and time had stood still.

Then you limped back to your car with an empty wallet
and a frown of dried tears—
A fake phone number folded in your pocket.

You were drenched in the darkest of dark,
and I was in my element,
watching and waiting in my car for my share
of the money we earned.

The Shores of Elation

In dreams, there is an island
where we belong, just you and me,
and that little thing we call love
where moon is always smiling
her silver rays on the edge
where the waters play
while hand in hand we can wander
over the shores of elation
and through the trees in the dark forests
of torment when we stop to make love
beneath the boughs
my heart sings her name
from the caves of intimacy
the entrance to our paradise is waiting
for my love
for no ship can take her to this place
again, I call her name and reach for her hand
and with fingers entwined
I take her deeper into the cave
and through the damp darkness
I lead her to my dreams
and the island of love

Hypnosis

From that first touch
before I could comprehend
the pulsating movements between our hands
as our fingers entwined
to lead the dance
without choreography
without intention
each step into the unknown
and the rhythm grows
intensifying the senses
into that state of hypnosis
called ecstasy
a rapture that binds me to you
in the chains of desire
where all I need is your hunger
like a spark igniting the fury
at the gateway to oblivion

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Box of Lies

Persuasions offered in their words
Slogans repeated in ways absurd
It must be true on the TV

No biased questions on the news
Political lies and points of views
It must be true on the TV

Reality shows to numb the brain
The masses are easy to train
It must be true on the TV

Poor souls addicted to the soaps
No dignity left and no hope
It must be true on the TV

Some chef made a beef stroganoff
To hell with this I’m turning off
Nothing is true on the TV

A Moment

When hearing future times echo within
A moment to pause and see her within

The innocence of love inside their eyes
And he touches her skin to feel within

Her belly tight with the tension of new life
As ultrasound echoes the proof within

The words of love have now led us to this
For life now grows and we feel it within

As Angels Sing

A breath of change as angels sing
The dreams that bring us tomorrow
I’m wearing my heart on a string
No longer caring which winds blow
For love is the deal, the real thing
The only power I need know
A breath of change as angels sing
The dreams that bring us tomorrow
My heart is soaring on black wing
To take you where you need to go
Through the living storms as you grow
You and I have everything
A breath of change as angels sing
The dreams that bring us tomorrow

Cover of Night

The speckled licorice skies close the days
As the sun yields to softer lunar rays
Reflections on the frayed linen patch quilt
To capture each thread with a silver gilt
Delicate fingers that crafted each stitch
To hold a precious memory in place
A patchwork of time as our thoughts retrace
Such wealth remembering made living rich
Yet time goes by and the patches must fade
As we slept beneath the starlight parade
The solemn witness to passion beneath
Our love embracing the nights unafraid
From the first kiss to scented bridal wreath
Sweet memories that is a quilt’s bequeath

For the Love of Rain

The languorous skies weigh in
On hazy summer days
Unbroken heat waiting for
The whispers of rain

Sultry nights of too much love
Demanding bodies
Already molten with lust
Find coolness to sleep

The moistness of sweat seems dry
In rising summer heat
Until the first raindrops fall
So joyfully wet

Fragmented summer evaporates
Into autumn shades
As September brings the rain
Rekindling love’s fire

Wet and warm are her kisses
Soft and delicious
Like the shimmering rainbow
Captivating my dreams

Nyctophobia

Each night I wake in the same dream
and I scream into the darkness
I hear your footsteps
following me
I see your shadows
haunting me
I feel you

On a starless night in the swarthy heat
the streets are empty in the godless hours
and the chase is on
I sense you closing in behind me
so close I can smell
the sweetness of your perfume

In a brief glance, I see your outline
a brief moment to forget
the pleasure of your tongue
shattering my sinews
as you touch me
and I scream again

Fear and pleasure mingle
with the destructive desire of my senses
as your hands caress over me
slow and intense
and your kiss
silences my cry

My hushed mouth amusing your tongue
as your body slides into place
and our minds are in fusion
where words have no meaning
as you entice me to reach
beyond the gates
of my own limitation
to utter the words at your command
say it, say it mister
and in a whisper I say
‘I love you’

A Man's Desire

Give me your love, a man desires it all
Even though he is undeserving of
Your thought, it’s to your heart he makes his call
So, standing here I say – Give me your love

Or shall these words be lost, never heard of
His heart thus left into the pain and fall
Beneath the skies with only stars above

Your answer, then, can make him small or tall
His soul in your hands like a lost glove
As I say the words that give you my all
Give me your love!

The Seventh Fable

The Seventh Fable
The Seventh Fable

Charlaxes Fables

Mental Prefabrications

People have preconceived ideas from Religion and Television

combine these two ideas and no wonder everyone is mental.

The Eye is just now thankful that the computer was not mine at age 14. The TV
was enough to ruin me for life. It is no wonder that eye still don't have a life.
Falling into cracks made just for me. Living in the NEW AGE causes so much
uncertainty and problems we avoided in our past come back as daily necessities
of the mass of useless protoplasmic mice eye once saw a man on the highway
with a sign he was begging for more money to get some more useless wine so
the people went zigging past avoiding him until he fell down on the ground it
seemed to me he was passed out perhaps he died and no one buried him
sounds like an episode of Twilight Zone. There was episodes eye will never
forget the NOSE throbbing on the stairs inside the house the girl tried to leave the
shelter of the fence once out she turned to dust the man with the wires in his arm
seeing the oven where he was born the little airforce people in the GIANT
woman's kitchen getting swept.

It just occurred to me the ins and outs of celebrity imagine all the casting calls to
make the episodes. AND the fact that Charlax was never chosen for even one of
them seems sort of some kind of twisted justice the actors used were just the
best of all the crème de le crème of all the hollywooded jest. Webseries Pilot
casting call:
The Charlax would be excellent at this OH wait look at that ethnic face. Male,
open ethnicity, early to mid 30's - JG. Federal Agency Detective. Good at his job,
but fresh enough to still want to make a difference. Oh if eye were only Twenty
Years different. A Twilight Zoned Detecative with the name Rick Roll selected and
elected to be the actor of the myllineum.

Shirt and Jeans

The clean shirt and denim jeans
No more in-betweens, just me
No more hiding it inside
A rough ride, but I am free
Stepping out and coming out
Too long shouting in the dark
Today is it, can’t go back
Their flack belongs in the ark
Head high with pride, standing tall
It took my all to do this
The past is left far behind
It’s time to find what life is
No regrets, I’ve done all I can
And now it’s time to be a man

The Time Has Come

The Earth is dying, killed by human kind
The unkind acts of living hell
We want it all but take no time to find
The art of living safe and well

The Earth is dying, but who really cares
Enough to seek a future quest
Our selfish greed that holds no future shares
Our kids will have no place to rest

The Earth is dying, in front of our eyes
Yet no comfort is found today
Despite the warnings from the lands and skies
We think it’s better done our way

The Earth is dying, and the time has come
To face the facts and do what’s right
There is no running back or going home
The time has come to stand and fight.

Downrush

Cascades of thunder growling from behind
Embraced as one without a thought or care
The dreams of lovers laced and thus entwined
As torrents fall while we are unaware
Beneath the foam our two souls are aligned
Amid the icy spray crossing the air
Cascades of thunder growling from behind
Embraced as one without a thought or care
The glistening shards of first light unwind
The sun rising, a new day makes it’s dare
To love as if love has ne’er been defined
Beneath the waterfall our hearts were bare
Cascades of thunder growling from behind
Embraced as one without a thought or care

Inside Outside

Outside
the crimson pout is not me
and my soul denies the mascaraed lashes
while an imitation smile hides tears
within the pseudo echo of myself
a shadow with painted lips
that say the right words
and my spirit stays silent and broken
inside

Inside
I hear you calling my name
but it can never be mine
you call me she but I am he
and the boy cries into the silence
while my eyes look for answers
outside

Outside
alcohol, drugs, sex and self-hate
no answers came
no words of comfort in the endless night
as I hear him cry and feel his pain
inside

Inside and outside in disarray
no balance of mind
as the tears washed away the painted shadows
of self like the rain in a storm
until nothing remains but him
inside, outside
the same
