Premium Member May Showers

My umbrella helps keep me totally dry
As torrential May showers fall from up high
Yet soon I see a rainbow and azure blue sky

Showers provide moisture to water our plants
How the seedlings grow, in the warm winds they dance
Our gardens are bursting with colours so bright
With pretty pansies smiling, oh what a delight
Earth needs precious rain and I love the petrichor
Rising from the soil it’s a scent I adore
So I really appreciate May showers (but hope they don’t last for many hours!)

Premium Member Poems With Very Little Words Stunt My Growth

Poems with very little words
Only serve to minutise my imagination
Every word has the power to build
My sweet imagination
So serve them to me on a blank white sheet
                                                               WITH
Verbalization flare and you got my thanks forever
Engage me in your story let me feel the
Rising passion of your soul and
You will have me hooked forever
                                                                 LITTLE
Words restrict my possibility of expansive thought
Open your mind and spill out the story my fellow poet
Rewind your life and tell me all the stories of your journey
Dance on my soul like a dervish circling my aura
Sing to me with words of assonance and repetance
                                                                  STUNT

Me with your poet's steel quill and dip me in your well
You need not scimp on words just show me your story of
                                                                 GROWTH .

Somewhat More Than a Phenomenon - Faith

SOMEWHAT MORE THAN A PHENOMENON - FAITH

FAITH IS A POWERFUL THING…
F alling to my knees in prayer,
A sking not but worshiping the Lord.
I am only a crusader for the cause of creation.
T herefore, I bow unto The!
H e will hoist my spirit and embrace my soul into contentment.

I mage forms via an informed acumen.
S trength augments my strife in life.

A mazing is the lucidity of the mind.

P lease, may I have this honor of speaking to you?
O rnate you with lavishing words.
W isdom and knowledge you award.
E verlasting faith bequeathed through imploration.
R ising above my trials and trepidation,
F or you are the keeper of my soul.
U shering relevance in the most significant way,
L ife guidance provided each day.

T empered to the intensity of my faithfulness,
H ow time is only the hourglass of eternity.
I nvenerate in the privacy of my home.
N othing is more invigorating than adulation of the Lord God.
G ist is faith being that it is the most powerful entity universal.

Wonderful

Whitecaps, buoyant pearled sea snow;
Overhead crimson-coral clouds bend low
Nourishing earthbound beauty starving souls
Desperate to fill the inner hole.
Eloquently, nature's hymns to God abound,
Rising in waves of color, light and sound,
Filling the gaping wound in my breast,
Uplifting me in God's perfect rest:
Love's evidence brings healing profound.

Striking centerpiece placed on the table

Paper napkins with pure lined silverware

Exactly the way the ham is cooked in basil

Calia is content and wouldn't go anywhere

Tommy stole her heart back in high school

Admits, always dreamed to be her husband

Couldn't wait to kneel with a diamond jewel

Under the roses a velvet box he summoned

Loving times they shared on their honeymoon

After, they danced under the starlit moon

Rising sun comes as they began to swoon

Autumn Morn

At last! Autumn leaves fall, scatter and rest
Under a crystal sky close enough to
Touch; adorned like a jewelled crown, my bequest,
Undenied beauty from mantle of blue.
Morning's golden showers charm and ensue.
Naked trees weep for vitality lost.
Meandering leaves are boldly embossed
Over hills and vales in brilliant designs.
Rising with the dawn, leaves fall 'til first frost.
Nature's display of rich colors entwine.

Song of An Ancient Poet

I live in bliss, Ising with thee
In faith and hope I sing and pray
When day comes with dew on the lea
In faith and hope I sing and pray

Oft in prayers I lift my palms
In winter`s cold or summer`s heat
Under shades I lift my voice in psalms
At home and on the open street

To the graveside dirge voices lend
O the cadence itself is life
On which my hollow heart must mend
Dreary notes like cuts of a knife

The soft wind blow a cottage hymn
A thicket bird for twilight tweet
Where once all was quiet and grim
They seem to me a splendid treat

My prime is done and gone with age
December`s end quickens no sigh
Nor baneful tears to quench her rage
My path is bliss `tis not a lie

The husking darkness clouds my sight
A blanket doom waits not for me
I sleep but shall wake to find light
Break the mountain waves of the sea

Lifes Mysteries

Life’s a river; reading riddles it flows.
In morn, he crawls, tiptoeing like a leech,
Falling - kneeling, crawling in fours, he goes,
Enters he second stage, all love to reach,
Swiftly rising, in twos he walks, cooing
Mysteries of life and gaily, dancing;
Yet seeing only scenes that do wooing,
Steadily he runs, glancing and prancing;
Thereby, not seeing the tragic down fall,
Enters he his third stage and walks on threes,
Rising sky high but beginning to crawl
In vast pool of sea, being lulled by breeze.
Every step he keeps, mysteries he meets,
Sounding, silent; merrily all he greets.
