Autumn Morn
At last! Autumn leaves fall, scatter and rest
Under a crystal sky close enough to
Touch; adorned like a jewelled crown, my bequest,
Undenied beauty from mantle of blue.
Morning's golden showers charm and ensue.
Naked trees weep for vitality lost.
Meandering leaves are boldly embossed
Over hills and vales in brilliant designs.
Rising with the dawn, leaves fall 'til first frost.
Nature's display of rich colors entwine.
