The rising sun is as a blazing fire
Casting red on the clouds of dark gray
Clouds rippled as the sands on shore
Or as a giant clam shell in its white and gray

Sailors would take warning on this nippy
Morning for the sun has risen red
The colors constantly change soon demise
Brevity of life soon gone..not like the sun

In one little spot Eagle outline seen
Swiftly he's gone like moving breeze
Life similiar never remains same
For now the color has changed..to gray

Seeing Hands

Her fingers feel the soft grass beneath bare toes
and she sees the blue of the summer sky
though the touch of racing fingers across a colorless page

She smells the apple blossoms that waft on gentle breezes
and hears the honey bee who visits each tiny flower
as a distant whippoorwill sings in the June morning

Her mouth waters at the taste of wild strawberries
sweet and ripe as the juice runs down her chin and
she absentmindedly wipes it away

She feels the sun on walks with her dog
and wonders what does a yellow sun look like
as through the page she feels its warmth

Over the raised dots her fingers fly with a
thirst to experience more of the life that
she can only imagine outside her dark world

Turning the page, she reads the clouds that
fly past in a earnest wind that plays with kites
in kaleidoscope colors pulsating in a fighting breeze

A knock at the door and the book is closed
as finding her cane, she is back in the darkness
of a unforgiving world of questions without answers

Having Your Arms Wrapped Around Something That Just Isn'T There

Having your arms wrapped around something that just isn’t there…

When you survive each days’ struggles based simply on a belief, a flicker of hope,
knowing that Angels look over you, knowing that you are loved, knowing that
somehow, some day, your struggles will be justified, and that life as you currently
know it will get better… you believe you serve a purpose… yet there will be times,
even for days on end, when it seems there is literally no evidence that these things
actually exist.
Doubt creeps in causing you to be discouraged… insecure… tears emerge, heart
aches, and you are left with no clarity, no clear direction… no clear purpose.

THIS is the definition of having your arms wrapped around something that just isn’t
there… it hurts, and it can lead to losing that belief, losing faith, losing you.

Consider this:
There is NEVER a clear beginning, middle, or end to life, love, or happiness… so if we
have no clarity, if we can’t physically SEE that we are loved; if we don’t feel hope,
we don’t feel that butterfly on our shoulder signaling the Angels above… does this
mean they don’t exist??

Never, EVER doubt… there will be days that are foggy… there will be days when you
can’t see the sun shine through the blanket of clouds… but even though you can’t
see it, that sun shines unconditionally, beautifully, and brilliantly… and so do you.
If and when you feel completely alone, you must believe that you are not.
When there is nobody there to comfort, encourage and inspire you, you must
believe they exist.
When you’ve lost your direction, and you can’t find (or see) your purpose, you must
believe you will be guided.

Circumstances are only temporary … they can be misleading… just because you are
by yourself, does not mean you are alone.
Just as being attractive has nothing to do with being a beautiful person… you must
learn to rest comfortably in the hands and arms of others, even when their physical
presence does not exist, and especially when your loved ones’ physical presence
will never exist again… you are never alone.

Shadows

It’s hot! The sun is beaming.
Touching whatever is in sight,
Shining its rays on everything but the shade.
We are walking towards each other, heavily into our thoughts.
Our shadows are with us, avoiding the sun.
As we stop and stare at one another, the shade that walks with us touch and greet.
They become intimate, and as we watch, we take notes.
It’s as if they become one.
We can’t tell one from the other, but they have this cool calm about them.
There is this peacefulness that chills the area they occupy.
We observe them with a focus like no other, to capture the understanding of this moment
between them.
They teach us without words, and we study them with eagerness.
They continue to fondle each other until our bodies give the signal to separate.
As we part they lengthen themselves to kiss, and vanish as the sun hides in a cloud.

"following the Sun"

When things are not so right and
you've tossed and turned all night..
Shake the past off you the best you
can... Watch me take the sun and
 grip it in my hand...
Let brightness glow inside, as the
sad feelings may subside...
Follow the sun as far as you legs
will bring you... Hopefully by the end
of the day your smile won't be blue..
Let the sun be more then a clock that
show's us time...Its much more then
that ,its like a beautiful rhyme...
And if the clouds come back some day,
try to remember the words I say...

Untitled

Dying inside but living
Understanding that what I have suffer is nothing compare 2 what that I have ova come
That pain is no match 2 happiness
Because when it rains
It is the sun Fate 2 show
As tears trickled
A smile is sure 2 pop up
When winter is ova that spring will appear
That flowers will smell like nothing u could imagine
That the sun will feel like the warmest thing
The air... O the air
The air will open u eyes 2 a new sight
Seeing the Reds n Pinks and yellows of the world
Envisioning the evolution new life
The thought of tasting no more sorrow
Feeling relieved of heartache
