Too Much Yet Not Enough

Too Much Technology,
Yet not enough Ecology.
Too much Talking,
And not enough conversation.

Too much planning,
Yet not enough doing.
Too much planting,
And not enough food.

Too many cars,
Yet not enough people.
Too much production,
And not enough consumption.

Too low prices,
Yet not enough quality.
Too much competition,
And not enough co-operation.

Too much of everything,
Yet not enough of anything.
Too much dope,
And not enough hope.

Yet we have had enough reverses,
To know there are enough possibilities,
To negate the oversupply of Procrastinators,
While we still have enough faith in our innovators.

Is scamming an issue of morals or an issue of gullabilities, your emotions and kindness can be vulnerabilities. Beware of the four one nine, the code for scams, black money, virtual love, the psychology telegram. People have been taken out for their anonymous cohorts, the lure of money, underground fame is being played like a sport. Some economies thrive on internet fraud, it shows how humans and psychology are actually flawed. This simple brilliancy will prey on the unwary, signed contracts, fake contacts, some will even trick you to marry. Lottery scams, free kittens, a dignitary is in jail, but you can make triple whatever they’re asking you for bail. Money laundering, missing assets, is this a moral issue, or a deeper societal virus where malignant virtues are the brand new. Technological literate children in a perceived corrupt world, the future scammers, innovators, and investigators of this world.

You Inspire Me

You Inspire Me

What inspires me?

A song lyric-------a brave, determined person (Man or Woman)

A gifted child

An Innovator, innovators are individuals that are firsts to do something.

That inspires me and by the way…

O mother you inspire me (most of all)!

A Swinging Sixties Chick

A swinging sixties chick was I dressed head to toe in Biba
Miniskirts my mother loathed and free love too, so I was told
Music of choice was Motown and Soul that played upon my radio
At weekends tuned to Saturday Club a programme never missed
Radio Luxembourg each night, though signal crackled and hissed
Reception was weak as twilight approached, with my radio under my sheet
At the foot of the stairs Mum’s voice could be heard
     “Turn that radio off, and go to sleep”

In ‘62 a pirate ship launched off the Essex coast
Radio Caroline was her name, with young DJ’s as programme hosts
Innovators of their time, played songs we loved the most
Enjoying the challenge, but taking a risk each time they went ashore
Deemed illegal ~ no license had they, so were technically breaking the law
Trailblazing times enhancing our lives, playing songs never heard of before
     these songs were the soundtracks of my youth
          these songs I love and adore...

Tony Blackburn their first DJ; a handsome young fella back in the day
The first DJ to spin his discs whilst bobbing around on the pirate ships
At 77 still playing his songs and boring the nation with corny quips
on ‘Sounds of the Sixties’ every Saturday morn
     he plays the tunes
          I singalong...

I sent a request for his 'Magic Moments' spot
feeling sure it would end up in his 'magic melting pot'
Our 'Magic Moment' in '63, as we danced the night away
at the Regent Ballroom, Brighton, on a floor made of wooden parquet
     was it love at first sight on a midsummer’s night
          by the light of the silvery moon...

As we danced to the Chiffons 'He’s so Fine' it became our special tune

When Tony played our 'Magic Moment' on his radio show
     I could hardly believe my ears
          then my eyes filled up with tears

for my darling he has gone ~ for he died ten years ago

Written on 1st December 2018
     after hearing my request played upon the Radio...

Independent Dependable

INDEPENDENT DEPENDABLE

Independent dependable nation
Got her independent 50s years back
She is independent dependable nation
Average of her products are made in China
It was once said by her son
During oil boom that
the problem of this nation isn't
But how to spend it

Independent nation full of beggars
Independent dependable with numbers of graduate
Dependable nation are citizens are starving
Independent nation seems a land of unease
Where a few have too much
And many none at all
Dependable nation trains graduates not innovators
Talent are not appreciated in dependable nation
Negative utilization of talent is highly welcome

Dependable nation! Dependable nation! Dependable nation!

Wake-up from thy old sleep
You are old enough to have
Thy independent grand children

Hook

Are we "growing up" or giving up?...when did living a substantial lifestyle take precedence over simply LIVING?....*UNANSWERED QUESTION*...as children we consistently exercised the abilities of the creative MIND .... things such as drawing pictures based on INDIVIDUAL perception and taking the time to go outside to enjoy nature were done on a daily basis and with so much zest...we were NATURAL born innovators...when we ran out of games to play we then made up our own....it baffles me how we were able to transition from such a PURE moment in time into a "life" filled with mediocrity...why is that true HAPPINESS is so commonly compromised?...all in the name of some manipulated concept of progressing in the so called "real world"....I couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to not IMAGINE...to experience a life without VISION (3rd EYE) ...life in itself would be death by conformity...so eager are we to make such a crude sacrifice...are you yourself not brought to tears whenever a child dies?...UNANSWERED QUESTION*

With a spark to get the goal,
I set myself ablaze.

Discoverers are rovers,
Misread as directionless.

Trendsetters are drifters,
Misinterpreted as irresolute.

Innovators are venturers,
Misconstrued as frivolous .

What a falsified perception about me,
Of being an aimless wanderer,
Like a toy car striking wall and moving wayward.

I am on my way to my expedition,
With a zeal of reconnaissance ,
Voyager I am !!

Premium Member Simple Solutions

The Governors complain about the POTUS
The President complains about them
Chicago's Mayor screams: "Stay at home!"

Meanwhile, more and more folks are dying
Too busy complaining, pols aren't even trying
Simple solutions to some of our problems

Like dedicating more factories to produce PPE
Which'll also open up jobs for laid-off employees

Like offering a prize for a good, cheap ventilator
That'll surely bring a response from sharp innovators

Like creating temporary internships for health-care students
Overworked nurses and doctors might find this quite prudent

Where's the vision and leadership so desperately needed
More complaining and screaming's not going to be heeded

I watch talented chefs on tv
And how they make it look so easy
Massive walk-in refrigerators
Recipes for bold innovators
Freshest produce exotic and rare
Excessive abundance they do prepare
Combining components with finesse
Topping lush dishes with watercress

The Crazy Ones

This one is for the
Crazy ones.
  The ones that stick to
Their guns.

  The misfits and the
Rebel.
  The ones that cause the
Trouble.

  The ones that stir it up,
The troublemakers.
   These are the real thinkers,
The Innovators.

  The round peg,
Square hole.
  The majority are
On parole.

  The ones who see
Different.
  The outcasts,
The magnificent.

  They refuse to follow
The rules.
  The mind is their
Tools.

  It is glorified or vilified
With them.
  It is praise or
Condemn.

  You can't ignore them,
They change things.
   They know how to pull
The strings.

  They propel the human
Race forward.
  They are difficult and
Awkward.

  They are the crazy ones,
The genius.
  They have super-power,
Keenness.

   They are crazy enough to
Change the norm.
  They are true to themselves,
They don't conform

Premium Member My Curious Zone

round and round in my square box
routine ever so predictable
till literally it closes in
stifling and unbearable

itching to stretch my imagination
stimulate my curiosity
go see what’s out there
rub elbows with innovators
stir up a cauldron of ideas
dare set afire passions

what if I really did
get out of my comfort zone
and let a sense of adventure
overtake the whole of me
what if  ~

Premium Member The Diversity Of Dialect

Anything of substance now silent,
no nuance in bony dialect;
Floundering in a devoid ocean
we are starving for fluid language;
Razor thin cuts painful and shallow
banal waters lack diversity;

Uninspired without diversity
collaboration’s fallen silent;
Sand bar bellows out ‘Party shallow.’
A view with no need for dialect;
It speaks an elemental language
that lacks the finesse of the ocean;

Swimming the surface of the ocean
hides every inch of diversity;
Riddles of misunderstood language
causes innovators to become silent;
Lost without a smarter dialect,
concepts stall sluggish in the shallow;

No skill to explore past shallow,
humanity an unplumbed ocean;
Without slang or raunchy dialect
there’s no flavor or diversity;
Conversation moves from soft to silent,
a dead sea with no need for language;

Freedom to mix absurd language
can move you right out of shallow;
Crazed rambles overpower silent,
bringing spirit to a hushed ocean;
Shedding a light on diversity,
we can translate any dialect;

If we become fluent in a dialect
we can speak each other’s language;
Hold on tight to our diversity
or risk only seeing things shallow;
Intrinsic our precocious ocean,
without depth may as well stay silent;

The diversity of dialect
erased by a silent language,
A world plagued by a shallow ocean.

Innovation Of Greed

Patents brought us greed
As Nikolai Tesla modernize technology
Thinkers and the so-called inventors copy
Most of Tesla's invention to innovation
While Tesla died in penury and underprivileged
His innovators became rich and wealthy.

Let’s be clear! “AI” is plagiarism --
all grammar checkers, any writing aid,
major editing program, can be a form of
plagiarism...laziness at the least in my
humble opinion.  Someone who writes
a biographical outline, a story outline
of any kind, and then hires a ghost writer,
or major team of professional editors, to
bring about the final, flawless product,
because the original was so sloppy or
hackneyed, is not the writer-originator
as I see it. Agreed! There are
no entirely original thoughts, for each of
us stands on the shoulders of the many
tall and talented thinkers, richly endowed
innovators who came before us – what we
owe them, and our chosen craft of relatively Free
Expression, is to try and maintain a posture
pure as possible when attempting to create.
Approach authorship as a Mystical exercise --
As a personal lover. A rapport with God.

We Are One

We Are One

We have endured the pain of slavery and segregation
We have fought for our rights and our liberation
We have faced the challenges of racism and discrimination
We have overcome the obstacles of poverty and oppression

We have witnessed the rise of leaders and heroes
We have celebrated the achievements of artists and innovators
We have contributed to the culture and the history of this nation
We have inspired the world with our courage and our vision

We have not given up on our dreams and our aspirations
We have not lost our faith and our determination
We have not forgotten our roots and our traditions
We have not let go of our values and our convictions

We are the descendants of kings and queens
We are the children of God and grace
We are the makers of change and progress
We are the bearers of hope and resilience

We are proud of who we are and where we come from
We are grateful for what we have and what we have done
We are hopeful for what we can and what we will become
We are African Americans, and we are one??
One love Keelababy????
