Best Heart Flutter Poems
Dance for me beautiful butterfly
Flutter me wise
Carry me upward to blue skies
Reveal rainbow effervescence to my eyes
My perfect moment encased in time
Within my heart you plant a hopeful seed
Like many wild flowers you fill my need
Waltz in my garden please take the lead
Dance for me beautiful butterfly
Reveal all the colours I long to see
Psychedelic wings defying simple gravity
I sit in wonder watching you breathlessly
With nets people try to capture infinity
Angelic beings in this world are far too few
My hope through painted eyes you do renew
Heavenly glimpses when into my life you flew
Dance for me beautiful butterfly
On pleasured currents help me rise
I am but an observer I wholly realize
Reveal rainbow effervescence to my eyes!
Waltz in my garden please take the lead
I sit in wonder watching you breathlessly
Heavenly glimpses when into my life you flew
Revealing rainbow effervescence saying I love you too!
I dedicate this piece to the love of my life. My sweetie makes my heart flutter,
25 years of joy and she makes each day special.

A blessed
Winter Day
Dressed for the
Holidays. A pure blanched
Vision awaits me so I reflect out loud.
Satin white angel hair snow, sleeps light on our street,
enriches the raw pines in a virginal base coat of flurries.
Families dressed for the holidays, lovely, quite the treat.
There are voices singing, travel soft on a passing breeze.
My senses are ablaze on this blessed winter day.
Children's faces bright red from play rekindle memories.
Remembering crafting sculptures, the element, like clay.
Snow fights, where we'd take refuge behind shrubberies
Lights energized, dance with the dark as their partner.
Colors, tints the nights complexion in a luminesce glow.
Smoke from pillow covered roofs make my heart flutter.
My days of improvised ice rinks, skating with the flow.
A holiday surrounded night ignites passions deep.
Making snow angels, pulled on a toboggan down my avenue,
Picking a frosted pine then wrapped and thrown into our Jeep.
Heading home with that years tree to dress and decorate anew.
But it is now and time to play in this our new frosting of snow.
With my two baby girls we use it to bake as if it were dough.
Life is different now, as an adult with my children, I go slow.
Savor every moment, their youth a gift, repeats like an echo.

(Written to the rhythm of "The Things that I Love", if you want to sing along!)
Eating black licorice and cake with thick frosting!
Not doing so many things too exhausting.
Trying out ice creams in flavors galore!
I’m always doing the things I adore.
Viewing good dramas that make my heart flutter.
Watching those movies with popcorn and butter.
Finding myself in a huge discount store!
I’m always doing the things I adore.
When it’s Christmas or my birthday,
That’s the best of all!
I always feel happy and now you know why:
Because I think life’s a ball!
Petting a kitty, curled up warm and cozy.
Doing my e-mails or writing a poesy.
Wave-running, sunbathing, down by a shore.
I’m always doing the things I adore.
Seeing God’s wonders - like sunsets and flowers.
Looking at paintings or reading for hours.
Dancing and laughing, and oh, so much more. . .
I’m always doing the things I adore!
When it’s Christmas or my birthday,
That’s the best of all.
I always feel happy and now you know why:
Because I think life’s a ball. Yes, life is just a ball!

When
When you smiled
I thought "How beautiful you are."
When you cried
I witnessed the depth of you
When you were angry
I recognized that you had been hurt
When you laughed
I could feel you healing
When you played
I remembered how to be a child
When you danced
I felt my heart flutter
When you left
I wished I had known you better..
A vile visage has been there since ages ago,
Around the corner, scythe in hand, waiting.
He knows life’s course must take me there
On a one-way journey I have been evading.
I cannot know when I must make the turn,
But age and health offer foreboding clues.
His countless clones harrow other corners
Waiting to collect mortality’s final dues.
A heart flutter reminds me of the corner.
Bone and blood perceive what is inevitable.
The finality that awaits is only a step away—
A chilling specter that’s gravely regrettable.
To be young again,
with flowing, natural
chestnut brown hair,
to feel the walk of spring
without ache and pain,
to have the heart flutter
when dreaming about a
current love,
to be able to eat sweets
and not worry about weight gain,
to look forward to each day
with the idealism of youth
to be in tune with the moon,
sun and heavens,
to catch fire flies in Mason jars,
to make a wish at rainbow's sight,
to see shooting stars and
feel excitement,
to dance fast dances without
losing breath,
to stay up all night and talk
about girlish things,
ah, to be young again...
He was quiet, and so very shy
His Loving " Poetry " , caught my eye
I felt his Tender Heart, flutter for me
I saw his Loving Heart ; Pen POETRY
Beautiful POETRY, and " I " “The wonder of his words”
My Heart entwines with his, Everlasting LOVE : Endures
Throughout the Eons of Forever I have watched his sadness
My Beloved, Your Eternal Love Always brings my Heart Gladness
You sit beside me, at the Never ending banqueting tables of Heaven
Alas : do not waste Your Love, waiting to be with me in Eden’s Garden
I see in the window of Your Heart, the mirror of Your Soul
The image in Your eyes, " Barbara Jean " and YOU Picnic on a California Knoll
The fond memories of Your breath, caressing my breast, are now Hers
My Spirit smiles at Your happiness : Love Her as You do me
My Heart elated to see You Love again , long lost Emotions stir :
Barbara Jean , Take care of and Love this “Gentle Man” for all Eternity
Bring Joy to his Life again , and to me Satisfaction that He "is" LOVED again

Let the waves wash over my pain
Please kiss me and
Make my heart fill with flames
Kiss me when the clock hits zero
And please be my hero
I can't wait for that one last kiss
Because it's one I'll never forget
I will miss you
When you walk out the door
But you're in my
Heart to stay forever
Kiss me again
One last time
Hold my hand
Until the end of time
And please
Don't say goodbye
I wish you could stay
Just a little bit longer
Because
You make my heart flutter
You make it feel as light as a feather
When you kiss me
I feel I'm floating
Floating toward the sky
Way up high
I look at the stars and see
A star go by
I wish upon a shooting star
And wish for you to be mine
Mine until the end of time
You won't leave my heart
Even though we'll be apart
You will leave
But your love will stay
And never ever decay
I wake up crying
Because I dreamt of
You and I
I wish it was real
So I could just feel
The memories that were real
I miss you so much
I just love you a bunch
The waves came up
And washed my pain
But everything
Is still the same
Loving you wasn't a game
So everything will remain the same
The optimistic side of me wants
to believe that my fear
keeps me safe.
That there's a reason I
check over my shoulder at the slightest
Noise.
That it’s just the caffeine
making my heart flutter. That
if I reject comfort and live
my life with my hair standing on
End,
that will somehow ward off
disaster.
That there's a meaning to
the snuff films I get it
4k anytime I
Dare
to close my eyes. That locking
my door eight times a night is a
positive trait, because I just want
to keep my family safe.
Fish and Chips with salt and vinegar make my mouth water.
Mushy peas---slice of buttered bread, and I’m in heaven.
Gobbling chirpy chips and fresh fried fish---a relish of gooey batter.
Green peas make my heart flutter as I stutter in culinary haven.
In Yorkshire in a fish and chip shop, I found my addiction
To that savoury delight, which fills my belly with greasy loveliness.
That plate gives me endless joy in my affliction.
All anxieties dissolve midst jurisprudence and law's dizziness.
I fell in love with the first word you spoke
You grabbed my heart and refused to let it go
You’re funny, happy, silly, everything I need
Your smile makes my heart flutter
And that makes my soul feel complete
Now, I know that this life is not fair
So, if you decide to move on – you can go
But know that I will always care
You’re that one thing I really needed
and I want to keep you forever,
But I know that may not be possible…
So I’m happy for the moments spend together
Sometimes things got a little bad
Yet I’m grateful
For the time you gave me was life changing
and worth every heartbroken tear shed
- No matter how painful
Believe me I speak of no falsehood,
But of sincerity my heart aches for you;
Yangdey! The enchanting divine soul,
Let no tear fall and fear of denial rule,
Cause in you I find comfort to my gloom;
Appeasing just to look at and to be with,
No sorrow my heart knows but the delight
Even in precarious unsolicited plight;
So pious and angelic, Yangdey you’re!
Merely a word or a second span of discourse,
Enormous glee you surge me with;
Gracious you! Adorable and alluring,
Do you spare a second for muggins here?
Brooding upon the endearments delivered
And pleased at the word of untainted soul;
Beautiful Yangdey, the reason I so smile!
Hear the amorous soul that yearns for you
And feel the warmth my heart radiates for you-
‘Cause you’re, the most beautiful thing ever
That makes my heart flutter!
From the moment I feel that spark
in the palm of your hand and let it
run over the bone of my hip, I am placed in a
euphoria that drags along with me for months and
years.
It keeps me awake at night and clouds my focus
during the conference calls, bathroom breaks, and
monotonous drives home. It puts me to sleep as I stand
over the boiling pot of spinning webs.
I can feel every stroke of your finger across my face, my thoughts of it. I am
trapped in my memory and longing for the silence of water
falling from the shower head as I drink you in over and over.
It makes my heart flutter and pound and fumble to catch its breath. It makes my mind start and stop
and sputter like a Chrysler with no battery. I hold it quietly around my middle, to protect me from the
emptiness of acceptance.
This is a dirty trick of an imbalanced mind. It is not the very real experience and longing that I try to
compress with this very unhelpful, old washcloth.
Phantoms
In male six, psychiatric ward at night
there live ten patients burning bright,
their thoughts are with their missing
mums, while eager for breakfast wait
their tums
Now here, as not before, it’s all about who’s
first through the dining room door, theirs eggs
and bacon and toast with butter, it’s enough to
make a man’s heart flutter
But romance has now long gone, with shirt
needing help to put on; and in this slight
miscarriage, a moral judgment say, they
take their medication and live another day
But then there’s lunch, what delights await?
with biscuits, cheese and cream and tea, to
fill old hearts with tempered glee, a taste of
butter, a square of fudge, a barely felt old-
fashioned grudge
Five square tables, two at each, if they move
they make a screech; which brings us to the
main event, evening dinner heaven sent,
with pastries, pies and soft fried chips,
and bread and butter for trembling lips
And interspersed amid all this, there’s
medication from the list; black and blue
and white round pills, so designed to
soothe all ills
Ruminations-trembling- hallucinations
too, popped in mouth or drank as syrup,
tis the steed and you’re the stirrup
But here’s not to dwell and dally, on visit
Saturday comes aunt Sally; with choc
and fags and pink smoked salmon, raise
the spirit, mood does rally
But alas now all the wards have gone,
white coats and patients they’ve moved
on; and if one day you pass at night,
remember them when burning bright
Thy beauty, like a jewel, shines
Juliet my love, I will come to thee
In thy sweet caress I long to be
You're a star in a galaxy divine
A diamond in this crown of mine
Thy ruby red hair beckons me
As I gaze in thine eyes lovingly
Mesmerized in this essence that is thine
I am drawn to thee like a moth to a flame
As the wings of my heart flutter in delight
But the beast within me cannot be tamed
As I am illuminated by thy light
Indeed, beauty is thy name
Thou art a most precious gem in my sight
