A Mother's Love By Er Haider Khan

A beacon of strength, my mother dear,
Always by my side, always near;
A leader and guide, that's what she's been,
In all of life's journey, through thick and thin.

Her adventures have taken her far,
On boats and planes, to distant shores;
A woman of sacrifice, dauntless and strong,
Her love and care, a fire that burns long.

In the coldest of nights, she keeps me warm,
Her love molds mountains, reshapes every form;
She held my tiny fingers with tender care,
Guiding me through life, always there.

From the pain of childbirth, she bore me,
A mountain of strength, none could foresee;
Her shadow follows me, shining bright,
She's the only one I've known, day and night.

She lit my path, when I couldn't walk,
Supported me, through every block;
Fought for me, even when I was wrong,
A mother's love, forever strong.

Broken Like a Tree Er Haider Khan

She broke me like a tree,
With leaves so green and branches free.
Her words were warm and kind,
And her faces wore the same design.

I cannot call her characterless,
For I respected her nonetheless.
But she took my worth and brought me down,
With fears of someone I didn't know in town.

I held onto her without a cause,
But now I see the flaws.
She used me for her gain,
And left me in endless pain.

Now I stand here, broken and alone,
Wondering why I didn't see the unknown.
But I will rise again, like a tree,
Stronger and wiser, with branches free.

Shadows of Solitude By Er Haider Khan

In the shadows of solitude,
When darkness engulfs my fortitude,
My friends become a guiding light,
A beacon shining in the night.

With their words, they ease my pain,
And wash away the hurt and strain.
Their support, like an anchor, holds me steady,
Even when the world feels too heavy.

In moments of joy or sorrow,
They're there for me, today and tomorrow.
With their laughter and their love,
They lift my spirit high above.

Their friendship is a precious gift,
A bond that time could never shift.
For in the shadows of my life,
Their presence shines like a bright light.

So here's to friends, both near and far,
Who light up our lives like a shooting star.
May we cherish them, always and forever,
And hold their love in our hearts, wherever.

A Journey of Faith and Redemption By Er Haider Khan

The whistle blew, signalling the start of my journey,
 Aboard the train, my degree and future bright and blurry.
 3000 km to travel, 30 hours to spend,
 I settled in, ready for the adventure to begin.

I put my bags down, beneath my seat,
 Letting myself rest, my eyes to meet.
 But fate had other plans, for I was soon awaked,
By strangers, who in my native language spoke.

They talked to me, and I was all alone,
 But their kindness and warmth, I'd soon know.
 They gave me sweets and showed me the way,
 To pray to Allah, the only merciful, they'd say.

We prayed between the seats, cramped and tight
, But their sincerity, made everything right.
 They took me in, and showed me the way,
 To Allah, they led me, with love and grace.

They were like angels, sent to guide,
 My heart was filled with love, my soul purified.
 In that moment, I found my repentance,
Thanks to these strangers, Allah's holy message.

May we all find such moments of grace,
 And be led to Allah, in this life's race.
 For in the end, it's love and devotion,
That bring us true satisfaction and salvation.
There is something in my life when night comes my mind.

Friends In the Shadows By Er Haider Khan

In the shadows of the night,
When sorrow tries to take its might.
My friends are like shining beacons,
 Erasing my pain and my demons.
With snorter and with cheer,
They chase away my every tear.
 In the hostel, aloof from home,
Their absence makes me feel so alone.
They bring me joy and make me glad,
 Their friendship a comfort I would never have.
With them by my side, I feel so free,
From all the sadness that used to be.
For a life should have friends so true,
Who make the darkest nights bright and new.
I am exalted to have them in my life,
Who make my heart free from all the strife.
Being with them, my world is bright,
And everything feels just right.

Endless Devotion By Er Haider Khan

The world is a vast and wondrous place,
Full of sights and sounds to fill the eye.
But no matter where I roam or race,
My heart belongs to you and cannot die.

From mountain tops to ocean depths,
I feel your presence in all I see.
In every flower, every mountain step,
Your love is with me, constant and free.

But should you choose to turn away,
To leave our love behind and wander free,
I'll let you go, though it will slay
My heart to see you leave, just let me be.

For in your absence, I will find
The strength to love again, to start anew.
But know that in this heart of mine,
A special place will always be reserved for you.

Rise Above the Pain By Er Haider Khan

Time ticks away, with each beat of the drum,
 While thoughts of revenge, leave you feeling glum.
 Hoping for justice, for what they've done wrong,
But all it does is, your heart string prolong.

Let go of the anger, that's holding you back,
Embrace the present, start a new track.
 Forgiving is freeing, it opens the door,
 To happiness and peace, you've been searching for.

Take control of your life, let go of the pain,
 Focus on the future, love will come again.
And don't waste your time, on the ones who've hurt,
Just live in the moment, and let your heart flirt.

Friendships Fervor By Er Haider Khan

My mood made me rude,
My dude soothed my mood;

All right all my nights dude,
Your loneliness makes a day grudge;

Let the world burn outside,
Let’s remember nobody outside;

Insanity makes me fervent dude,
Exigency needs your deeds, dude;

And when I watered in dread
I Reminisce,

With Tearful eyes more filled with bliss,
I Reminisce,
I could tell the moments like a dream,
Is all that we saw or seem;

You exalt my cheerfulness,
When I am in woefulness;
My mood made me rude,
My dude soothed my mood;

A Slice of Heaven: Nishat's Garden By Er Haider Khan

Kind like an angel
She comes unseen from everywhere;
Scarcely see through the bars of wrath;
Her wings are stretched in search of sincere soul;
The caged queen is singing for having me.
Ahem! The queen sings with fearful whisper;
And sound is heard from the distant hills;
Alas! She is with white covered feathers;
Hiding her face under bright white feathers;
Calling from hill to embrace;
The writer soothed her soul for grace.
Rotation revolves on rest and time pauses in walk;
Have seen flowers burning out of her lip warmth;
Morning air gazes to touch for eternal fragrance;
For I could help myself thinking of love I write you.
Her voice is of angels soothing to absent souls;
Repels Doppler and oscillates in heart beats;
Epoch forget for your presence to unveil your face;
When I am finding obsession being with her;
Enormous eras come into an end.

The False Promises of Love By Er Haider Khan

There once was a girl, so proud and so fair,
 Whose arrogance I couldn't help but compare,
 I longed for her love,
 But she looked down above,
 And rejected my feelings without a care.

I asked her what I had to do
, To make her see my love was true,
She said I must be rich,
And have a certain niche,
 But I knew in my heart that wasn't true.

But then one night, she called me out of the blue,
Saying she loved me, my heart felt brand new,
 But soon she was gone,
 And my love for her was drawn,
As she disappeared with nothing to do.

I realized then, her love was not real,
Just a game she liked to play, with no deal,
I let her go, and move on,
And found love that was true, that had no dawn.

The Path To Allah: a Love Story In Verse By Er Haider Khan

Once there were two souls,
Who loved each other, their love was a boon,
 She was devout, with a heart pure and true,
Establishing her prayers, five times a day, though.

But he, a hypocrite, his love was a lie,
 Their love was tested, as time went by,
Misunderstandings arose, and they parted ways,
Leaving her heart broken, in a daze.

But time passed, and his heart changed,
 Attracted to Allah, his spirit was rearranged,
She with enthusiasm, tried to reach out to him,
But he refused, for it was not within.

He blessed her with prayers, and gratitude,
For she was the one who changed his attitude,
He thanked her for showing him the way,
To connect with Allah, and to pray.

With a heart full of grace and a soul full of light,
 She shone like a beacon in the darkest of night.
 Her devotion to Allah, a guiding star,
A shining example of who we should all be, thus far

Endings: a Poem of Lost Love By Er Haider Khan

My love for you is like a river,
Endless and flowing, it will never quiver.
In every moment, in every hour,
 You're the one my heart longs to empower.

Every step I take, every road I cross,
 Reminds me of the love we've lost.
If your love for me should ever fade,
My love for you would also shade.

But if your heart still beats with mine,
 Our love will forever intertwine.
 For if you were to leave and go,
 I'll find peace in letting you know.

But if our love is true and pure,
 I'll always be here, enduring.
And you'll find in me a love so bright,
That will shine forever, day and night.

Embrace Life's Beauty By Er Haider Khan

In life's journey, we must choose,
Paths to take and paths to refuse.
Each step we take, a chance we seize,
To shape our lives as we please.

We face trials, big and small,
And often stumble, before we stand tall.
But with each fall, we learn and grow,
And stronger we become, as we go.

We find joy in the simplest things,
A child's laughter or bird that sings.
And in moments of darkness and despair,
We find hope, in the love we share.

The Mysterious Embrace By Er Haider Khan

Her words like silk,
Her kindness a balm to my soul;
Lost in her embrace,
On forgotten streets we stroll.

A spell she weaves,
A peaceful enchantment of grace;
Her eyes, a loyal guide,
In this soundless, tranquil place.

Her tears fall like rain,
A butterfly's desperate cry;
I stumble for an answer,
Unsure if this is truth or lie.

If this is real,
Or a figment of my mind's creation;
Let me slumber on,
In this dream-like sensation.

Don't wake me yet,
Let me drift in this blissful state;
Fiction or reality,
I don't want to contemplate.

For it is infatuation,
A spell that's taken hold;
Let me linger here awhile,
Before the truth is told.

Foreshore Melody By Er Haider Khan

A butterfly's flight,
Lost in the foreshore of the night;
With tears in her eyes,
She hung from the trees and cried.

Her gaze met mine,
And in that moment, we intertwined;
With the moonlight as our guide,
She sang and spread her wings wide.

She fell from the trees,
Onto the water, as gentle as a breeze;
It seemed she had lived for eons,
As her wings glimmered like precious stones.

I touched them with grace,
And in that touch, I found my place;
For in the foreshore of the night,
Her peace and melody took flight.

As the night draws to a close,
And the shelter of dreams fades and goes;
The touch of her wings,
And the tranquility in her sings.

Forever in my soul,
Without fail, her beauty unfolds.
