Best Governess Poems

Clair De Lune

Governess of endless flowing tides
Ancient Orb that mystifies

Dusty ochre, bright hot white
Cycling and glowing with borrowed light
Cratered desolate dusty reflector,
Yet invoking your own haunting specter

Revealing all when heavily laden
Ebony cloaking when waning maiden
Luminous shafts caress and bathe
The supple skin of lover’s raves

Wondrous wishing talisman bold
Wide-eyed children cup and hold
Your gleaming form within outstretched hands
All tiny grains of billowing sand

Haunting compass; true and right
For countless seaman through the night
Ageless past and endless tomorrows
Stalwart celestial illuminations borrowed

Rest well within your firmament high
From darkest sable to lapis lazuli
Grace us again in coming night
With opaque splashes
Of
Perfect
Moonlight

A governess, a guardian of the young, so known and dear as to be called “Mother” and a noblewoman, just barely 12 by age, named Portia, sit talking as the sun sets the stage for a cool, cloudless night.

“Mother, who invented candlelight and the slow, delicate brush of lips?”
“Some rakish boy, pawning his experience for present pleasure, no doubt.”
“Say true, Mother. If you were a man, would you find this common body worthy of love?”
“You show no blemish child, and display a certain bony voluptuousness - I should think.”
The governess begins to comb and braid Portia’s hair for sleep.
“I saw Portincio this morning, in the courtyard.”
“The boy from Padua?”
“He’s a man Mother, and his cast portents a passion so sweet - it shakes my very frame.”
Mother chuckles, “Even hopeless birds sing in cages.”
“I am not hopeless!” Portia writhes angrily, like a snake about to strike but mother calms her.
“Shoo, shoo, now,” Mother purrs, brushing all the more gently, “I meant nothing of it.” After a moment, she continues, “Love is more than coquetry, little one, and it soon passes - like a parade, or a rash. For now, be happy, you are like the chaste stars - unreachable.”

Premium Member If I Would Have

If I had been a governess, I would have been paid.
Maybe a pittance, maybe a penny, maybe in francs or yen.
Who knows?

If I had been a race car driver, I would have been revered
By my pit crew, I would have made them laugh as I left
The others in the dust, as I lapped around, refusing to
Wear my helmet. Varoom! Varoom!

If I had been a princess, I would have been bored, talking
Politely, wearing gloves to tea, learning dreary protocols,
My life not my own, a slave really.
Let me out of here!

But if I had been a pirate, I would have been daring and
Dashing. My crew would have adored me. They would have
Been terrified of my terribleness. I missed my chance.
Dang it!

I’m Virgo, playing music tranquilly
in this self-portrait. The clavichord I chose.
It denotes fine education; the black clothes
I'm wearing prove I value chastity.
Dark as a shadow, to the left of me
is the face of my governess, which shows
I am dutiful. My face fairly glows -
lit with love for the arts and poetry!

See me in this latter portrait, still in black,
a high collar at my neck. A strange disguise
my face is now; I'm nearly taken aback
to see my sagging jowls! How dim my eyes,
and how thin my lips! But never did I lack
for love! I have lived long and have grown wise.

*Sofonisba Anguissola, who called herself Virgo, lived
from 1532 to 1625. She was a female artist known
for her great grace and modesty. I chose to write of
her using the Petrarchan Sonnet to honor her Italian heritage.

The two self-portraits described are from when she
was both young and old. I thought it interesting to
see how she changed with the years. If you copy and
paste my link, you will see several self portraits from
her youth and the two on the bottom are probably
close to when she was in her 90’s!

Rage For Peace: Here and Now-Today In the Middle East-

The volatile excerpt reads “The behead-
ings that were carried out by the Isla-
mic State of Iraq and Syria, the
rage of hate is a control factor for
the power of the leader to be sup-
reme. Is this the measure of mankind?
The rigor-mortis that lay before us
is a terrorist creed dogma time clock.
None the less than government formed through doc-
trine of Qu’ran and Sunni stated to
be the divine order of all the land.
al-Baghdadi caliphate is mercen-
ary to the faith of the Middle East.
The rage of hate must be depleted now."

R oused was the first leader and destroyed.
a l-Baghdadi came on board.
G ruesome guerilla killed woman, man, and child for his caliphate.
E quality must be palpability today.

F ear that is caste by ISIS.
O ften is not considered by the people as a terrorist.
R egards are to the governess.

P opulations are nations
E volved to roam.
A spirations are not known.
C aliphate has formed.
E quity and identity is commercial paper shown.

In stillness of her spirit she sits there
with all her prowess she manipulates.
Her fingers’ ripples in coldest water
replenish mind and soul that ruminates.
Playing in nocturne, she’s being witnessed
by her governess . The simplicity...
Her portraits that adduce virtues she possessed -
laconic and clear view of chastity.
Oh, renaissance woman, you shine on top,
as you incandesce in mind love of arts!
You’re a czar bringing our decorum up-
women’s pride… imbue modesty in heart.
In the silence of our heart, we listen
in these memorabilia… you remain.

Life Poet

Life Poet

Contemporaneously, my thoughts ponder.
I know that the light of day supervenes when it does.
But when night comes, the blinds are yet left open.
The streetlights provide the fading sun.
The moon glows above.
This is because in a storm the dimmer these lights will become...
If I only had gone beyond, the brighter is the glow from the moon.

Zoned due to the twilight.
The people are buzzing the cause.
I knew if I stood up for what was right, I would not falter.
When they get that they are not achieving an eclipse by
being the man that was enslaved – by being
the man that was put in an oppressive state;
When they know that there is no intelligence from being the subjugator or
the man who fraught,
They will face the realities of Verlena Sexton-Walker.

Lord, I stretched my hand to thee.
I took the world on, but today I lack the remedy that is promised by a governess state.
Empowered by another podium, I must believe in the emancipator.
I know that my footprints are seen.
Within my reach is the promised land.

Never a day goes by that I do not speak to my suppressor.
He wants a hideous prevalence.
I am new case law that has formed.
We cannot allow bygone to be bygone.

For a National Endowment of the Humanities Project - Social Theological Studies

THEORY
The truth is that we are the people of North America mixed by the blood that existed via the birth of a nation. We have no biblical presence as given. We are Social Theological Studies. No God was there for us. We became a government formed from earth. We are generations discovered. We are the blood matured and mutated from origin, immigration, and enslavement. We state our allegiance and our beliefs to a greater source. We are worshipers of The Unknown God. Although we may use the given epithet by the Hebrews, Jews, and Gentiles - Jehovah God Lord – this, to us, is the unknown God.

Physiology
1.	A political-religious focus delivered through a Humanities model.
2.	A socio-activist voice that will address the Humanities situation.
3.	Social Theological Studies searches for a greater way that captivates the
         mind and embellishes the soul.

Methodology
Through empirical research via a mixed method, Social Theological Studies will investigate our biblical presence as the formation of living via structure. Poetry and philosophy ethnography of ideals, beliefs, creeds, a family way (ethnomethodology), etc. will be composed through a multidisciplinary model, which involves and is a Humanities approach.

Philosophical Hypothesis
We did not evolve. We were discovered.

This is a casual model that represents two variables, which are discovery (to the creation of a nation) and evolution (our time of metaphorical evolution).

Holistic Perspective
As stated, we have no Biblical presence given. We are committed to this sense-datum of a nation (United States of America) origin and birth because…

Only through iniquitous content does a wrongful world exist or hold capacity. Thus, this hold true to a governess of a country.

Verisimilitude
The credibility and quality of this project are authentic in research via observation, interviews, case studies, etc. that semblance of truth refers to research findings that are consistent with occurrences in the ‘real world.’

A Nun's Prayer

A NUN’S PRAYER

To the Lord Almighty and as a colored Nun, I am a vestal of his governess and obedient to that form.
I walk in a sisterhood of solidarity.
I am a new religious order via The School of Social Theology.
I refuted poor mindedness for a rightful mind.
I vowed to conformity of Lord of high.
In my weakness, I do not falter domestically.
In my strength, I am subservient.
I will make a difference through my duties and tasks.
As a soul, I owe the Lord all Almighty that.
My essence is my spirit and wit.
I am satisfied with the life I live.
Amen

The Magic of Garden Glen

Fireflies flicker and flutter beneath the dancing trees
exotic breezes whisk and whisper through limbs and leaves
The Golden Goddess of Garden Glen breaths evergreen
Her elfish essence is magic and Her spirit gleens
for it's merely a moment at the wonder She whiles
She wiggles and giggles and then She snickers and smiles.

She's not really a Goddess nor is She a Princess
She's more of a mystical, magical Enchantress
She is The Garden's gleaming, glistening Governess
a caldron song singer, a spell casting Sorceress
She starts with Her essence then stirs Her spirit divine
She drips dragon tears, then simmers slow with sweet sunshine.

Simple solution of spellbound myth and mystery
secretly sublime not found, hidden in history
not mountain high, valley low nor places in between
is the glowing gleen of The Garden Glen's evergreen
it is just East of the sun and Southwest of the moon
in a place where clouds and castles float and stars are strewn

Conservative

Precondition for the disgust, I set tight mouthed to not talk.
The ultimate right had been denied and now I was the intelligence they desired.
Within the first ten minutes, I stood up.
I felt frustration in my gut.
There was no reason for me to lose.
All these occurrences had happen.
Confidence had become dumb.
Therefore, I spoke out.
There was no excuse to do otherwise.
Unless there has been another life, they had nothing to go by.
Flexing, I stretched.
I yawned.
Then, he entered the room
He was the maker of Jake Daniels.
She was a Quaker in form.
She stated do not ask me to settle.
That is when I knew her mind was gone.
You mean to tell me you know the truth.
You mean to role-play me as the fool.
I just sighed awaiting for her next move.
He was not the one handling the case.
She was already in the room watching for agitation.
Mundane this has become.
Money gained will be the outcome!

This is an event of actions.
Defense against defensive is from incidents that caused bodily injury.
In fact, the Defense is in contradiction of the law.
An obvious attack on another person is open for disaster.
As proven, this has never transpired.
No transgression has not ever ensued via case law.
Why do they believe they can violated all the statues and laws of this country?
Her name is Jill Zyskowski.
He is Christopher Daniels.
The Judges and Justices in this marathon are:
16th Circuit Court – Macomb County Michigan Judge Peter J. Maceroni
Michigan Court of Appeals Judges Peter O’Connell, William C. Whitbeck, and
      Kurtis T. Wilder
Michigan Supreme Court Justices
Supreme Court of the United States of America Justices
Ultimatums have been applied.
Yet, no one has responded to do what is right.
How far do you go to destroy those that have desecrated governess of political
     structure?
You hold fast.
Stead to the governing of law to disallow obstruction of justice.
Date your stratagem through a radical mode.
Henceforward to destroy and know that your damages will be recovered…

In a Mother's Hand

In a Mother’s hand
You will find patience
Perseverance and dedication
The ability to look past imperfection

In a Mother’s hand
You will find courage
Strength and understanding
An acceptance of responsibility

In a Mother’s hand
You will find discipline
Advice and encouragement
A need to provide guidance

In a Mother’s hand
You will find love
Compassion and generosity
A place of protection

In a Mother’s hand
You will find pride
 Honor and integrity
A governess of principles

In a Mother’s hand
You will find a reflection
Of all her hopes and dreams
And the sacrifices she made

In a Mother’s hand
You will find the hand of a child
Naive to the worth of
A Mother’s hand
Until
A child’s hand is within their own

In 'Sound of Music', a time-honored film,
Maria, postulant from Abby near,
was hired, by a Captain widower,
as governess for seven children home.

The children then bereft and motherless
and governed by time-saving frenzied rules
which father, Georg von Trapp strictly enforced,
were placed into Maria's gentle hands;

Her service to the Lord made her a saint,
and with her gentleness, she shaped their lives.
Through love of music, led them with their songs
with joy for life that they had never known.

They fell in love with her, and soon her world
had opened up another way to serve.
In love and bonded with them and their dad,
she came to follow a new road in life.

As loving wife and mother, she gave self
upon another path of faithfulness.
She served the Lord and life, together with
the rescue of a family once lost.

Is life itself merely a matter of perspective?
Does cogitation dwarf the poet's reflexive?
If only my words could spread across the paper.
Build a punter world faded from a barren taper.

Has tied together details with his utterance.
This ringed world is bathed in such radiance.
There, as it blazed, the finest fury was sown.
The glories of lofty notions must be shown.

His clever mind shows words to shove.
The fading sun's beams, the genesis of love
Spur one's heart to beat with goodness.
The globe's first torn-and-wrung governess

Or daydreams when yield is in full flow.
The width of this real mental orbit grows.
the same as in this busy, boisterous space.
My mind rises, free of servitude in place.

It might happen with each passing year.
My name, my life, and my manner endear.
And amid the dust of a poet's silent rest,
Maintain contact with the wise and best!

Exert one obedient deed in one fading hour.
Or heal a fading face with a genuine flower.
My lines are fortunate despite a tight scope.
for their nimble date, on the apex and slope.

Still, this verse is my finest leisure option.
It follows a sly path across the attraction.
One time only, deny a brood urge to revive.
Chase only a sigh or lull a worry not alive.

From brick and frame to flowery blitheness.
Our walks have bred humility and forgiveness.
While conversing, I softly stroked your face.
He commands us to protect this holy place!
