Do-Gooders
They live but one dream - to rid this vile world of its evil veil.
12/11/2015
Do gooders are hard to escape.
They're addicted to wearing the cape.
With less than a clue
Of what's good for you,
They insert then deny it's a rape!
Self-righteous do-gooders, so they believe, preaching the Word while minds they deceive,
Casting their ballots for racist, lying, cheats, shelving morality for them to be the lead,
Satisfied preying on the innocent and cleansing the impure, while claiming their prayers will sanctify and hold them secure,
Women stay passive, men will lead and fight, qualm their goody-two shoed outlook with their “good works” that make it right,
Believing progressive outlook ends the value of the American way, yet changing their medieval ideology is the last thing they would slay,
Promised a miraculous fix for the Red, White, and Blue nation, years later it is worse and blamed on the former rulers’ dictations,
Athletes are vilified for kneeling in peace, unjustified murders from countless police,
Threats to deploy numbers in thousands against oppressed citizens of this country, not one word of peace from a dictator and his tight gentry family,
The list goes on and the battles never end, if you see something is not right, not fair, or apart from the trend,
There is moral obligation, ethical righteousness, and justice for all, to stand up with courage and integrity, through action, make the right call.
I see the Do-Gooders are out in force again
And this time it's the annual Christmas Coke Cola Bus
Stirring up the fuss
Crusaders against any and every cause
No topic to juvenile or puerile to rage against
They want to ban children visiting the Coke Cola bus
Because some children are obese
And as they see it this is there duty to stop
As it will somehow end and solve the crisis
Now correct me if I am wrong
But I have never seen a child
Buying or pushing a shopping cart
Around a Supermarket
With a Credit Card
Or am I shopping on the wrong child friendly day's
It's usually Parents who buy and choose the items in the trolley
And Parents who cook make or feed their kids
What is the point or to what end
Is banning the bus so children can't see it
Going to make a blind bit of difference
And why should everyone have to pay the price
Or is that old teacher's adage
You see now you have ruined it for everyone
Father Christmas
Santa Claus
In all its modern day guises
White Beard
Red Santa Suit
Is a Coke Cola patented trademark
They invented modern day Christmas
As we have come to know it
I know it is crass to say but
Coke has done more to promote Christmas
Than religion or church has
I wish all these Do-Gooding people would stop trying to fix us
Who actually asked them to
And why do they know best
Who anointed them saviors of the rest
The only thing good intentions have ever taught me is
Walk a mile in my shoes
Looking out your warm safe curtain windows
And your rose tinted views
For what its worth
You will never be the same
When you know what the reality of a life of pain brings
You cling on to the small things
Like the annual Christmas Bus
Beside Mum and Dad
Fulfilled and glad
Is that so bad
We loved videogames, Paul, Sam and me
Came up with an idea, started a company
Sales were good, but success was a curse
It started when the law said we must be diverse.
So we hired Mary, Chantelle, and Helene
But social media was their preferred scene.
Mary spent work time applying lotions
Helene said she was passed over for promotions.
Helene walked away with lots of dough
We settled her lawsuit, but it was a blow
Then we had to pay the business tax
Sam gave half our staff the axe.
Then the hydro plant fell to a progressive plan.
so salmon could swim upstream without a dam.
They built lots of turbines where trees used to grow
So our servers were down when the wind wouldn't blow.
Then Paul said that marriage should be between Adam and Eve.
An online mob descended like you wouldn't believe.
I told him to grovel, but we felt the sting
So I sold our patents to a guy in Beijing.
If you wonder why you can't get a job
Or the one that you got makes you feel like a blob.
Ask the idealists who care about all except you.
They're sitting at the levers, that self-righteous crew.
