My Hands

The map of my hands
Reveal many roads
Some now traveled
Some untold
I look at my hands
And wonder what's next
Will the coming road be simple
Or maybe complex
They say your hands tell a story
Of the life you are to live
So many weaving roads
So much information to give
But for all the knowledge my hands possess
There is one thing I must confess
I don't read palms so at my life I guess
What oh what is to happen next
Do my hands reveal secrets of what is to come
That could be hooey
But here's a good rule of thumb
Live life everyday and take it as it comes
Play the hand you are dealt
And don't dwell too long
On the roads not traveled
And the songs unsung
And please just please
Speak with truthful tongue
My hands may tell stories
Of what life is to be
But I will just have to wait
Just wait and see

A Thought In Which To Ponder

Within all of our hearts their beats a hidden melodic tune..,

This will send a clear message from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet..,

As a good rule of thumb,

It's best to stay with the current devil you know,

Then to boldly go to the one that you don't..,
Yet still one is a bit perplexed.,
Not to mention one's hidden past ?
The scars of hidden regret,

Fashioned within an illustrious equinox !

To pay the creator back for what we all owe..,

Like the head Pharisee was, in the silence of the ghostly temple...

Yet even when there is still one lost sheep..,

God's heart in compassion will long to go out to look for it !
The one that was so lost..,
Still actions in which humsn rebel against God,
Miss there true purpose for their lives..,

Surrendering to the prince of the power over the air !
More than God cause their very deeds were evil..,

Hence, oft' people need to shun the creative process,

Rather to endulge in passing sports along with luke warm entertainment !
Yet within the pain there develops true character and diverse integrity..,

The integrity brings out a silent form of determination !

Yet polished and completed !
Still with what one does today...
Will someday be forever echoed throughout all of eternity !

Could You Spare Me A Dime? (Age:11)

Day after day,
Time after time;
I see people on corners asking,
"Could you spare me a dime?"

All day long,
We all pass them by;
Some choose to give,
But truthfully, most don't reply.

"They'll spend it on drugs!"
"They'll spend it on beer!"
But what about those,
Who are truly sincere.

We all still need to give,
Even though it gets hard;
Because of the scams,
Society has been scarred.

We can't just give up,
And choose not to care;
Because there are people,
Still hungry out there.

A good rule of thumb,
When you give money away;
Think of the life,
You could be saving today.
