Beautiful rainbow prisms fascinate and charm my gypsy soul,
They show me new light and loving ways, and make me feel whole.
They flicker and dance around me, with lovely orbs of light and love.
These fancy faerie like glitter balls are clearly designed by those above.
Our hidden dreams and wishes prance forth in their shine as is their duty.
Crystal balls, prisms, lava lamps, and other light givers are a thing of beauty.
Glamorous, exquisite, and pretty enough to catch a young one’s fancy,
I will follow my prisms to faerie land, where angels are all dance-y.

Colored lights may hypnotize
and sparkle someone else's eyes
now, woman
your words
glitter like you've been drinking glitterade from devilish
dixie cups' alchemy secreting formulas outshining
phosphoric secretions from fireflies and other
coelacanthic creel creatures scantily clad depth diving
kaleidoscopic critters glitter glowing fash gnashing
ostentatious understated fatal attraction
ultra auric traffic controls

metal smith’s grinding wheel sparkles
oxyacetylene torch, arc weld, plasma cut fusion in reel time
explosions rearrange realities
globally glazing glitzandery fraught with
pyrotechnic anthems razzle dazzle
fireworked ooh aahs cymbalize
electroliscious ectoeroticisms

I had never seen a glitzier, prettier pink sequin coat.
These were not ordinary sequins, they were elongated.
Reminded me of shiny sequin purses we saw in the sixties.
Who is wearing that coat? I wondered, trying to get a look.
Of course, it is my niece Charlene, nothing is too pretty for her.
She gave me her usual smile, the one I have seen since she was two.
An only child, a princess, beloved by her parents and the rest of us.
At sixteen, I still looked at her face and saw that two-year-old-toddler.

Glitzy Santa was a cross-dressing queen
He is ridiculous!
He is crazy!
She is beautiful!
She is marvelous!
Totally obscene! Totally wonderful!
You see our family disagreed.
Christmas is Jesus
Christmas is shopping
Christmas is cooking
Christmas is ho-ho-ho.
Well, I am ho-ho-ho, Glitzy Santa said.
Giving them his come hither look
Flashing his rhinestones
In a sexy way.
His grandmother thought it was fantastic!
His mother was on the fence.
His father slammed the door and played rock music in the barn.
Grandpa slept through it.
When I grow up, I’m going to be a glitzy Santa too! Said the four-year-old.
You can’t be a glitzy Santa, you’re a girl! The five-year-old said.
Can too! Glitzy Santa told her.
You can be anyone you want to be.

The itsy bitsy glitzy ditzy ritzy kitty
Makes the room seem rather pretty
My uncle is here, feeling puffed and silly.
His kitty stories are traveling willy nilly.
The itsy bitsy glitzy ditzy ritzy kitty is now….
Grooming herself, so she will be a wow.
She has not yet made us adults bow,
But she is the queen of the kibble chow.
Crunch crunch crunch she eats so loud.
Her chewing is regally arrogant, and quite proud.
In a day or two there might be quite a crowd.
She gives me a look, making me feel humbled and cowed.
What is it about itsy bitsy glitzy ditzy ritzy kitty I wonder.
That makes me feel like a fool that has been slapped by thunder.
She has look that puts me in my place, as a peon at best.
She is the haughty queen of this cat-loving nest.

Not from glitzy stars do I perfection espy,
Nor Moon's struttings so wondrous deem;
Your unfeigned pulchritude's glittering eye
Illumines every dark labyrinth of my heart.
Though Sun's poses such lustrous gleams
Upon haughty crags her gaudy rays repose,
Your Nature-gifted orbs their mimicry dims;
Bestowing brighter beams upon my course.
And let flaming meteors dead and live alike
Their ersatz grins roar across mutest skies;
Such intoxicating blazes your beauty wields,
Which polite nerves past sanest refrain tries.
Should celestial pageants their fairest cast below,
Your most natural stunts would eclipse them still;
Peerless rules that unpretensious angel-like glow.
For, why orbiting dims where reigns genuine light?

Ode
Never allow dreams to drift off in smoke
For dreamers wishes come wrapped up in hope.Quote - Poet’s own
Beneath a silvery starry night
Two lovers swoon in intense delight
You and me in my beautiful dreams
Creating magic beneath moon beams.
Blessed in splendour of the glitzy night
Wrapped in loving arms our hearts ignite
Sharing kisses from soft velvet lips
Away we drift in spiralling flips.
Every tender, rapturous caress
Is music to my soul, I confess
A taste of how heavenly it'd be
Sharing this love for eternity.
We dance up close, most seductively
Our hips gyrating impulsively
A prelude to a magical night
Love in a mystical dreamers tryst.
Never have I loved this way before
My heart has become an open door
A door only you may enter in
For you have crept underneath my skin.
Your love light outshines each bright star
Perfection to me, is what you are
The music, the whispers whilst dancing
All I crave is in your romancing.
Wish the vision would stay forever
In this dreamland of never, never
A simulated reality
In sleeps screen movie of ecstasy.
Desire you, need you, love you dearly
I couldn’t live on if you should leave me
Though you only visit in a dream
In beautiful dreams I am your queen.

Maybe earthly glimpse of heaven
Beautiful, magnificent opulence,
Bringing much glamour to my guests

You cite to tell,
A pouty play;
Yes you seem well,
Mellow as clay.
Words do not come,
Simple feels lost;
Work crafts new sums,
Poise puzzles cost.
Plain lines ooze out,
Need knows dangle;
Crazy slits shout,
Frozen deed strangles.
Time to now say,
Words on strange grounds;
Cheer goes away,
Words feel unsound.
Empty looks grand,
***** cooks fancy;
Shallow old friend,
Quirky glitzy.

glitzy colored rhinestones
popping in and out
with the help of the light
looking like pirate's loot
worn on grandma's coat
left over from 1942
a spider or a tiger
sometimes a snake
holiday brings out better ones
memories sear through relatives
glitzy colored rhinestones
pinned on those who remember

I’ve moved thirty-seven times, been employed in four hundred jobs.
People love to hire me; I am enthusiastic, fun-loving, and high-energy.
I do well on job interviews. I am also tenacious and persistent.
They think it’s hilarious that I stalk them; I cannot let my interviews go.
Been a truck driver, waitress, word processor, disc jockey, stockbroker,
teacher, cashier, writer, poet, cartoonist, painter, and I liked them all
Fifteen hundred social media friends, and I probably know half of them.
I like shiny glitzy, fun-loving people. I am a Gemini.

She was purposefully brazen, garish and flashy
Daughter of Lee, who owned a haberdashery
Her outfits were razzle dazzle, glaringly loud
That’s my daughter, her daddy bragged to the crowd
People lined up to gawk to see what she would wear
Some of them made fun of her ensemble, but she did not care
Others yelled mean things to her – vulgar and tawdry
She loved being known as outrageous, glitzy and gaudy

The cheerful, glitzy, heart-felt poem danced and skipped so gay.
With terrific happiness she felt in her soul mind.
Sharing herself joyously in a delightful way.
Sharing her words in swirls and curls, paper unlined.
