Best Frothy Poems
Along the winding skyline, a parade
Of bird-tails on flight with puffed caress
Like giant pearls woven by moonshine’s braids
A hammock of foams swerving on crowned dress
To pass unto hillsides so wholly blessed
And fluid my breath I marvel the view
Reflecting peace, clouds transparent drift
Oh,wonder of shifting faces imbue
Such tranquil gait that cruises and uplifts
Lightening my woe as hushed froths pour mist.
Clouds Contest of Barbara Gorelick
Today we are going to do an experiment;
Let us put washing powder in vinegar!
My son said.
That's when
I felt the ink
Bubbling over;
Like washing
Powder in vinegar;
In my mind.
A frothy fun;
A chemical reaction
That worked!
So the ink exploded
In my brain!
Boom!
I had to write and write;
Weave tales in
Silky paper with violet streams
Of ink
Flowing central
In my brain!
With crimson
And Azure
And green
I weaved stories of
Cerulean skies
Meadows of crayon flowers!
With rainbow ink
I weaved tales of winging birds,
Flightless birds, birds of prey,
Birds of paradises,
Birds of hell.
With rainbow ink
I weaved tales of allegories, metaphors
And matadors.
Frothy fun kept being fruity
And sad at times
For I felt the pain of
My queens and peasant girls.
Yasemin Balandi
Dedicated to my son.
Haunting and haunted,
These visages with lacy, saponaceous curds
Depending and plummeting,
Do I on the pebbled porcelaneous integument
Of the whitish shower floor scrawl.
I wonder, as frothy masses of foamy, bubbled soap
In the shower traverse mine body and ripple and course
Undulant across my sinews, driven by the pound and pour of the
Plunging, cascading cataract of pressurized shower water....
I wonder, I mull and I ponder over the
Accounting, the tally, the sum total of those
Ephemeral faces by soap and pressured water engendered:
Those ghastly and spectral faces which precipitate
Diluted, water-blasted soaps have, in
Soppy, splashy, soap-lashing
Depositions on that pebbled floor atop of which I stand
(Or did when the inspiration for this poetical work mine
Did, whilst erectly bathing, occur to me)
Yet how many multitudes of these
Through the course my myriad bathings and showerings;
How many of those horrid, demonical, haunting and haunted
Physiognomies did I of a moment
Indirectly will, if you will, into being-
Even whilst the shower coursed pluvial and pouring waters thundered all around?
Form:
Love’s reflection- we are whole
Cast beneath your frothy heart
Take heed the rocks and shallows
Kiss with painted lips
Sun shimmering o’er frothy snow
Like faeries glimmer
In far fantasy lands a-glow,
Shimmying they slither.
Crystals are glistening
Nature is listening;
Soul is awakening,
‘Tis quite a spectacular show
Sun shimmering o’er frothy snow.

the frothy sky

White evanescent waves roll on the shore
with such felicity of frothy bliss.
Rhapsodic sounds explode as they explore-
present the waiting beach their foamy kiss.

gracing growing garden gracefully
gleaming gauzy gorgeousness
forever frothy fresh fragrance
friendly frilly fragileness
lovingly languishing
lithe, light, lovely,
gardenia, gracing garden gracefully
gleaming gauzy gorgeousness
love can fill pot holes of sadness
not all of them
though
within every quilted warmth
there's pockets of
dead-dead
cold
its a must to construct
our own peace
gather it together in
heaping teaspoons
sit in its glow
thank an unseen
entity
before it crumbles
(as all goodness tends to do)
build a crude shelter from its bones
from the grace of its soul
for the hard moments are coming..
brace for the night callers and crawlers
hunker down
pray for warmth
the glory of
morning
hope lies
in the
frothy pink
horizon
of
life
