Foreshadow
Wonder when
the sun will break through
these clouds that have entered
the skies no longer blue
its favorite color.

Wonder when
these eyes will see through
the fog that has obscured
the light of the avenue
where love is discovered.

Wonder when
the tree will bear fruits
Have I given it enough water

Foreshadow
A deep feeling of foreboding
I dreamt the world exploding,
The most restless of minds
The most misery always finds,

commanding the sea and land,
makes us our fortunes understand

souls yearn for deeper meaning
sight is blind but fear is near
chanting whispers fill the air

one by one before the sun
masses gather as if one
heads...

I
Saw
The Eagle float above
The
Bluff

That
He called home

And
When he turned

For on this bluff
Above the river

Now built into the cliff
A
House of sticks
Resided where

The
Eagles

Ruled

.....Adrift...

Soothsayer's Call Poet's Lament
a leaf dances and sways in skies
painted in shades yellows and golds
soft whispers of premonitions
the changing slant of morning light

an oak bears the passage of time
a leaf dances and sways in skies
gathers with others on the ground
shadows of a summer passage

afternoon stillness after rain
clouds shadow...
