Silent Love

hello ! i utter holding fone to the ear
a sigh apprise me some one was there
not saying a word kept inhaling air
who could it be in my heat there was fear

time was midnight everyone should be slept
who is it with so much pain in his breath
it can't be her she don't know this number
its her say i love you my heart suddenly murmur

hello ! who is this second time i orate
its me your love i wanted her to narrate
I was anxious she was making me wait
like i was a fish and her silence was a bait

saying my name she said don't hang up the phone
my heart busted in tears hearing that killing tone
in a moment i realized its HER love of my life
my sole returned which was absent from a while

my hands started shivering and eyes emitting tears
after so long i felt end of sadness was near
my lips yield a smile and heart jumping from joy
but on the other side of phone my heart herd a cry

we have made a commitment we cant talk, I realized!
i felt so much helpless as i never did in my life
if i cant have her than my life worth less than a dime
Oh God loving some one in this world is it a crime?

hearing her breath i tried to match it with mine
not saying a word we talked for long a time
we were silent but our heart beat was talking
can't explain it but using silence we were stalking

that day i realized the power of love
no words can explain that silence above
if your love is true words really don't matter
to express your love u dont need to chatter

A Call To Bell

Dialing keys- g r a h a m b e l l,
Ringing.....phone......fone.......4nnnn......4n.....,
Calling-Hello...............Hello,
Graham Bell............,?,
Talking,mobile( phone),I am,
Of the French Revolution, the mobile evolution, I am,
Talking women then talking phones, are the talking points, true,I am!
With any body,anytime,any way,any where,I am,
In Big,in small,in black and in white, a life style,I am,
Touch,switch,search,which comes match,such a phone ,I am,
To all the people lone in life,as a wife,I am,
Calls come calls go,it rings and it sings what a wonder, I am,
In Smile,in cry,in sad in joy,in win and in lose, there,I am,
Kiss the lips, kiss the chins, kiss the ears, how tired,I am,
In the ups in the downs,in the right,in the left,in the dos and in the don'ts,I am,
A friend in need is a friend in deed, look,I am,
Not a Gent's wear nor a lads wear but, just a soft ware,I am,
The prime tool of the Globalization,I am,
In the left, right to heart, where the pen was,I am,
It happened the world war,if not,I am!

If that’s a heartache you’re drinking
Then to my way of thinking
You shouldn’t drink it alone
Mind if I sit with you, baby
Between the buts and the maybes
Go ahead an’ turn off your fone

The game is easy, there’s no rules
It only takes two broken fools
The stakes are high, but that’s just fine
You bet your heart against mine
You lay your cards on the line

chorus
I’ve seen that look a thousand times before
I’m here for the same reason you’re here for
I’ll help you lose that self-control
Out of a sad, weary soul
Some-times, the lonely takes its toll

So you like flirting with danger
Wrapped, in the arms of a stranger
Hey, we got nothing to lose
When your pride has been dented
It’s just a game they invented
It’s called the Honky-Tonk Blues

You came here, looking for trouble
I see your heart’s on the rubble
Freedom’s the high that you crave
Let’s pretend, that we’re winning
Start an old, new beginning
Fortune favours the brave

Chorus repeat
I’ve seen that look a thousand times before
I’m here for the same reason you’re here for
I’ll help you lose that self-control
We’re just two sad, weary souls
Some-times, the lonely takes its toll

Had Better Be Worth It

let's take a look at the beginning

wen the matters in your heart mattered to u alone

wen like BoB b4 Airplanes u wer unknown

wen the pp u had on speed dial wldn pick up e fone

n u hid the tears that only u knew wer dripping

fast forward to the here n now

to the thunderous applause u hear wen u take a bow

to the microphones that flood u to hear u speak

to how ur opinions r published week after week

who wlda thot that dis was all id take

a lil fame a lil fortune wit only jus ur soul at stake

sometimes wen the champagne wears n its quiet out

those lil flashbulbs tha go on n off its cald doubt

u knw that maybe dis lyf aint so cool

its got u dancn to their whims like okomfo anokye for the golden stool

n honestly hon who u tryna fool

so uv got mags writng down ur salad makn tips

n women lust afta ur collagen fild lips

u knw ur worth more han wat uv become

but u kip lyn to urself tha wats ben dun is dun

but we both know hon..it's only just begun...

On Wanting To Become a Bachelor

Less any objection with the missus,
versus never experiencing living alone
well...yes during that rough patch,
(sans during early adolescence),
I existed in a bone

huff fied impenetrable cocoon,
and just maybe before
yours truly dies, a clone
can be created from
stem cells of this doggone

melon collie, whimpering
beastie boy finally revelling,
where destiny does enthrone
me rendering unfettered
with round the cluck nymph fone

mani yolk hen pecking, nagging,
and leaching... from blood sucking
vampire spouse foregone
as a "bad" dream worse
than getting Rhode

Island sized gallstone
removed subsequently
saving said as gemstone
whiling away hours, days, weeks...
chiseling away at my gravestone,

no matter yours truly will get cremated
ashes scattered, liberated, and dispersed
finally exempt from grindstone,
where thee spirit
of Math Hew Homophone

Scott Harris appeased
as powdery gray flecks
similar to limestone,
that swirl reintegrating with Earth,

this quirky I poetically intone,
and soundlessly utter from jawbone,
perhaps communicating more
clearly by knucklebone.

Friendship

So here we are Laura, reached your 40th birthday
seems like only yesterday, on tower green we`d play
our childhood a close knit experience, happy memories no doubt
"its twenty five past, cant go to work without a shirt " Gail would shout.

Running to the shop as kids for a penny chew
always garaunteed Michelle was after you.

Laura you would sneak off,to meet your now husband Paul
me and Gail peaking through the window, backs against the wall.
Always dressed immaculately, and a heart of gold
for this is such a commodity, that cannot be bought or sold.

A beautiful natural lady, you have gone far in your life
raising three beautiful girls, and Paul are man and wife.
I am so proud to have you, and simply call my friend
i know that we will have this bond, right til the very end.

If i could have my time again, i wouldn`t change a thing
the lives we have lead, not alot more can bring.
We all settled down in life, that we cannot moan
but if ever i feel i need my friend, she at the other end of the fone.

Happy 40th birthday Laura love from Skin and Paul ***

Only a scooter as if
a Scooter
       was just a toy

The memory disguised
as an errant thought
Brought tears of joy

To a man returning to a boy
Before he could possible
die alone at home again and again

Alone becomes his synonym for a
A European Fone

Disconnected from
a forgotten number
	Written on discarded paper

Memories default into faultiness
Thoughtless defaults into
a sign of senselessness

The old the deaf and blind
Await whatever is nameless
                        but next

The blind man on the scooter
Stopped at the corner
                      perplexed

But still attempts to fit in and
Cannot comprehend

The times and how behind
He has become

The scooter turns the corner
                 And he is gone

Cheap Days

Friday nights are the nights to show
dat you have been slaving all week.
The nights where all the shining bits
and pieces come out. Ladies talk in
loud gale voices, showing off new
dresses and shoes they can hardly
walk in. When guys pretend that
they own d town screaming 'money
aint a thing'! But den we all know
that every quid made within d week
jumps out the window. Bar hoping is
the theme of the night, loud music
and lumpy bodies swaying to the
beat. Hardly are the lyrics heard and
off key is it always reproduced. My
favourite part is watching the
unbelievable amount of alcohol
consumed. This nearly always
creates this belief of invisibility. Then
it happens, the first vomit for d
night. Some unlucky cleaner is going
to be cursing his mind off soon. Its
almost 3am, the magic moment
when you remember you are in the
age of technology.....cell fone! Aha!
One of the little wonders of some
dumb but smart fool's brain wave.
The call for the ride home after
tripping over almost every
miraculously propped up curb.
Unlucky day and you find yourself on
d floor blaming everybody but your
careful self! Another night well
spent, and tomorrow comes with the
well earned hang over. But for now
all that matters is you made d best
of your weekly wage! Kudos! Shite!
Totally forgot, the rent is due by the
moro! You best just drink a little
more and block the thought of the
caretaker!

Till the Next Leap Year

It's another new uncommon day
A day that comes just once in every four yrs
I'm happy I'm alive to see today
God I'm most grateful
Facebook won't be able to bring up this memory until the next for years
I won't be able to check the memory from this fone then, cos I'd av changed it
More grey hairs, new look,
Wife and children hopefully
More friends, some betrayals
Plenty success and achievements
Better fones, better life
Older ( but younger in mind and wiser

Wishing my brother success in his exam
I love my mother, love my father
Love my brothers , love my family
My special love to Oloye Adeyinka Olufunmi. Waiting for your man.
My apologies to Tosin Oloye, forgive me.
I love and respect my BBL alwaz and ever
I love myself, love my life
Love and respect my friends
God bless NOSDRA zones and HQ
Love my colleagues, God bless u all
Till 2020, LOVE YOU ALL

My Piece

MY PIECE MY PISS

You're such a beautiful creation
Unique among all creatures
Your brilliancy is unhidden
Voice like that of the angels
Smiles like attractive cheese

Your set of teeth is a charm
Sparkling like the galaxies
Always lost when stare at ur lips
Still can't rid my ming off it's spell
Nose too good for just a smell

Those thick and dark eyebrows
Stroking my nails thru it as I browse
It's all I need to have my anger dowsed
With or without you in blouse
I'm glad I'd you housed

But....

The pines of the apples are numerous
That makes you very dangerous
I don't consider you religious
Even your ways are hazardous
And you are too furious and callous

Your beauty is but just a trap
It doesn't deserve a clap
The evil in you flows like a tap
You speak crap and u got a slap
I did that to avoid your stab

Cutie, a name I gav you since our date
Still in my fone up till date
Being with you was just a waste
An experience copied not for paste
Now I know how you taste

Came into my life with a smile
But left behind a bunch of bile
Bile strong enough to pollute the Nile
Your stay was never worth the while
When next I see you I'll run a mile

( .....To be continued)
