The things
we do come back
in three fold I am told
Hold this knowledge close to your heart
so what you choose to do unto others
is done with kindness, care and love
and in the end good will
come back to you
times three.

(Why I'm Still Breathing)

When the cow was dry, she was compliant.
When she calved, she turned vicious
and no fence could hold her,
but she gave milk in abundance,
and Dad refused to sell her.

She chased Mother 'round and 'round the barn
until Mom panicked, climbed the corner logs,
and perched under the roof,
clinging like a cicada shell on a weed-pod.
Beasty pawed and bellowed until Dad came home.
"I could gain on her on the corners,"
Mother said, "because I could turn faster,
but she gained on me on the straightaway."

Plug-ugly tore through the fence,
into the garden, where Mom and I worked.
"Run, Cona Faye, run," my mother shouted.
How did she know? The cow passed Mother
and thundered straight for me. I ran.

At the fence, snorts filled my ears. Hot breath
steamed my back. I saw myself stomped,
pulverized into the dirt. I turned, screaming
at full volume, and flailed my arms
like a windmill in a strong wind.
That old red cow locked her front legs
and skidded like a freight train on full brake.

I seized the moment, and scaled that rail fence.

(X-Factor)

All bad shall pass I know it's true too
Cause with God nothing's impossible
He gives always love hopes dreams
I'll keep Him forever
Deep inside my heart
Pursue His ways
So very close
With God
Can have
Joy
Joy
Can have
With God
So very close
Pursue His ways
Deep inside my heart
I'll keep Him forever
He gives always love hopes dreams
Cause with God nothing's impossible
All bad shall pass I know it's true too.

Premium Member Eligibility Factor

it can be a market crash
a global outbreak
it can be a Mount Saint Helen
for me it was Northridge, California
January 17th, 1994
I saw myself in the eyes of children
hungry, shocked, confused
clinging to mothers
their reality and the earth
both trembling underfoot
I was given no script, no rules to follow
all that was asked of me was empathy
to understand, to be one of God's children
to see nothing more became an eligibility factor
one man came bruised, bludgeoned
his stare a chisel to stone
the truth echoing from his wife
her face, her words
the doors that he crumbled
the force of his mission
to save neighbors
dozens if not more
how he flew under media scrutiny
sitting before me
my heart the only thing between them
and the miracle of sustenance
I became severed
then placed the gift of humanity
squarely at their feet

The X Factor

"The X Factor"

hunger does strange things
to souls running on empty
last stop, full to the brim

a journey unravelling
ravenous poetry sings
other broken hearts in

how much do words mean?
how much do they sting?
Inside wants out in everything

in everything,
we believe,
we stir uneasily to let in

life hides inside stories
lost hidden gems live somewhere
buried in all the dirt deep deep beneath

above magnetises
cloud busting
some souls reign miraculously

outside of the assizes

more telling than tears
lets the light
shatter feeble faux in

gleaming
victorious
mesmerising

something unknown
it's completely foreign
something sincere

in time to be made clear

Factor of Life

My only litmus test is my brain
My heart stopped when I saw the real nature of the factoid
Can I be seeing you for the first time ?
You are the breath I take
My feeling of expression is not only my wealth but my nature
I am a robot to your love
Your kisses are what my lips crave
Please be real and not a figment of my imagination
The existence of air and water refresh my soul
I can only see your vision if you let me
Please take my hand
The car seems to be falling over the cliff
Life is so fast
This is dying
I love it

Sometimes things happen,
Unthinkable things,
That worry and vex us,
And tear at heart strings,

And we throw up our hands,
And shout and make oaths,
And we cry and make fists,
At the wraiths and the ghosts,

Of fear and anxiety,
That enter our minds,
Forgetting it seems,
At least for a time,

That Someone's beside us,
To carry us through,
Who's been there before,
When friends were few;

And we think we're alone,
And anger sets in,
And we swear and we blame,
Our only true Friend;

But He's there and He cares,
Though we don't understand,
And He waits and He's patient,
For He does understand;

And when reason returns,
And we reach out to Him,
He'll give us His strength,
And help us again.

Just as He's always,
Done in the past,
For His love is true,
And His patience outlasts,

The slings and the arrows,
The thorns and the blasts,
Of a befuddled mind,
As we stand aghast,

For He's faithful and patient,
And true and just,
And He'll give us the strength,
To do what we must.

"BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS AND SELF CONTROL."

I Am a Factor

If I explain you, that wouldn't help you
To understand the importance of a subject,
until you don't fail, you 'll never learn the values of a thing,
doesn't matter living is balanced or unbalanced that has swing,
Changing circumstances has everyone's effect,
you need to earn each single penny that's most defect.
you can or not become rich over a night
you want to live honestly or dishonestly is our fight.
you 're educated or illiterate a way for living you need to select.
you 're sufficient or need efficiency a precess our ancestor's hope,
developed communities, broken barriers to secure progressive crop.
when you doubt, raised a question, indicates you understand lot,
you dedicate contribution is important no care subject is cool or hot.
I'm a factor to live in present to walk forward with time,
to follow the roots of a problem to find the solution of lyme.

The Minus Factor

It was time, for my audition - a nice renditition,
I came armed, nothing too predictable, with ammunition;
this offered my chance for fame, only I was to blame
if I messed up, success meant I would never be the same again.

It was good, I knew by the smile on their faces,
now I waited, standing, while my heart really races;
I knew that one juror may give me a hard time,
playing to the gallery, a mountain I might climb.

The unnecessary hype, weirdly prolonged, was irritating,
I heard the voice: 'You know what . . . . ' , procrastinating,
why can"t he just say if he liked the bloody thing or not?
as though he was on another programme and forgot.

It was tiring, waiting for all their second-guesses,
I need not have worried because I got four yesses.

My Worst Fear Factor

Ruminating over the droning sound deep down my heart
Is a nerve wrecking experience of my hidden fear
Not of any suffering nor death of my loved and dear
Neither materialistic loss is suffering's counterpart

Losing my grit and strength could be my malefactor
In the long ongoing struggles of life's voluminosity
They wallow me up in the arms of night's luminosity
The defeatist attitude of giving up is my worst fear factor

Chemistry Is the Factor

He was much younger
she caught him in love-net,
though her History was older
the stage perfectly set.

Geography and Chemistry
they must had studied well,
they were in a love spree
married life never failed.

So let it be Cougar
age not so important,
Chemistry is the factor
for marriage fulfilment.
