Best Erudition Poems
I'm sure everyone has met a few of these:
Planning on college but can't formulate a sentence
or spell shoe
Still they want a degree so they think college will do
Many leaders in the world never had a formal education
Such as Ford, Lincoln, Churchill, Truman and Edison
What they learned they acquired by their own volition
And could out shine the masses by their erudition.
Does higher education improve those who haven't
the equipment they need
Not likely because no harvest is gleaned from a field
gone to seed
Lack of learning many examples come to mind
But they're really common… not hard to find
intellectual lack includes
"Who was Plutarch? Oh it's a relative of Pluto"
"Isn't that something everyone should know ?"
"In Ancient times there was WWII"
"Not many people then only a few"
"What is Sagittarius, can't locate it"
"Something about archery…maybe Robin Hood
would fit"
"I'm surprised about Robin Hood that you know
about him"
"Well it's an eating place where you can carry out
or eat in"
So those dim in the head don't waste your
resources
By going to school to take erudite courses
Not a thing will stick in your head from that
school
And it should be remembered not even God can
teach a fool

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.
He made metalanguage of his own metalanguage and therefore had long since distanced himself from us, behold, he lived in the limbo of a virtual athenaeum and there sprinkled with letters and meanings the dough of bread-word that he consumed in the semantic fever of his post-erudite routine. From above, he saw that the world was collapsing for the lack of reason to live, people banging heads in search of the meaning of life without knowing that they were banging heads in search of the meaning of life. Never will I return to the infamous hall of commonplace, he said. I live here where the language beast lives, and there isn't a day that I don't sacrifice a little sanity for the sake of lexical adventures, he said. Tomorrow I discover that time as well as grammar can expand, that space is elastic and the verb dominates everything, he said. For now, the soap opera of daily human life and its stupid rush towards nothingness is enough for me, he thought. Then he closed one of his books and the world went dark. He smoothed his hair with one hand and with the other pointed at a cloud in the sky. - Hey cloud, I'm catching you, he said already hovering over this metaphor.
Erstwhile was my eye blind
To your most pristine shine,
Which best scans eschews
With a graceful guiling sign.
Yet now may my pupil sight
Your wondrous doings espy,
Which men's erudition mock
With wisest strategem high.
Most sterling sense I salute
In your ageless infinite trails,
Which world's charlatan wits
Shame as brazen lying tales.
Invincible light at last I find
Cached in your lasered writ,
Which does all sciences' ink
Render mere deluding crypt.
