You will remove the roadblocks that block my paths each day
You will not hamper what I do to succeed in my own way
You will not play your high pitched notes within my deafened ears
And take your hands from off my mind, and stop it with your fears
You will stop harassing me because I belong to Him
You will remove your minions now who paint the shadows grim
You will realize I have power that goes beyond this realm
He who shared the victory is stationed at the helm
You cannot overcome Him or steal me from His Father
You do not have the power to take my soul, don't bother
You will listen to my orders and heed the words I say
I know my place within the kingdom and don't get in my way
You will stop it with the H.A.A.R.P. toy and taking people down
And cease from tearing up the homes in neighborhoods and towns
And halt your little puppet show in Washington, DC
And get your hand now off this nation's blood bought liberty
You better realize you're in for a fight, a fight you will not win
I've been bought with sinless blood, by a King who had no sin
He's the one you came against and failed to win His throne
But that belongs to no one else except the Cornerstone
You will stop your taunting that amounts to nothing good
And leave this house and take your bones that wear that dark robed hood
Ever since the dawn of time you’ve constantly deceived
But I know Him whom I’ve believed so consider yourself relieved

You stood there in the empty room
with sadness on your face
a memory of years gone by
lay silent in its place
A house you’d built
with your own hands;
no longer yours to own
against your will, abandoning
this place you once called home
The old wood floors were splintered now
and flagstones on the hearth
seemed to whisper "take us too
don’t leave us in the dark!”
A tired broom leaned wearily
against the fireplace
and wind that moaned so eerily
blew through without a trace
It rattled soft the dingy glass
within the windowpane
and seemed to call
“this house will fall to eminent domain”

Beetles, most likely, felled the giant.
A gruesome deterioration,
of a quiet magnitude,
ravaged inward.
Until, in the cold night,
root structure surrendered
from hardened ground,
to a misery of horizontal dust.
And where once the domain of birds,
was glorified above,
now gives shelter to ants and grubs.
Golden bark breathes no more.
A deathly gray instead petrifies,
the deceased former shade giver.
And yet as cell churns to molecule,
and molecule devolves its complexity,
soil enriches.
Earth becomes fertile.
And the dust again gives way to life.

The Crown
David J Walker
I can sense the advent
of the harvest to come
The bees have retreated
High on the nectar of a successful hunt
Home is the hive
Alive with instinct
Survive
The colony sings in a low hum
Of favorite hymn’s sung
To the dead queen
Who can replace her
Among the close cast
The vast number of children
In line for the thrown
A King…in the Queen's domain?
I can sense the advent
Of the darkness of
Another fall
Mistaking
a bitter fruit for freedom

When in pain,
It seems our life is only pain
And it is hard to see a place
With no pain.
Don't feed a pain
By looking at all the other pains
That in your life you can locate
Find the sane.
Find the cane to stand up again
Let your eyes rest upon flowery terrain
A happy place.
If it rains
Think of it as God's cleaning day
Smell the fresh smell of it and regain
A fragrant domain.

Mother Nature, divine and yet so whimsical
Her flowing streams fall warm, healing and abiding
A darkened blue-green sea, maroon and sapphire shores,
cradle us asleep, with your gentle waves
harboring the dour rude awakenings
when eddying rapids currented by the tide
Consume the uncertainty and the lies of the day tearing the heart apart
Suspend judgment and attain tranquility of mind
White light and red, filters a pink-tint, nebulous fringed rose gold
I’m graced in your stellar light, a cosmic pearl
Garnered from my poems:

The Ocean Beckons

Woven Worlds Of Alice Lidell

Inspired by Timothy Lee
Long had his image filled space in my brain
where thoughts of him aimed my fantasies flow
towards pretense he reigned my heart’s domain.
As desires would show, so did my fears grow
over his possible rejection blow.
One night, when attending the same card game,
he swayed us alone in romance’s name
and shared his rich domain of desires known
matched my own excited, ignited flame.
Now, we share a domain love honed and grown.

As the king of my domain
I feel like I'm going insane
When the chapters of my life just pass me on by
Can't figure out why
When I live each chapter with plenty of laughter
None of it fit like a good mitt
This is when we must admit
Forever love has to be the right fit
I took each day to love you in my own special way
Didn't lie or sneak around for a different flavor of pie
Like the sunset reflects across the bay
It's with my words I must say
I gave it my all in every way
That is not to say we had our fair share of displays
Of our love that takes us away
We sure had plenty of days
When our relationship was in complete disarray
We both had our bad days
I will be the first to say
We will always have our love that came into play
In love, we must keep our eyes on all things that apply
Both of us have to always try
But like the stars that fall from afar
We have too many scars
It's impossible for us to fix
Our love we will so miss
Understanding our love is broken
I no longer feel outspoken
Feeling like I am choking
We can't just keep on stroking
Neither one of us have been coping
Stopping our love from no longer floating
Hoping we can both agree
This love is not what we both could see
Too many broken promises
We no longer look each other in the eyes
I can't take anymore lies
The whole thing wants to make me cry
Oh how this love has cut me down to size
Trust me we are better off saying goodbye
To our love that we have to let lye
So we both don't feel like we just want to die
Living a lie from our love that just passed on by

Underfoot, the snapping sound
of frozen leaves
curse Winter's name;
as my frosty footsteps
reduce them to memories.
Fluffy flakes of virgin snow
morph into swarms of ice pellets;
biting and stinging,
like an infestation of army ants.
A wanton wind, like a jilted bride;
slaps my face with a vengeful hand.
Autumn is stripped of its color;
leaving skeletal trees now stripped of leaves.
And I feel the brunt of Winter's wrath;
descend as She lays claim to Her icy domain.

Out of this fog comes the
Black and yellow eyes,
Raining from this fiery spirit of
The peregrine falcon
Riding on her powerful wings
Catching our breath with bursts of speed
Her teardrop shape, free falling through this air
Hunting prey with lightning strike claws
That unbreakable spirit and perfect domain
Deep inside of this fog lives the peregrine

Out of a neon jungle the big cats prowl
the wind in the willows unrecovered,
for when the cats and wind begin to howl
I am stoned and the boys truly mothered!
So I rip in and bowl an inswinger
and rap ‘em on the pads…”howzat?” I shout,
pivoting to see a pointing finger,
but the bastard umpire says “Not Out!”.
Behold the shot, the call of “no, yes, no”…
a sledge and slog on the concrete wickets
and puffs of stupefying herb billow
the post-match bar in the oak tree pickets.
For a play and a prey the big cats reign
when the Leopards are loose in The Domain.

Pic above is of Auckland Domain.
*The Leopards are a cricket team.
*Cricket bats are made from willow trees.
*Mothered is slang for extremely drunk.
*Inswinger is a type of bowling delivery.
*If a bowler appeals to an umpire for a
dismissal and he agrees the batsman is
out he points and raises his finger.
*Sledge is a cutting insulting remark.

The Purity Wheat Domain
There on the sandy ground a mountain grew
Near the motionless skeleton deserts shore
An empty basin’s brain of dirt and grains
Exploded out exposing the great dome
Raised a monolithic surreal thing
Never before seen
A birth from hell to here
Burst forth with forces of its own
With fertile soil
In truth, too few can know or fathom
A conundrum sprung from sand
The purity wheat domain with plants came up
From atoms or magic
No one knows
From something or nothing known to man
Remains a mystery
It came with water in a storm
Or some other form or fashion
Upon a force of plate tectonics
Or from some other source
Not yet determined
Such Inconsistencies found in nature
Come few and far between
We keep our water grounded
Our minds as well are wet
We keep our land close to the vest
What else to guess
This is much more than we can handle
Less understand
We’re happy for more land to farm
And climb
The Purity Wheat Domain stands high
All we can do is sigh

Eminent domain
The money is all dried up like the grass on the side of the road
I said the money's all dried up like the grass on the side of the road
feels like dragging a heavy load
accross the the earth spinning out of control
run by people that have no soul
aint know doctor gonna kill my pain
feels like our world is gonna burst into flames
my God how I wish it would rain
no work today
soon I'll have no place to stay
because I can't even rent this cheap
their gonna put me out on the street
my wife my kids and me
and I can't wait until my God claims
eminent domain
my God how I wish it would rain
is anybody else feeling my pain
I guess this is what happens
when you charge poor people usury
and all of our lenders are guilty
now how do you like the penalty
stiffen your neck and your gonna find
that this is only the beginning
now all the tax moneys thrown out and wasted
and I'm out on the street stone cold and naked
think your heaven wont be my pain
now the money all dried up like the grass on the side of the road
my how God I wish it would rain
let the humble receive their rights

Hallowed earthly spot
Friar's most sacred domain
Soulful presence felt
Impossible to ignore
Spiritual implication
Seeps into every fiber
Ancient Friary
One continuous prayer
Petitions in wind
Like whisper on subtle breeze
Rustling over silent grave
Empathic comprehension.
