A Fragrant Domain

When in pain,
It seems our life is only pain
And it is hard to see a place
With no pain.
Don't feed a pain
By looking at all the other pains
That in your life you can locate
Find the sane.
Find the cane to stand up again
Let your eyes rest upon flowery terrain
A happy place.
If it rains
Think of it as God's cleaning day
Smell the fresh smell of it and regain
A fragrant domain.

Brilliant, Caroline. We have to step out of our pain to see the resources that surround us -- sights and scents that can lead us back to the "happy place." Another delight for my favorites. Love, Carolyn (will return from vacation tomorrow night)

So well written, Caroline! I suffer from sciatica for three days no and it is quite painful. Only good that I still have a cane from ma former mother in law which is quite helpful especially in the morning when getting off my bed. Thank you for your ongoing kind comments. Und alles Gute für die kommende Woche!...Gert
