Best Coruscation Poems

Premium Member In Loving Memory of You

In memory of you and all the beauty I behold.
I will listen to the laughter's and discern which one was yours
I would play the music that I know you would wish to hear
And dance on the same footsteps wearing your shoes
As I float dancing with you just one more time
And when we are done, I will hold your hand
Pull you towards me one more time
And see forever in your eyes

And when tomorrow comes
And it's my turn to dance again with you,
I will flow you to the Milky Way
Where all the stars will look upon us
With coruscation envy

Premium Member angel -

wispy …

tendrils of light
faint, hushed feathers of trickling lucence
an impish muster of sprites
shimmering in a mosh pit swirl of
proscribed whispers, limpid
absconding the darkness, once bound
giggling to rest on the cool, flat sand
content to adorn whate'er surface it bespokes
(blessed be that which it may grace
though by happenstance alone)
coruscation, set alight
Indulgence for its own regard
drowning joyfully for
the sake of a thirst insatiable
and crimping the fine edges of patience
a breath of the firmament
sighs sent forth from the sky itself
brisk and aromatic
just keen enough to rouse …
lashes bat, soft
then quick ... and quick again
oh, the rich and sultry sin beneath
if but a gaze should settle upon you …
exist not, the coffers to equate such worth -
she is divine purity, sublime
and it is no mystery, the light hence
it was borne here for her singular revelation
that no eye EVER strain to behold her countenance
that no ear ever long for her voice
or no heart know her absence
she is the maelstrom of Heaven's shining gasp
and the custodian of dreams
winged and awakened …

amaranthine.

Cogito Ergo Sum Confusion

What if the great Rene Descartes,
Renaissance man of many parts.
for all his fame and coruscation
is nothing but a fine creation
of my own imagination?

Philosophically disabused.
I think therefore I am

confused.

I Wish Not To End

I feel sparkle in my eyes, with the strange light..

I embrace a moment , with a pretty sight..

Don't know what anything else I want from life..

I just feel that this is the completion of life..

I see the new in my life..

I wish... I wish not to end the beauty of these days and nights..

I feel coruscation in the sky, with the desirable might..

I embrace a moment , with a pretty sight..

Don't know why I feel this enough for a whole life..

I just feel that this is the culmination of my whole life..

I see the unprecedented happiness in my life..

I wish.. I wish not to end the beauty of these days and nights..

Premium Member The Contrast

In slumbering slope they lay,
their gaiety snores in rhythmic peaks of cadences,
The lily livered japes
Kings from central castings,
Heroes of one hour,
jostling for President with mere words
Resigned to bed now, save one.
Cowards, afraid of prison walls
seeking fame by fraud.

Oh Fame, how Disinterested
oh time, how revealing
motives concealed but not to all,
they were boys all along
impressing us by publicity
with drama for the surface

But the sternest stood alone
though jeered and calumniated, yet undeterred
taunted by the guns of the oppressors
marooned in their prison
confined to Abuja
denied of dignity
Yet his passion soars with coruscation of brilliancy

The quest for freedom stems from the heart
the cause for which he dared a tyrant
who sought a cause by a fraudulent jurist
to make him bend or make him bow.
unlike the cowards he never stooped,
he stirred the oppressed from their slumber,
and made some men by delayed revolution.

where are all the orators who came to bury Caesar by campaign?
They snore in the bedroom unaffected by the groaning of the people
some seeking publicity by suing twitter,
others purloining at the tables of business felons.
In the struggle for emancipation,
the boys are separated from the men.

Dedicated to Omoyele Sowore
The Nigerian Born Activist
who stood alone when other younger candidates resigned to fate after the fraudulent election that imposed Buhari

Allure of Temptation

Captured by the craze
The shock of the rebounding wave
the body is taken to the grave
ding dong ding dong
what am I doing here?

The convoluted state of where I am
the howling of
the insane

I wrap my scant shawl
around my shoulders
shiver
and remember my wrongdoings

has it lead to this?
have I done something wrong?
I hate this hell
an apparent way in
with no way out

my hands are on the perspiring window
It shatters in my hands
the multitude of shards
embedded in my hands
Despite the pain I smile

Through my bewilderment
I clutch the shards,
proof of my pain,
proof of my existence
proof of my offering

I see
      a silhouette
outside my broken window
I reach out and try to grab
that cloth in reach
Dissolves into dust
and slips
            through my fingers

I dispose my sorrows
and trudge on

Throughout the sorrows
the pain
the abashing, abashment, addling, agitation, befuddlement of a maze
I'm shrouded and I'm closed.
The brilliance there I can't see
the misery that I should face

Anger
Confusion
Hatred
Despair
poverty
chaos
aren't they the same?

Condemnation
revenge
enraged
anxiety
is this another labyrinth of bewilderment?

Lonely
heartless
alone
forsaken
spurn
shun
will I always be alone?

This livid maze that never seems to have a limitation
but I
feel a passion

I behold the coruscation of the stars
and the moon and sun caress
the flowers bloom with an allure

yet I die

it is
Heaven within hell.

Premium Member Hero of An Hour

Today ignorance uttered words in the court of kings,
as we waited too long for coruscation of brilliancy,
serendipity smiled on nescient,
and crowned rebellion for one hour.

utterances from idle lips ,
foist on passerby along nature’s path,
As filthy rebel from the woodcock progeny,
Spoke with grandeur of betise.
suspense graced the rage of arrogance,

Today in the prison of the khaki boys.
 cast amongst quails and punks.
This punky nurse of innocence.
what?

Ask me not, for I will not like this,
bandy with Rampallian .

In the Dark

Below the stars and silver moon,
Abounds the coruscation of silhouetted curves.
Sinusoidal and voluptuous,
Seismic undulating and venereal.

Your mind synaptically aglow under the light,
Evokes ethereal perspicacity within my soul.
A torrent tsunami of desire thrusts my body.
Leaves me wanting to make love to you:

Make love to your mind,
Make love to your body,
Make love to your heart,
Make love to your soul.

All under the emanating fragrance of the horticultural moon.

Dark Alliance

DARK ALLIANCE

The alchemists of old sought transformation into gold
But today in an alliance with some modern necromancers
They have gained their fondest wish, created riches now untold
Since for every bane that’s real or hollow now they have the answer
A pill or two will solve your problem and should really cut the mustard
Though the end result may be that it transforms your brain to custard

The secret is: the patient base is endlessly expanding
With no diagnostic limit to the illnesses addressed
For they now invent new syndromes pharmaceuticals demanding
And print them in a book so everyone will be impressed
Repackage an old drug and then promote it as solution
To imaginary disease from psychiatrical collusion

Then if desperate at failure to subdue resistant cases
They can still resort, fall back on old tried methods to suppress
Pass a lightening bolt across the brain and neutralise all traces
Of free self determined thinking that the patient may attest
Then an ice pick in the skull will end the process of sedation
And reduce a human being to a piece of vegetation.

So as each new life is broken
There’s increasing coruscation
In the hoards these wizards cloak in
Specious science - consummation
Of that quest from days of old
To turn base metal into gold

How I Wonder What You Are

HOW I WONDER WHAT YOU ARE . . . .

The shivering grey of gloomy December’s
Sky is banished by the frost of January -
Coruscation of lights on display, sparkling embers.

We see out from inside a galactic Christmas tree
Coronated under the Pole star climactic.
Its branches are long, transparent and vanishing:
The tree’s lights look as if they are stars,
Marking the final tip of each branch;
Some lights are brighter, on the short branches;
Dimmer-colors mark more distant branch tips.
Stars mark the limits of our tree.

Essence of Light

And in this darkness
a darkness we breed
a darkness we feed
and by hope we pray for an end

To our own fumblings of blindness
the void it lives
and the void it breathes
to suffocate our belief in emptiness

Darkness we believe
more than in the passing of night
darkness
when we are unable to see the light

Day

Wrought by a stars profusion
in the coruscation of billions
lays a promise of splendour
into the heavens

We do not perceive its oceans
and we do not feel its resurrection
a promise
resting in the heart of creation

Darkness

And we seek escape
clinging to the fluffy toy of hope
and all is the darkness with which we create
this comedian of our tragic hope

Light ( Life )

By informational essence
a living particle of the sun
by eyes, by emotion and by its experience
witnessed

Light
into water, into blood, into wine
to receive
and then to see

Darkness we believe
more than in the passing of night
true darkness we receive
when we refuse to see the light

Quote: "Lovers have heartaches that can't be cured by drugs or sleep, or games, but only by seeing their beloved" By Rumi

             **********

In the garland of ailments, we sip nepenthe,
anodyne tinctures in elegant flasks—
murmurous promises, beauteous masks,
each fard a façade, each pill a palimpsest
of pain rewritten in mellifluous ink.

Pneumology sings in stertorous sighs,
dyspnea dances under the aegis of relief.
We stroll through the lanes of this lush haven.
The breathtaking tablets gaze into bliss.

What trendy medicine pills and supplies
Supply human beings with many ways to support?
I share on the matter of preventing slurs.
The breakdown of moiety and the rise of risk.

For even the most ductile clay
may crumble in the quagmire of misuse.

In the seraglio of spurious bliss,
the simple and the iconoclast alike
grasp the absurdity of escape.
Acherontic powders, hexed and hissing,
wafture through the penumbra of parties,
where flapdoodle masquerades as rapture.

fear grips the veins—
a jussive urge, impetuous and egregious.
We extemporize joy, inhale incarnadine dusk,
and resile from reason with pertinacity.

turbulent dawns, wan and woebegone,
usher in ischemia’s kiss,
a paucity of comeliness,
a summary of sorrow.

The lush becomes lurid,
the sumptuous turns stygian.
Even the most miraculous odyssey
may cease in necrotic silence.
Meliorism in time to come

Yet still, amid the desiccation,
a scintilla of optimism coruscates.
The riparian soul, lithe and lit with Love,
may manipulate a raw moiety of meaning.

Through the shield of empathy,
the one who heals
may reclaim the palimpsest of self.
Not all who inhale are lost—
Some merely seek the empyrean
through alternate doors.

Let us not belittle
the addict, the patient, the seeker.
Each belongs to a consanguineous ilk
of yearning, of zoetic ache.

So let us offer not just palliation,
but propinquity,
not just summary judgment,
but the sacred burnished balm
of understanding.

Let Love be the panacea,
let compassion be the coruscation
that flickers in the penumbra
of every pharmacological night.
