Paracosm

Insomnia turns my heart young again
Tossing and turning, I wonder where I am
Unaware of what restlessness brings
"What do I want?!!" I call out to it and rethink
The child in me awakens to remind me
When my roads cross a world with a spark
That lives hither and carries secrets of another

That speaks of Lincoln and Bose alike
That loves Sanskrit and French alike
That sings Del Rey and Kishore alike
That reads Coelho and Kalidas alike
That pursues Vivekananda and Socrates alike
That pictures Whitman and Tagore alike
That analyzes Schrodinger and Raman alike
That follows Christ and Shiva alike
That lives frequencies and poetry alike
That travels to Darjeeling and Prague alike
That lives under stars and blankets alike
That walks on deserts and oceans alike
That dances on passion and romance alike
That burns with fire and desire alike
That believes in Science and Magic alike
That knows love and oneself alike
That covers journeys and conquests alike

That spark, yes that spark, is what makes my heart skip a beat
And takes me to dreams and hopes again every night.

Premium Member Because I Live

The possibility of making a dream come true it's what makes life interesting (Quote by Paulo Coelho)

Our elders say: one more day
to get up is one more day to enjoy.
One more day to get dressed,
to open the window
and watch the beauty around.
Another day of troubles to face,
to struggle, another big mountain to challenge.
A new page to read,
a new program to watch,
a new lesson to learn.

New steps to rehearse in the morning
for the the colossal performance at night.
A dream to fight to wake up all the senses.
Wonderful people you have to meet
makes you forget about
the wrong ones you've met.

What it is written,
sometimes can't be deleted,
but it's always a way to rectify
and start a better story.

Because I live,
I want to shout to the whole world
that I'm alive, that I want to fly.
Because I live,
I am a person that fights everyday with myself,
the monsters inside,
my concerns, my family, my friends, my job,
my what will be the next?
But I am alive,
that's much more that I can ask for.
Something that means
that I still can breath the air,
pulluted, but the one we have.
I can watch the ocean,
the sunsets and the new dawns.

Perhaps my life is not what I expected,
perhaps everything I'm living now
is not as far as I painted when I was starting.
But the years makes you go through unexpected
small roads, that one day
can become highways to run on.

Still young enough, deep inside,
to do many performances.
I choose not to act in the limelight,
but in the right stage
with the spotligh shining on me,
because I live,
and I want to be alive
for the next show to be played.

Premium Member Love with Wild Abandon

"Love is an untamed force. When we try to control it, it destroys us. When we try to imprison it, it enslaves us. When we try to understand it, it leaves us feeling lost and confused. — Paulo Coelho

When first I'd peered into his dark brooding eyes
there was an undercurrent, fathoms deep pulling me in.
A storm brewed inside of me and each time we met
I submitted to my desires and he to his, without regret.
To have denied it would have destroyed us.

He was never mine for the taking
but it was only for him that my heart ached.
We shared a passion, unrestrained— untamed.
We loved with wild abandon.

There was lightning between us.
Thunder roared in my head with each deepened kiss.
I heard it in his breathless sighs—
felt it when his fingertips danced across my skin.
It was a serenade of lovers that we sang together
as if each time was a renewal, an awakening of Spring.

Time rushed in months—years spilled in an hourglass.
The feast is still as sweet, the passion as strong.
We'll not be deprived the love we savor with wild abandon
nor the silent whispers to each other's hearts.

Premium Member Walking With Faith

For yesterday is but retention and tomorrow is only a vision
Encouragement is filled with strength and vigor
Love is not easy to anger
Life is not easy and it’s unpredictable
But keep your faith and you’ll be able
It’s not as impossible as it may seem
Believe in yourself and follow that dream
Never lose faith in others
We have to help and love one another
Challenge everything
Never back down to anyone or anything
Perseverance and determination they are one in the same
Inspire to better is the name of this game
Walk by faith not by sight
Keep your head up so it can lead you to walk right

2 Corinthians 5:7 - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

“None of us knows what might happen even the next minute, yet still we go forward. Because we trust. Because we have Faith.”

Paulo Coelho

Paulo Coelho - a great writer
He was not only a writer of faith
But also a pilgrim and alchemist

His words have a message
Messages in which defined a great secret
From the secrets in which transform a person's life with one's own rewards and harmonies
To the secrets in which discovers another person's hidden betrayal

Paulo Coelho - a great writer
He was not only a writer of God
But also an outsider and foreigner

His words have meanings
Meanings in which are defined in a mysterious way
From the path of a fifth mountain and the flowing rivers
Even the path of the desert treasures and a winter's death

Paulo Coelho - a great writer
He was not only a writer of life
But also an warrior and winner

His books have a destiny
Destinies in which are defined in an amazing description
From knowing the battles for happiness and triumphs
To knowing the feelings of a love so deep and forbidden

The legend of his great adventures
The pleasures of enjoying the endless madness
Through the eyes of the thoughtful person
We've come to know the great legend of Paulo Coelho

Hey Man

Hey man
Why are you always on my mind
Here and there, once again
I can't relax ' cause of you

Hey man
Why are you as hot as that bright light
I feel like that damn butterfly
Attracted by the cruel fire

I'm close to you, my thoughts are full
Of lovely vicious things
We feel it clear, we are almost near
"impress me" is our theme

Hey man
Why are you holding me so tight
You say a word - I have goosebumps
You're so close - I'm passing out

Hey man
Why am I loving you so loud
I use your name as talisman
I dive deeply into your charm

I know that everybody has their own stars*
Their own stars
Their own stars
You are my stars

The universe conspired to help me find us**
Find us
Find us
I've found us

Let Passion Win

" We all know fear. But passion makes us fearless."...Paulo Coelho

                         Let Passion Win

A terrified heart, insecure in the mountain of unknown tomorrow..
Let Passion fly, vanquish and flee the fear of fall.
A whimpering mind, entangled in the ocean of turbulent sorrow...
Let Passion sail, conquer and reign the storm over all.

Israel So He Calls It

You call it Israel carelessly
You call it that thoughtlessly
Unquestioning is it okay?
Unnoticing the decay
The strong hold of all the Palestinians
The firm desires it will be free again
Did you see or have you went blind
To all the things they did
To all the slaughter
They have caused
To the destruct of all homes
To the raze of all mosques
To the perish of many souls
Strong great Palestinians
They did not do but stand
Defending their beloved country
They did not do but fight back
For what the Jews did
And you call it
You call it again
Israel…
For if they killed, burned, and tortured
It will never be theirs to own
It will never be theirs to name
It will never, never be theirs to cling too
It has been, is being, and will be
Only Palestine…

Beautiful Bounteous Blessings

"Today don't beg, don't ask, just thank God in silence for all the blessings in your life. Each morning brings a hidden blessing; a blessing which is unique to that day. You deserve all the good things that happen to you."

~ Paulo Coelho

Auspicious azure atoll with augmented aurora
Bounteous bells bringing in buoyant breeze
Chiming cornucopia of coloured circles
Drawing drapes of dulcet dreams in delight
Emanating effervescence of enchanting echoes
Frivolously flying fervent fruits of father's faith
Gratitude garnered graciously in gaiety golden gospels
Humming harmonious hopes of humane harbinger
Iridescent immaculate ink of inbound ideologies
Jubilant jar of judicious joy in juggles
Kernels of kindness kindred in kaleidoscope
Luminescent leaves with lustre of love language
Mother's memoirs of mesmerizing morning mellow
Nurturing nascent nights with neon nuzzles
Opulent overwhelming opportunities of optimism
Pinnacles of permeating pleasure peeking in panacea
Quintessential quilt of quietude quenching quests
Radiant realms of rapport reviving a rhapsody
Soft silver slumber sparkling in sanguine serendipity
Translucent threads of tenacious tangible treasures
Unearthed utopia upholding ushered upbeats of urges
Veracious variance vibrating valiantly in vicinity
Wonderful white wisps of warm whispering waves
Xenon xing from xenial xylophones of xander xenia
Yellow yarns of yonder yesterdays yielding youthfulness
Zooming with zillion zestful zigzags to zealous zenith

Premium Member Of Infinity

We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity" ~Paulo Coelho

Am I dancing in the eddie's of infinity,
Swirling stardust on a cosmic journey
Without beginning, without ending ~
In whirlpools of light and color
And unimaginable glory?

I feel helplessly small
Trapped in this body made of clay,
Gazing up into the unattainable height
Of stars and galaxies
And light at the edge of the universe.

Infinity cannot be measured
By the finite machinations of mathematicians.

How do I measure the ether?
How do I become stardust
Swirling and dancing in the eddies
And whirlpools of Infinity?

Am I a traveler on a cosmic journey,
Or simply a dreamer of transitory illusions?

A Eulogy For My Bookshelf

It all started with Rowling and Gandhi but you wanted more. Remember when Paulo Coelho joined in and brought Milton along with him. Wasn't that a party. You started craving attention and soon this family added Orwell, Kafka, Dostoyevsky and Plato.

It all started with a water chestnut wooden emptiness. But there were no bounds of your happiness when you smelled your first book. The crisp sound of its pages and the warmth in its content. I remember your eyes lit up and every time that I took that book, there was a morose silence in you.

It all started with that fresh paint you got a year back that turned things around. There was a fear at first, of losing your sanity and then there was nothing. You added Victor Hugo to your collection that year and loved it thoroughly. I remember the first rain, and the pain it put you through. Those irreparable damage it caused and the silence caught you again.

It all started a month after that horrid rain, when you got your favorite chestnut wood again and added 16 books to your family. Like an old grandpa, you still reign proudly over your victories. I remember you crying when you had to let go of Farkle that night.

Its still not over, shelf, there are plenty of people waiting to join you in your journey. All your infants, now grown so much, still helps in changing the life of so many others. So many stories yet to come and so many lessons yet to learn. It's always a start for you. But for now here's another book waiting to be a part of your kingdom.

Premium Member We Loved with Wild Abandon: full version

Love is an untamed force.

It was sensual tension, the kind a woman never forgets.
A storm brewed inside of me and each time we met
I feared lightning had struck— a bolt to my heart.
His touch seared my thoughts with a burning flame
but I cared not that it might lead to my demise—
I submitted to my desires and he to his, without regret.
To have denied it would have destroyed us.

He was never mine for the taking
but it mattered not when he drew near.
It was only for him that my heart ached.
We shared a passion, unrestrained— untamed.
We loved with wild abandon,
and in his arms, there was nothing I need fear.

I denied the shame I should have felt
but I was not going to be berated by anyone
or anything. A passion like ours had to be satisfied.
A bond from which we never wanted to be freed.

There was always lightning between us.
Thunder roared in my head with each deepened kiss.
I heard it in his breathless sighs against my ear—
felt it when his fingertips danced across my skin.
I murmured against his stubbled cheek
of a hunger I'd never had sated—
a thirst I'd never thought to slake.
It was a serenade of lovers that we sang together
as if each time was a renewal, an awakening of Spring.

Love was always like a torrid storm at his side,
We floated on waves higher than at flood tide,
crashed in its ebb when desire was fulfilled.
Uninhibited, he sought my lips, and we feasted
without need or want for anything more.
Time rushed through our months together,
years as if they were grains spilled in an hourglass.
The feast is still as sweet, the passion as strong.
If we're wrong to feel the tethering we share—
neither of us care, for we will not be deprived
the love we savor with wild abandon
nor the silent whispers to each other's hearts.

Moirai

"I believe we all have the choice as to whether we fulfill our destiny,
but our fate is sealed." ~ Paulo Coelho

Clotho is the savvy spinner Goddess
Weaving the destiny of man flawless,
With the twirl of her gossamer hands
She creates vibrant multihued bands.

Across the heavens her domain spreads
With the web of shining silken threads
She garners the straying morning mist
and the sparkling sunbeams in the twist.

So that my soul may find salvation
and save me from my own damnation
She blazes a trail on my pliable soul
and the reins of my Fate duly control.
