When I think of the friends I have got
But couldn’t say the precise moment
When friendship has been formed.
A vessel filled drop by drop till last dropped.
In earlier age, the friendship you beget
Are difficult to leave, impossible to forget.
I keep friends as a miser does his treasure
Then give and take, I don’t ever measure.
Trust and selflessness are true attributes
That one can depend on to pay tributes.
If a friend were to jump from a bridge
I will definitely not follow him to the edge
I would go down to the bottom to catch
Will try everything to my might to fetch.
Friends will come and friends will go,
the seasons change and it will show,
I will become old and so will you,
But our friendship stays, strong and true.

Earthquakes or volcano eruption,
Famine or flood
Are some of the natural calamities
Which cannot be stopped by any human ability.
In earthquakes houses and property are destroyed.
In volcano eruption lava is erupted.
In famines flood is not found,
In flood water reaches up to the
unlimited bound.
Rain, wind, sun and cold,
Are four gifts from God!
These may be helpful or may perish
In human life's relish.
Such are the calamities of nature-
They may be destroying some lives
also in the future.
Everything in her world is a calamity or disaster.
A professional downer, she focuses on worse scenarios.
I might have cancer, she tells me.
Because she fell down and her knee bled.
My mother might have dementia, she reports.
Because she cannot remember what she ate for lunch.
I cannot remember where I put my pen two minutes ago.
She is miserable by choice, so I remove myself from her proximity.
Not wanting to hear her latest catastrophe or tragedy in the making.
I feel sorry for her children. Some may never return home after escaping.
I woke up this morning
Enveloped by overwhelming feeling
Of being left behind
In a jungle of calamities
Which my father land has become
Dehydrated of every positive mood
Which gives way to the gnawing feelings
Of emptiness of unquantifiable loss
This nightmare refuses to go away
Rather it continues to concretize
The feelings of disillusionment
As strange happenings keep assaulting our sensibilities
Truth stands on its head
And sets no one free
Rather it pushes us down the road of
Perpetual loss of whatever makes us human
Mirrored Calamities
Double Sided.
Silver reflections.
Translucent damage.
Overwhelming distress.
Disruptive patterns.
Mental health disorder.
Insomnia.
Terrifying nightmares.
Tragedies to calamities.
A hard road.
Quenching nourishment.
No spiritual direction.
No human contact.
Sorrow to emptiness.
No emotions.
Just loneliness.
Walk through the storm.
Future unknown.
Darkness to gray horizons.
Mind in a dark haze.
Mirrored Calamities.
Never free.
Since you have been gone
A lot of water has passed under the bridge
A mixed bag of events have occurred
Leaving behind earth-shaking calamities
Difficult to quantify
As confusion like whirlwind
Keeps spreading and threatening
The very fabric of National Cohesion
Nobody knows what to believe anymore
As looters of our commonwealth
Keep spewing unbelievable theories
From two sides of their mouths
Shamelessly going back To their vomit of years gone by
To satisfy the cravings of their current masters
While citizens continue to wallow in abject poverty
Confused and traumatized
Where their next meals will come from
As their purchasing power has been eroded
By the demise of the national currency
Clubbed to death by inflation
And market forces
Never experienced in our chequered history
