Best Break Apart Poems
We were friends from far villages
We lived centuries of no breakages
Our relationship was that of villagers
Before this century of political pillagers
We lived happily in our villages
And our culture was of no edges
Our togetherness was for ages
That would not have us in cages
The profundity of our thought
Should correlate to what we sought
For the togetherness is called unity
It’ll always give us love and liberty
We had our different names
But politics gave us another name
This administrative name wasn’t naive
So it shouldn’t make us to be too naive
We may need to go apart
But our spirits will never part
Leaving one another will be a departure
Of a man who takes unknown adventure
Loves and lovers are parts in a play
acted from need or passion,
necessity or happenstance or duty
or merely not to be lonely for a while.
Loved in considered or unconsidered ways,
given or withheld,
perhaps with tenderness,
perhaps terror,
conscience or unconsciousness,
in dark rooms lit by a single bulb,
in the sunlight of bluets and corn flowers,
on a stage, with a script and other actors,
an audience, and the potential
for success or disaster.
If terrible enough or not attended to,
the play closes after a single performance,
finished almost before it’s begun.
It may enjoy a long run,
the audience growing larger with each recital.
Most though become mere skeletons
draped with the dry skin of life,
a dragging-on rote performance bereft of passion.
They end this way.
They break apart.
They just do.
God heart is not flesh so as not to be broken it is spirit
Beating not yet it embraces
It glows so it flows grasping
At humanities soul, spirit,
Spiritual fleshy heart hearts
So warm and tenderly soft

Yet, we still walk with a somewhat positive approach in life
Oooh…I tried to follow my heart
However, things did sortah go downhill for us…
But God… how did we deal with such strife?
Oooh… at least it didn’t break apart
It didn’t break apart
Oh…it didn’t break apart
Yet, we still drive on with this undying life
Oooh…I tried to build up self esteem
However, things got out of hand… how did we deal with such strife?
Oooh… at least it didn’t break apart…I didn’t even scream
I didn’t even scream
I didn’t even scream
Just stay calm, sister…
It’s okay to cry…
We all do it…
But, I don’t know exactly…why…
Yet, we still move on with this extremely uncanny life
Oooh…I tried to follow my heart
However, things got out of hand… how did we deal with such strife?
Oooh… at least it didn’t break apart
It didn’t break apart
Oh…it didn’t break apart
Thank God it didn’t break apart
Yet, we still work out our problems
Oooh…I tried to follow my heart
Just keep on pushing that heavy cart
But, don’t lose touch with hope –
God will lead us to the Promise Land…
God will answer our little prayers
Oooh… God hears us out…
No doubt…
No doubt…
We were a puzzle, left undone
Life is what you call a whole lot of fun…
But, look to God and you won’t feel so bad
I bet there are so many people out there
That aren’t man enough to say that they feel rather sad
But, I have a heart
That didn't break apart
If only you could listen...
Perhaps, you'll gain some insight
Seek first God's light
Instead of Satan's night
On the dark seas of the soul, waves of time break apart,
God tears away my emotions, like dried leaves in the wind.
My eyes, shipwrecked on tumultuous shores, gaze at the dimmed sky,
The blue, once pure, is now stained by the transparency of a snowy dream.
Incandescent shadows ask my mysterious, living face,
"Is it you, beautiful?" and the echo replies, "I don't know, I don't know."
On wings of flaming wind, chasms deepen in silence,
Drops from the feathers of mythical birds fall from lofty thoughts.
In forbidden nights, actors dream of lost roles,
Ambiguously interpreting the forgers of silent dreams.
Women who no longer want to bear the world's blame on bare shoulders,
Their fragile minds seek light in sparks from beyond.
The struggle is uneven, but from the darkness, a clear paradox is born,
Lost emotions, like falling stars, return as a gift.
On wings of dreams, I fly beyond the chasm of time,
Searching in the unknown infinite for the essence of his thought.
I remain in the flow of consciousness, a river that runs without stopping,
The paradox of my life is a labyrinth of longing and love.
Every night, on the world's stage, I play my role,
An actor lost among dreams, forever searching for his soul.
