Ever since I was a youngster, I loved my comedy shows
So, I've wrote about some comedy that most everybody knows
Remember watching "The Honeymooners" late at night tucked in your bed
Remember watching "The Flintstones" with Barney, Dino and Fred
Remember Soupy Sales, Red Buttons and Benny Hill
And don't forget about Mr. Rogers, and good old Mr. Bill
Remember Laurel and Hardy and remember Charlie Chan
And remember all the "Bowery Boys" and the "Little Rascals" clan
Remember all the "Munsters" and the "Addams Family" too
And remember watching "Tom & Jerry" and the classic "Scooby-Doo"
Remember all those comedy shows, I really loved them all
But still my favorite is "I Love Lucy" starring- Lucille Ball
SO or Silent One who is known to all
Our British connection, a mysterious butterball
Calls me Benny Hill
A connection if you will
Along with Python, made us giggle and guffaw
Many Brits are good friends of mine
A Benny Hill thing, ten times out of nine
My hero all the way through
Went to the same silly school
When censors sleep, my naughtiness shines
This guy prides himself in speaking gibberish
Multilingual, proud along with my limericks
Went to Benny Hill school
For underdeveloped fools
Passed with flying colours, ended up the class validick
It's Benny Hill here entertaining you all
With antics so silly, hilarious with falls
Irreverent without doubt
Scantily clad ladies throughout
Proud to be associated with this hilarious guffaw
