Young Bartholomew Trout
had his brain taken out;
with it in he felt pain
empathy and humane
felt compassion and kind
for the rest of mankind;
with it out, he was cold
and so easy controlled.
Now a head without brain
you would think be insane
but he went to good schools
with some similar fools;
quickly rose to the top
with a clippity clop.
Started stirring a crowd
with his speeches so loud;
“see the man with no brain
he will lead us and reign”
said the folk with blue hair
plus the odd millionaire,
and new people in town
who did not see the clown.
Now, because of all them
he became the PM;
told us all how to think
or be thrown in the clink
for it’s thinking’s the crime.
That’s the end of my rhyme.

Premium MemberClare And Bartholomew

Gather round all you little kiddies
Got a story I'd like to share
Bout a tiny mouse named Bartholomew
And a dirty big bear called Clare!

Now Clare wasn't the least bit happy
His name sounded a wee bit girly
Had a wee mousey friend Bartholomew
Who's name sounded strong and burly!

So hulking big Clare the unhappy bear
Asked his mousy friend Bartholomew
If he'd be so kind and wouldn't mind
Switching names, that'd be so cool!

Bartholomew said he wanted some time
To check with dear Cynthia his friend
About this idea of switching names
On her opinion he would depend!

Cynthia said, “If you want my opinion
Your name doesn't sound like a bear
But if Clare wants the name Bartholomew
We're still friends but now you'll be Clare!”

A name doesn't change the person you are
You'll be the same friend in the end
So forever after Mr. Bartholomew Bear
And wee mousey Clare stayed friends!

A moral?

A Word From St Bartholomew

That which is given unto me from those highest
Is given unto thee in the right of man,
For those who follow the most holy of paths
Are protected by those of the most holy of ranks.
Never to be defied, never to be hurt, and never to be seen in the likes of evil.
A wanderer amongst stationary plagues,
A locust among flies

Magical :: a La Bartholomew Griffin

Tell me, why did you smile?
What you meant by that smile?
Is there any message behind your smile?
Did I behave madly to make you smile?
Or did I utter wrong words for that smile?
There must be a reason for your smile.
I couldn't understand the cause of smile.
Did you read what's in my mind and so you smile?
Could you feel, what's my thought for that special smile?
Really I failed to feel the cause of smile.
I admit, I can't read the meaning of smile.
Yes, I liked that mysterious smile.
Let me tell ,you look so beautiful with that magical smile.
Why don't you tell me meaning of that smile?

all live onomatopoeia of woodland
tapping, flapping, singing, rustling, cawing, onomatopoeia
all live onomatopoeia of farmland
bleating, mooing, barking, honking, nighing, onomatopoeia
all live onomatopoeia of love making
sighing, sighing, sighing, sighing, Y E S, onomatopoeia!
