incessant
24/7
day after day
after day...
the bombardment
will not
go away
columns of tanks
missives of missiles
roar of rockets
the news cycle
dashes
all hope
Barrage in a Message Contained in A Decoupage
We had been bombarded by a big barrage',
Seemed so bad that we needed a message',
Saw quirk,
In art work;
Did dispose along with a delicate decoupage'.

From Trump we received another barrage;
Brain muscles missing trying to massage;
On you he growed;
Toilet overflowed;
We forgot to include his head in a collage.

I got him under our skin and all of the
skin fell off.
The result of your destruction
the bane of my plight
was buried in the muddy earth
just tryin’ to win this fight
I hate that I kept faltering
between my own convictions
your sordid ways were always sure
to add to the affliction
I don’t think that you ever cared
but you knew wrong from right
defeated by your endless lies
I left without a fight
I’d rather live in solitude
without a compromise
than dwell within the boundaries
of your barrage of lies
