Premium MemberTALENT EXTRAORDINAIRE

A star is born
A Young Man auditioned for a Theatrical show
He thought it might not be an accepted go
He remembered the advice his Grandfather would say
“Go out and do your best, and let your confidence shine through.
Before you know it, your expectations will pay off”
The Theatrical show was a Drama, the Director was looking for a Star Role in being the lead of “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM”
It was a play about knowing who a person is and finding their place in life
Seems fitting as the Young Man’s life falls into the category
On with the story
The Young Man was nervous yet confident
He had no idea in how the Director will respond to his audition
The Young Man had no theatrical experience
Only encouragement being his Grandfather’s influence
He read the script with Drama, Emotion and the Director felt his feeling
Later, the Director asked the Young Man did he act before, and he replied No that he was a natural
The Director then stated, Congratulations
You got the Lead Role
Thanks to the encouragement over the years from his Grandfather
Words from the wise

Drollery The Antisetic Poet

Allusion the word used
it seemed out of place
and wedged between
repetition and simile.
Her thick English sounding accent
was as attractive as her
Gorgous face and , she had
more appeal then all the Ladies here combined!
She was talking about writing and began
bragging about the day she
was in Windsor Canada and meet
Feasty Broadway ( the world renewed)
Musician and singer.
She said she took the bus from
Detroit and while there
the went to the Windsor Stadium while
several folk auditioned for
The play? or Opera " Best Sentio( Bel Canto).
" There he was all cute and smelling great:
and I was flabbergasted as I got his autograph.
While there we heard a guy talking to another guy
about the "The Treasure of Kiss-Per"
we thought it was a play: until we heard them speaking about
getting the ship close enough to
the detroit shoreline. Then we remembered
the legend of the Tresures of Churches, taking by
Canadain Pirates in
the early 20 th centery.
My freind and I stood there
and found out Feasty was involed in the Unearthing of the Loot!

Premium MemberLa Ballade Pour Adeline

Note: In 1976, Richard Clayderman (real name Philippe Pagès) received a telephone call from a well-known French record producer, who was looking for a pianist to record a gentle piano ballad. Paul had composed this ballad as a tribute to his newborn second daughter “Adeline”. The 23-year-old Philippe Pagès was auditioned along with 20 other hopefuls and, to his amazement, he got the job.

O sweet Adeline, born eyes open
And a smile on her small lips.
O delicious child I heard her gurgle
As if she had heeded a joke.
A tune raced in his mind and
He knew it was urgent to put it on paper.
The babe made noises of joy
And the music echoed its tune,
At times it was repetitive
At times it sounded soft and sweet.
But soon the babe raised her voice
A repetitive mellifluous melody
Lulling the babe to sleep.
Dream little child, dream on
Would that you have pleasant dreams,
And may the Good God bless you forever.

Frustrated Actor Slam

I studied to be an actor

And after graduating

Auditioned for everything

Yet couldn't even land a bit part

But as of yesterday

I am officially the back end

Of Donkey ass in a local production

Of Shrek doth Shakespeare

I guess this what they mean
when they say starting at the bottom

Or maybe this is sign that i have chosen the wrong career path

And that my vocation is not rooted
in the arts

A Redemptive Shroud
By: Miracle Man
1/30/2019

Hospital days elapsed slowly
As Heavens choir auditioned.

Today, I'm cognizant of the fact
That my time is being amortized,

And that God's redemptive love
Surrounds me like a pall.

Premium MemberWhen Are You Going To Be Done

Always something
You will be forever changing me
Forever doing something
I forget about making you doing nothing
Actually I gave up haha
You will be forever being a busybody
Getting into everybody's business
But it's your job, isn't it?
I am not officially auditioned for your job
So I will let you be
So you can do whatever
Say whatever
And I will go along with what You have
So we shall see, shall we?
God! don't you ever rest?

I'M Waking

Waves from the past at last hit me,
the people envisioned seem suddenly with me.
As where they'll be when im gone from this world,
til then I amend to sing songs to unfurl,
these posts are my eulogy to any who read,
when im not here to speak still you'll see truth in the feed,
i hope after laughter and smiling for reasons,
not towards the true love or nature through season,
I'm closing the curtains for the better of condition,
this show I did play in but never auditioned,
to all who did act bravo and well done, interpretive yes, but still not my fun..

Lisa Needs To Lay Off the Sauce

Lisa's vodka voice
calls from outside,
later than late, when
the stars have shut down
for the night, refusing
boozer-sight that prevents
one from tripping.

Screech owl's search light,
a Full-Sturgeon moon,
is still much too dark, if inebriated
to distinguish which cement walls
are most likely to attack.

Two eves past, her
horse auditioned,
center-stage,
in the living room.
He too loves a good
drink.

Excuse me, for I hear
her knock of desperation
at the door. As for Duke,
the horse; not to worry,
he can hold his own beer.
