My art teacher
chastises me
for always
being
too bold
blending styles
mixing it up
she likes things
neat and orderly
all separate categories
And it makes me wonder
how she got out of art school
at all
I like being
different
and I like to
push boundaries
sometimes blatantly ignoring
the so called "rules"
I admit to that
But I like letting my art overtake me
letting out my mind
sketching it all out on a piece
of flawless white paper
changing it
into the creation
I see in my mind's eye
Perhaps
sometimes
what I draw
or paint
or sculpt
is not exactly
what she had
in mind
but who is she
to put a rein
on my creativity?
I like my art
but if I can't be
unlimited
do what I want to do
how is it art at all?

The enemy within the wold of God,
'i've had enough of your infernal creation'he cries,
A smattering of original art,
daubs the walls,
Money hellbent antiques and platicine sheep,
No england, great England,
whose country houses are so dry,
and art collections not appreciated,
he ships them out to the poor,
Oh english ignorance a thing of beauty is a joy forever,
Not a million toy,
A real piece of art holds meaning beyong tears,
And the better the poor who have none,
Cry a little for what he has done.
Bruno’s Sculpture Garden
They say that he’s a genius
And yes, I do agree
For deep within the forest was
A wondrous sight to see
The fires came in summer time
The year two thousand nine
Destroyed so much it broke his heart
And left a scar on mine
But caught on film for all to see
And from the ashes rise
More sculptures from those gifted hands
To startle and surprise

What is Art?
Art is made.
So therefore Art has a Maker or Makers.
Art can be made by a solitary maker or through the collaboration of 2 or more Makers.
In order to answer ‘what is art?’ it is necessary to ask;
who is the Maker of Art and why does the Maker make it?
Individual human beings or collectives are the makers of Art and why do individual human
beings make art is the question, which gives us the answer to ‘what is art?’
I wonder what would the Father of
Modern Art have thought
Could he have seen the work consisting
Of a squiggle and a dot
Hanging in a big museum
Where the viewers hem and haw
And try to tell each other of
Its meaning wild and raw.
His "Still life With An Open Drawer"
Is as real as it can be
And needs no interpretation from
The art elite for me.
Cezanne painted true what he knew
With a bit of abstraction in all that he drew.
