Ko’si ewu loko Longe
Longe fun ara re ni Ewu
It’s at a start when I call on my soul,my flesh and my masculinity to take beyond the disappointment of my actions and bear the consequences of my reactions
For I’ve redeemed my sweet,thick voice for the echoes of the other world and silence my pains
Irin Ajo mi dabi Oko to ku so’ju Igbo
I’ve searched for a wanderer like me but I meet with only the lost ones
In this little surface of my healthy heart has been stabbed but not bleeding
I couldn’t comprehend if I’m the Sacrifice or the Savior
Bo pe titi
Akalolo a pe Baba
Sugbon Omije ti le di agbara ojo
Ki salubata mi si ti ba lo
Ki arami si ti tutu bi ewe oju omi
Should have been Hello from the other side cause I saw my hell burning so low through the lens of my blind eyes
Can I even cry?
Yes cause that’s the only myth to secure my Might.

After the party, i woke up on a tropical island
I was with three new friends in Manaus,
We drunk, on, two, three Caipirhina, Brazilian booze,
I couldn’t stop thinking about a Brazilian girl in France,
Have you ever drink four Caipirhina, in the jungle?
Walking back to our little dirty hotel at midnight,
We were singing and dancing in the deserted streets,
I remember a driver trying to run us over at green light,
That is what Saturdays look like in Manaus nights,
When I woke up, I really was in the virgin forest,
Multicolored birds were singing loud everywhere,
M hammock, was deep and comfortable like wool,
Later at noon, we were eating cooked piranhas,
A blue and yellow Ara Parrot, enjoyed our company,
When I Woke up, I really was in the virgin forest,
Ten blue and yellow Ara parrots were making conversation,
The girl I was thinking about became my loved wife

Década da Fé
Sem a influência sustentadora da fé
as pessoas
desenvolvem pouca crença
em si mesmas.
Todas as pessoas precisam
sentir que existe em cada uma,
fé, inteligência e amor;
pessoas que duvidam não conseguem;
as céticas não contribuem;
cínicas não criam.
Na próxima década,
é a década da fé;
o grande poder motivador;
nenhuma pessoa realiza todas as suas possibilidades,
a menos que tenha a profunda convicção e crença
de que a fé na vida é eternamente importante
e que seu trabalho, bem feito,
faz parte de um plano interminável.
Em 2021
esteja pronta
ara a Década da Fé.

BEFORE the day gives room for the reign of the
night
Before the loudest silence conquers the stillness
of the bustling day
Before the active eyes of the Hawk hide behind
the tired lids
I want to say
I will come to you like omo-gidi in Aso-oke,
gliding in pompous fashion against the walk of
the wind
I will come to you with a neck and wrist
decorated with the proud beads of our land
I will come to you like Omoluwabi
who cherishes the values of the land
and pledges to uphold them even afterlife
I will come to pluck my favourite flower in your
garden
with my chest against your ground;
a way that pleases the unseen faces of our
ancestors
I will come with my ebi ati ara(family and friends)
to pick that day your name would be replaced
with mine.

Ogun the god of Iron,
the day he was coming from Heaven to the World
he was clad in the burning cloth ,he wore the cloth of blood.
With his iron he made path for other gods.
A god that dares Ogun and asks who is he
shall soon perish in wilderness without trace.
Ogun has water at home but baths with blood,
he has cloth but covers himself with palmfonds.
Ogun drinks his wine not in glass but clabash.
Seven things I saw Ogun eat:
In a town call Ara Ogun ate male dog,
in a town call Ire Ogun ate bull-like-ram,
Ogun lord of circumcision ate snail,
Ogun lord of carpentry drank wood's fluid,
Ogun in the east ate horns of ram,
Ogun lord of tranportation ate roasted yam,
Ogun in foreign land has become Ogun in diaspora,
his food is simply the unknown.
Ogun is the lord of oath,
A child can btray all but not Ogun;
The lord of oath has no patience for the infidel.

Ah, Red Macaw, you are the pestilence
of impatience
in my day, soaring far, far overhead
squawking and screaming
your face overheated and red
beak too portentous
for sweets, gobbling and demanding
if ever you stop, but the leaves
have no leavening, you’re all feed
and poop and mar my day.
Even though I seek you out
you escape, Scotch-free,
wearing a tartan of betrayal.
Who you seem to be
righter of words, merely mimics
what experience I bring
with my heart and days. I want to
wear flames, gold, drink juices
that drip from the blues of my mouth.
You wear my head where I have shadow.
You wear my flight, straight and narrow
Branching and diving and soaring.
You wear my hunger for the sweetness
of truth, but follow only my path
Where is yours? Where is your course?
Of course. Your caw, screams
Why don’t you speak your own language
Know your own. Your home.
Instead of mine.
