Premium MemberAnticipate the Best Outcome

Leaps of faith are made daily
Optimistically thinking things will be wonderful
In a moment or two

Jumping into situations
With no fear, anticipating the best possible outcome
Zinging through life with an upbeat attitude

Temporary setbacks
Disappointments and surprises
Cannot take our joy if we jump hard enough

So let’s give life the giant leap she deserves
With exuberance and hopeful participation
Uplifting others along the way

Premium MemberI Did Not Anticipate Aging In Advance

Heartburn riled me up smartly,
Woke me up and slammed me on the floor
Before acid reflux could …
Oops. Too late! I ran for the bathroom.

Arthritis laughed and made my feet whimper
It felt like I had broken both my ankles.
Must be raining today, I guessed
As I wretched in the toilet

Eyes joined my face in the mirror
You are pathetic, eyes said, noting my oldness.
Falling apart bit by bit, inch by inch, day by day,
Aging is something I did not anticipate in advance.

Turn That Frown Upside Down

Laughing with giggles, while their belly jiggles
For I am but a clown
I'll make me jiggles and cause those giggles
For I am but a clown

I ride me little car and become the star
Cause I am but a clown
You sit the bleachers and laugh at me features
Cause I am but a clown

When I fall down with on my face a frown
Your little frown is turned upside down

Cause I am a great big clown
So turn your frown upside down
By going to the circus in town
To see that big funny clown!

Anticipate the Dark Night

M-ust anticipate the dark night,
A-wait the blue and gray;
Y-ou should forestall the evil,
E-xpect the wicked way.
T-o anticipate the dark night,
T-uesday ninth of January;
E-yes of you must be open, be cautious and be wary.

D-usk and twilight will come,
U-se the guidance of light;
R-eady your mind to think,
A-nticipate the dark
N-ight.

Anticipate

anticipation. a strong point, a big move, a big change. Ready? willing?
Love and Law. Two factors in possible restriction or obligation.
To say unitentional, an indirect yeet intimate approach.
An indirect yet belligerant approach, a contradiction
A tear, torn, indecisive. The contradictor, almost contradictory,
like mirror reflecting mirror and everything in between. This world revolves
around this reflection. Logical, artistic, or quiestion? Sanity, and you queston
yours. To be taught so your entire life. And to he and she until now, except for he
and she and you are tautology expert. I don't want to, need to hear it again. and to
reassure you. the thought has crossed my mind.

I Anticipate

I anticipate the morning with no clue of whats in store
I can feel my body mourning
  but I must stay strong
cause the wave will eventually fall
I hold the decsion of whether
I will let it crush me
    bring it on
     this girl will survive
      wanna know why?
    cause its near midnight
     yet I anticipate greatness
     my mood may shift
    my insides may shake
       but I will not break
      I anticipate tommorrow
