The Abc's of Bpd

Animistic descent from sanity
Boorish attitude, sense of lost control
Crawl out of your skin, bloody vanity
Darkness claws like a black hole
Eternal uncertainty wreaks mayhem
Freedom not given, glued to midnight
Glutton of attention, cannot condemn
Hungry for life, all bark and no bite
Insanity placed on my sweating forehead
Justification, she’s just sick
Killjoy I may be, the day I dread
Labels in my throat choke me quick
Meaningless apologies, see from my eyes
Nights of liquid lucidity, a dull mind by day
Oh the pain, its thorns shred my heart and thighs
Persistent thoughts, worries carried away
Question my identity, a woman without a face
Remember happiness, a fleeting memorial
Scars on my ribs, my heart’s knives trace
Tears on my face, struggles sensorial
Ugly feelings of hate, daily reprise
Veins of ice or so it feels, words tongue-tie
With echoing sighs my dream dies
Xenolith, smile covered, stifled outcry
Yearning for a hand to hold on to
Zealous recovery, fail and reverse

AN ANIMIST’S PRAYER

To the breath of life:
Help me to live this day
as an instrument of sharing, inspiration,
love, and respect
Let me be guided by an ancestral world of the
chant and the drum, the poem and the dance,
the hunt and the fire, the animistic perspective
of the human condition as spiritual essence
in a spiritual world!
Then help me to focus all that I am toward the
good I can do for the people I touch, for the stones
and the water, the wildlife and wood, the plants,
the air and the celestial arrays of the place where
I live, for all I can discern that is sacred and near,
infinite and beyond.
May I be a visible example of how we might live
if we really believe that our precious, precarious,
miraculous lives, are one shared breath and
inherently divine!
Amen, Shalom, Salam, Peace and Blessed Be!

On Lemmings, Chickens, and Things

Across the Tundra, lemmings race
To the cliff, then over the face.

The prevailing theory laments
That this is not mass hysteria
But miscalculated judgment
In migratory behaviour.

And I watch my neighbours hoarding
Lest they should find themselves wanting;
Epitomes of ascendancy
Clipped to animistic qualities.
Flailing arms scurry to the abyss
Repeating, ‘The sky is falling!’

And I, a social misfit, surmise,
Deluded prank on the populace.

Full Gratitude

A brethren of day youth and age does it change or fin of age how do words form discretion
To by pass what looks make or scene note it more hold of a key turn or engage?
Look on a winding road holds thought of conception view of discretion move or count or
Countless number left of titer.
Like a ribbon lost a bow tied to diferencia holds characteric of it on title
Of such thing as animistic to fear death to conquer death is it to siege or void notice
As day comes and days pass only thing at the end of a path is words said within meaning
I have to keep moving on and on and on judgement is pass on all not just one but that one,
Knows light emerge when doubt is mount does question siege meaning.

Bedouin: Desert Transient

Freelance wanderer carefully navigating the vast expanse
Shadow warrior doth stealthily advance without
remonstrance
With bartered lance, pawned knife; abridged parlance
Shuffling in tantric harmony o'er unforgiving terrain;
nuanced eccentric
Camel cavalcade, entrancing spectacle across glistening
sands prancing
Shrouded by the frantic wind; each, cloaked itinerant a
tenured mantic
Trading the rationed provenance of open spaces for
gratuitous providence of flowering oases
Prudently forming each tribal alliance; deviously skirting
terms of compliance
Hearth covering from servile herd exacted; animistic
seams redacted
Burdened traveler in psychosomatic trance; by warming
flame, pyromantic
Each tenement provisioned by industrious wives; lofty
presentiment
Hospitality granted to imploring drifters; enmity shown
to extorting grifters

A Peta Thanksgiving

Free range kitchen; cherished pets all around
In adjoining rooms animistic shrines abound
No clucking, cackling pens we'll hound
But residual carcases we'll gladly impound
A docile harvest plucked from the ground
No pork butts, rump roasts, filets to astound
Only our bleating hearts with consciences tightly wound

Thankfully a Speckled goose cannot be bound
With spindly greens our pristine figures we'll round
With a large caldron of bloody beets our carniverous friends confound
Replace the Carolina turkey with a tofu gam
No Picnic ham only Vegetarian Spam
Cancel the Giblet gravy; with spicy curry our imitations drown
A hearty Lentil soup; bouillon not a gram

Thougths

The cloud is set to cry
Thunder rumble
A sunday in RCCG
Drummer boy in spiritual malapropism
Members of choir malaguena(- ing)
Blue, purple and scarlet yarn floating in the temple
A chest-piece in between my ego
As my thoughts grew larger and thinner
I stood in the company's of fools
Upturning sanity for relativity
In the laboratory of my thoughts
I adulterated truth for thoughts
Questioning the audacity of morality for the concept of anything goes
Romancing with secularism and syncretism
In holy matrimony i stood with duplicity
Igniting animistic junks
Dancing round the camp fire of spiritism
I an offspring of paranoiac
Swam with mundane and nude views
In the harmony of my vain thoughts
A lightning electrocute my rear ear
A voice slashed me like sash, saying
' awake brother, the service is over'

                                                                        awoh awoh

Sensitive Times

When the boats washed up surfless from wars
We dived from the United Fruit Company wharves
Like gulls naked in the light of their eyes
Marking where the shining metals fell
Below the howling hoots, and kiting scarves
We plucked our lunches from the sands
Then finless rose to wind again
They were entertained by our necessity
And all we worth peripheral to the hilarity
That refused us a place of dignity then
Opportunity to display ourselves as men
And sometimes my being had no presence there
I was a shadow in the jungle, an image of fear
Harboring animistic beliefs that could transform
Margins of civilize safety and shatter norms.
