The sun is always joyful
in this plastic-perfect town.
The summer’s always idyllic and everyone’s golden brown.
But as someone new with fresh perspective: there’s something off about this place- the mailman walked by with a painted smile upon his face.
No matter where I go, people never seem to see, that the only one creeped out by this is always only me.
I don’t think they realise what a simulation they live in- programmed to ignore the cigarette smoke in the kitchen. The world’s evolved but they still live in a golden 1950.
Why can’t they see the flaws and obvious gaps in their logic? Am I the only one who sees the drinks and thinks ‘that chemical is toxic’?
So if you can hear me over the Cold War propaganda, look at the bloodstained picket fence and step away from the nuclear reactor.

The USA is this world
others, planets...
Japan is Russia
Brazil is in China
China is out there...!
the damned alarm howls at 5 a.m.
like a thirsty rabid dog in the dark.
I throw my bones into a threadbare suit,
and drag my carcass out the door.
the streetlights flicker, dying gods,
the freeway hums a tired hymn.
coffee burns my throat—
fuel for another round in the machine.
the boss with his middle fat finger,
his gold watch, his ulcer breath,
telling me I’m lucky to be here,
lucky to have this endless grind.
I move numbers, push papers,
count the hours, count the minutes,
watch the clock like a prisoner,
like a dog waiting for scraps.
lunch is a stale sandwich,
eaten under a flickering light.
I watch men in pressed suits,
laughing over steak and wine.
back to the desk, back to the screen,
back to the same dead dream.
the sun sinks, the city groans,
and I drag myself home.
a six-pack waits,
a cigarette, a sigh,
some mindless TV to fill the void.
then bed, then dark, then nothing.
the alarm I hate, howls again.
another day chewed up,
spit out,
like a lifeless roach, life is gone
an American Dream
An American election is important for the world
right now, I see a dilemma on the one hand
we have Trump, who is too old, power once
in his hands, the bullet missed and struck hard
confidence is not cock sure his grip has loosened
Yet, his meeting with mortality might make him
a great president
The universal hatred the political class has for
Trump makes me suspicious of them, I think,
is because they fear he is a loose cannon that can
fire their way, exposing their corruption, their
lies to the people, one has to remember the USA's
politic is run and often won by those with cash
There is Kamala Harris, who plays the black card
to garner votes, but she is a person no one knows
anything about except her blind loyalty to Biden
was more important than loyalty to the USA
I think she was chosen because she has no political conviction
an empty vessel that can
Burp up what she has been instructed to do
smile and laugh while dark forces are changing
America into a socialist darkness, killing the once
powerful anglophile hegemony
The Dreams…
That human beings pursue Freedom and Happiness
That men share all of Mother Nature’s resources
That all religions and faiths practice Compassion
That land and sea disregard the boundaries
That men’s skins recoat in the Blue Earth’s color
That we can tell alien visitors: We are Earthman!
15 January 2024
In shadows cast on amber streets,
The American Dream is fading fast.
Once a beacon and why it now wanes,
A tale of loss, of silent pains.
Industry roared, cities grew tall,
But inequality cast its shadowy pall.
Corruption crept, unchecked and sly,
Dreams thus fractured, our hopes left to die.
In the land of plenty, hunger grew,
As greed's poison tainted the red, white, and blue.
Education crumbled, a broken bridge,
Opportunity lost, but for the privileged few.
Wall Street whispers, a haunting hum,
As the dream succumbs to the beat of the drum.
Political storms, a tempest's tide,
The American Dream, lost, set aside.
Climate crisis knocks at our door,
Nature weeps, a world at war.
In the wake of choices, heedless and blind,
The American Dream fades, left behind.
Streets are long,
here where the town shifts into
linear ranks of commercial blocks
out-pacing the moving cars.
This is America most everywhere.
All that can be seen from a car screen
lays its naked desires out
in the pale meat of the indiscrete.
Strip Malls blot a Lego landscape,
corrosive ribbons stretching on
to a somewhere just the same.
Nail salons and 'gentleman's' clubs
signs of a bankrupted and built-in
redundancy.
An undertone of yellowing urinal reek.
This dream we made to be us,
always finding what we seek.
Love letter to the American Dream
Time has not been kind to the Giantess
Of American fame. With dreams they come
Attracted to the bright beacon promise,
Only to be dashed against the fear-dome
Of freedom lost. The Sea-washed, sunset Walls
Stand tall, guarding a crushed and crumbling Empire.
Her ruthless eyes watch for any exiled souls
That dare cross, clutching in hand a warning pyre.
“What has happened to my American Dream?”
The people cry, “Promised were we, a welcome-world
For the tired, the lost and homeless.” “Whim,
Were those words. Turn back. As lies you were told.”
The titan glare glowed world wide, gates were shut.
Hopes dimmed. But like Lazarus, would rise again.

9 to 5 at a dead-end job, staying on someone else’s couch.
Paycheck to paycheck, house to house.
This is how I survive, this is how I live my life.
My life has always been a cycle of revolving doors,
feeling torn between the life
I want and the life I was born.
I want a job, I adore that doesn’t feel like a chore.
I want a place I can call and say it’s my home.
Making something of myself, changing the world.
But it’s a pipe dream for me, it’s The American Dream.
I fantasized about it until I realized it could never be mine.
In-between me and that dream is a wall installed to keep us locked outside.
This giant metal wall spikes at the top so we can’t crawl.
It casts a dark shadow, might as well have guards with ammo.
It used to be just an idea, no one thought could ever be real.
Now it stands 50 feet in the air and all we can do is stare.
It was born to life with hate, birthed by a coward who was given way too much power.
The life I wanted, gone in just a moment.
The American Dream, no longer for me.
It was a nice dream and now that’s all it could ever be
I was brought up believing in the American Dream…that every person in America…everybody…every soul…has the same opportunities to fulfill their hopes and wishes…to achieve their highest goals.
But for women and other Americans with a different color on their face…when it comes to the American Dream…this hasn’t always been the case.
There have been some Americans throughout our history who to other Americans have been more than just unkind…who have forgotten no-one created on this Earth should be enslaved, mistreated or left behind.
Which means the American Dream…the one instilled in us by our fathers and our mothers…
an never be called the American Dream even for some
if it’s been a nightmare for so many others.

Angelic facial features with huge sparkling eyes
A perfect youthful dewy complexion
Very long silky looking thick hair
Red pouty lips moist with bright cherry gloss
Long red nails with big sparkling rings
A 22-inch waist, with perfect measurements
Legs that go on and on, forever, with
Perfect feet and toes in spiked heels
A very busty hour glass figure....

This was poem is written to bring attention to teenagers and the perfect body images they are trying to compete with. This has caused self-esteem issues and eating disorders as well as depression and suicidal thoughts. It would be so nice if our society depicted normal healthy realistic women in fashion magazines!
Trump Did Destroy American Dream
Trump thinks he is reigning supreme,
While he did destroy American dream;
Even would scour;
Found golden shower,
And economy is floating down stream.
