Alleyway Poems - Poems about Alleyway

alleyway

Do you want to know why I do it?
Its a reason that I didn’t
even know I was looking for till
long after I had found it
its the time im out back of the hotel with tracy
and her cousin having a smoke
the cops asking if we’d seen anything
suspicious
or the time winter told me about some
of the best

Loves Alleyway

When wantonness elopes the green
a blaze of colour occurs
stretched far into the day
The reciprecent celebrates
the elopers attention
The golden hum of bees pervades
along the meadowed stretch
as young lovers discuss
their two tired options
like pebbles along the sycamore bridle

Adventures In a Cobbled Alleyway

Adventures in a Cobbled Alleyway

Down our old cobbled Alleyway,

Bricks crumble in sin, in this place that I'm in.
There's a heart shaped on the wall, the size of the devil's grin.
Echoes shiver

Treats From the Alleyway

I look to fetch
She lives in shadow
wearing only grief
our lust is shallow
the place convenient
church for the sinful
the smell fowl
her legs weak
her hair pulled back
her throat
soft
cut
lost

Alleyway

A cat wandering the
streets of the asphalt homeland
     sees an alleyway next
to an apartment building
  The cat walks towards it
in the heat of a summer
afternoon
    The alleyway is dark and
cool inside
    Youngsters walk there to retrieve
balls they have thrown
