I netted a word today

spritzing in the back of mind,

examined it from angles:

politically, like stars and spangles

rhythmically, like Mr. Bojangles

spiritually, like sin~ the foolish soul
entangles
--------------------------------

Some writes simply
start that way, a little
prick, a piercing needle,

a little sip, then a bigger swig --
from a simple plan with
a hopping step~ to a stomping, glorious
gig! --

A bee of thought
from silent hive astray

a buzzing syllable
with small fanning wings

jolting every colony senator
with shocking, new contagious
temblor

till the whole damn swarm
takes alacritous notice --

the poet begins an inflating rock...

bursting out joyfully~ his pen verse
singing!

Premium Member So Baffling

How can you look forward to a future looking through a horrific past.
I had to grow up alacritous.I ran before I crawled in the grass.
Fought many fights, A couple of them whooped my ass.
Every day can’t be to be strictly only stress in.
Faced many mistakes while learning my lessons.
Had to close a few doors to attend my true blessings.
It’s adamant to stay strong on my feet.
Carrying a rib caged heart that constantly skips a beat.
Gasping for understandings behind hot breath that don’t care.
I continue to embrace love regardless of emotions, fears and feelings that are so baffling to bare.

Within the Light

Within the realms of Heavens light
The Master of Peace garnished in white
With a touch of red to reveal his heart
Showing us the way to a fresh new start

His words pour down to all who seek
To all who protect the mild and meek
The light from His eyes shines through the veil
To all who believe and thus inhale

He is all that I need...He is all that I know
He is all that I bleed...He is all that I show
He is all that I lead...He is all that I glow
He is all that I feed...He is all that I tow

His presence beyond captive comprehension
His Love the path to alacritous ascension.
