Beep beep beep
The motor is running, everything is in place
My heavy breathing fogs up the glass placed in front of my face
The various buttons, I want to press them, such a colorful display
Ladies and gentlemen, we’re making history today
I feel trapped by the crushing pressure, I let out a loud wail
Every moment counts, I’m about to drown, we’ve done it, we’ve tipped the scale
And just for a moment, for a split second, my rocket ship leads me astray
Everything breaks, I fall out the airlock, infinity pulls me away
My crew mates betray me, they cut off my chord, they say I can be on my own
Everything’s dark besides the stars in the sky, so far, so cold, so unknown
Then I turn my head, my eyes are so blurry but I see the earth in its grace
Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform you, we, are floating in space

If I sit in back and don't see what's coming,
jump from a plane without a chute,
stand in an airlock and evac the air,
fly toward the sun and get too close,
love you and lose me

Here I am alone in space orbiting the earth
There were others once but they are gone for what it’s worth
For when we left there was peace of earth for many
But war turned up again like a bad penny
So we sat up looking over the world
As the mushrooms grew and destruction gelled
After two days things became deadly quiet
And the earth burned below in a fiery riot
My fellow cosmonauts decided to end it all
Going into the airlock without space suits was their call
After a short time the airlock was opened out
And each of them died as their bodies were thrown about
I am alone here on the International Space Station
As I contemplate my next action
Then suddenly the radio spoke to me
Saying calling the International Space Station we are alive you see
So I have a decision to make now
Should I try to get to them or just call foul
There was a Soyuz capsule awaiting me
Or do I join my fellow cosmonauts and be floating free.

Houston, we have a lollipop
Peppermint Patty is outside the airlock
The lemon drops are handy and dandy
Secure as Loony tunes on the moon
Tasty as caramel popcorn parties
The Eagle has landed
That's one small step for man
And one giant leap for candy kind
Be gentle to your rainbows and unicorns
Kiss my wife and kids goodbye
And billy goats too if you find them
Kiss your jellybeans twice if they collide
With cotton or chocolate meteorites
Ground control we're stepping outside
Tootsie rolls are calling us on
To sweet flavored carpet ride smiles
Colored in nature by bubble gum tides
Floating on sugar coated cosmic waves
Fluffy white bunnies circle in orbit
In powdered sweet dreams of delight
Be kind to your lambs if they land
Happy happy joy joy, happy happy joy joy
Please, pretty please send some happy baked cheesecake
Whip up some hot fudge sundaes with a cherry on top
Houston, we have a problem
We need more lollipops soon or we will hold our breath
Turn blueberry blue forever
Or fall asleep, whichever comes first
Depending on the weather

Upon the jagged rock,
Where cloven hooves did trot.
A maiden clothed in dock,
Thought life was meant for naught.
Adorned in nature's frock,
Awaiting wind's onslaught.
Ticktock, ticktock, the clock
She dreamed of love a lot.
From China to Bangkok,
Wind brought the storms mascot.
He wished, that young warlock.
The devil's charms besought.
Two footprints stomped bedrock
Where, dreams remained bethought.
Beneath the black nighthawk,
The maiden heard gunshot.
The hunter drank cognac.
He passed through a sandlot.
Then, met that old warlock.
Good luck was all he sought.
The devil owned the rock.
The maiden's hope was naught.
The hunter could not talk.
The wind's good luck was wrought.
Within the storms airlock,
Those two with Satan fought.
The hawk began to squawk.
The hunter luck was bought.
Then came the storms windsock.
To waft the dreams besought.
Where love, its coursers walk.
Her wish was finally wrought.

Eating at the house on MARS

back on the third planet NEWTONIA in the STAR SYSTEM MISTY WAY in the city of
Bostonia is where the warehouse of importance lay and as they entered the
airlock even BOY went along with no apprehension or even useless worry for in a
Chapter Poem Story my poetical license is in effect and BOY even though he is a
Martian had no problem with the atmospheric effect of the Nordic Home. Let's

Our mother made lasagna,
And then she went away.
She gave us full instructions.
We're left to find our way.
She wrote her notes on baggies,
Of prefabricated meals.
And put them in the freezer,
Under airlock seals.
We tried to follow closely,
All her helpful notes.
The meal looked very tasty,
Until it reached our throats.
The flour I mixed with water,
And dumped into the stew.
But it made it rather gummy,
And very hard to chew
This is not a great beginning.
The future looks real bleak.
We're growing very hungry.
But we've got another week!
